Please help I use a custom font in this file in my team and I have to re-install Figma agent everytime I reopen the file. I have the custom font downloaded properly on my laptop, but everyday when I first open my file I have to re-install the Figma Agent software to enable my local fonts in Figma. How can I fix this??

Let’s start with some background. Our team of designers began using Figma for design and delivery last year, for which we have purchased over 200 enterprise seats. Initially, the delivery process was quite pleasant, up until Figma started charging for Dev Mode. Before the existence of Dev Mode, engineers using the Inspect Panel’s viewing functionality was sufficient for us. We did not anticipate Figma making “minor adjustments” to the Inspect Panel for view-only users to make Dev Mode more appealing. Engineers have been complaining that they can no longer efficiently view design drafts or copy CSS code as before (not referring to Dev Mode beta, but the original Inspect Panel before Dev Mode). Some engineering teams have even asked if the designers could switch back to Sketch, as the delivery efficiency in view-only mode has severely deteriorated. Hey everyone, Does anyone know when the AI tool will be rolled out to all users? I’m on the paid Team Plan and using UI3. I can already see the AI beta settings in the admin section, with everything enabled, but there’s still no AI button in the toolbar. Does this mean it’s not fully unlocked for my team yet? We’re really eager to try it out! 🙂 Any idea when it will be officially released to everyone? Thanks in advance!

I am new to writing Figma plugins, however i have started quite a large project. Hence, for code cleanliness i would like to hold some of the functions, types etc. in other files apart from code.ts. However, when i try to import a function into code.ts to run, from another file, Figma throws an error that it does not recognize the ‘import’ syntax. Syntax error on line 1: Unexpected token Is there a way to import a function to the code.ts, so that i dont have to copy the whole codebase into code.ts.

Hello Figma Team,I’m experiencing a critical issue with my Figma design files. Whenever I open any existing or new file, the canvas is completely blacked out, making it impossible to view any designs. However, the left sidebar, right sidebar, top left, and center toolbar are all visible.Additionally, when I share the file link with others, my profile is not visible, and the collaborative mode does not appear to be active.Please assist me in resolving this issue as soon as possible. Hey, dudes! 😀In the teacher's lesson, when selecting an object, a window with options appears at the top, but I don't have such a window in Figma. 🤷‍♂️ As far as I remember, I used to have it too, but now I noticed that it is no longer there. Is there any way to install it? 

Is there a way in export settings to not create a destination folder when exporting frames or images? Please help!

Hey everyone! I’m trying to export multiple frames as a PDF, but it looks like the 'Export frames as PDF' feature is no longer available. I’ve checked on my Education plan, my company’s Enterprise plan, and a free account—none of them have the option. Has this feature been removed or relocated? Also, I used to be able to export PDFs with embedded videos, but now they just appear as images instead of videos. Has anyone else encountered this issue or found a workaround?

Hi is this possibel to do on Figma? I am aware it is coding, but is their a simple way to do so on figma.  

The Slides file is in the same space with my design system files but I cannot see my published colours and text styles within Slides. Is this a known issue or am I missing something?

Hello everyone,there has been a few reports of my plugin https://www.figma.com/community/plugin/1404783727338541788/infinite-variable-modes not working for some users (it runs, shows some UI, but fails either at fetching variable collections, or at messaging between the UI and the part making calls to Figma plugin API), and it seems to have something to do with the type of plan(license) the user has. As far as I know, it should work fine on Free and Pro, but seems to struggle on Org and Enterprise. I was able to do a little testing with one of the users (Enterprise), who had an issue with the plugin, and as soon as he switched to his personal account (Free or Pro, not sure), it worked just fine. I wasn’t able to identify any other differences between the users for whom it works, and for whom it does not.Have anyone experienced something like this before? Either from the user or the developer perspective?Could there be some sort of settings in these Org and Enterprise plans, that could

Figma links should open in the App. Stop cluttering my tabs. It’s bad enough to have to have the Figma forum open for all the things wrong about this app.

Smart Animate is a great feature for designer but how is it translated when Dev receives this? After deactivating Google SSO and updating the email in settings, then confirming the email address by clicking on the link in the mail it creates a brand new account on that email!!?? I’m at a loss for words and had to give up the process.

I noticed the Framework event went over using gradients being accessible as a variable, but I’m wondering if I missed a detail on when that would available? I’ve refreshed my Figma desktop app and checked for updates and I haven’t seen anything that allows me to attach a gradient to a variable. Anyone have any guidance? PS: I am only interested in the native solution, not 3P plugins.

Dear Figma Community, I am facing a major issue with syncing components in a Figma file, and I’m hoping someone here can help me out. I have a file that is not syncing properly when I make updates to the component library. Specifically, when I publish changes, the review changes prompt appears, but when I click “Update,” not all instances of the component are updated. This is happening for multiple components. After some investigation, I noticed that in the libraries for the current file area, the component library I’m using keeps getting unchecked. This is a significant problem because both the library and the file I’m working on are quite massive and complex, so creating new files is not really an option. I have tried everything I can think of to fix this issue, but nothing seems to be working. If anyone has experienced a similar problem or has any suggestions for how to fix it, please share your insights. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I am a beginner in figma.  My text looks very transparent although I have Fill and Stroke on 100 %. How can I change it, that my text “Über mich” is less transparent?I have tried and searched but I cannot figure it out. Can anyone help me please, what do I have to change?Best regards, Oli

Hi Community! I have a prototype which has a button that sends the user to a WhatsApp conversation. Yesterday I was able to open that link with my Figma directly into to WhatsApp app. Now however, the link is opened in a browser. I did not change anything, so I don’t know how this happened. What can I do to force the Figma app to open my link in the app instead of in a browser? Maybe this is a WhatsApp thing that changed, but it’s very weird… Thanks 🙂

I’m using Figma on the web with an 11in iPad Pro M4. When I click the text styles button with a text box selected it appears to be impossible to actually apply one of the styles. It selects the menu item but it doesn’t actually apply it. I’ve tried this both with my finger and Apple Pencil.  

My images are scaling smaller when dragged into figma - WHY? Top image is a screen grab of the website Middle image is the file dragged into Figma (viewing at 100%) Bottom Image is the Website Look at the font sizes in these jpgs - Its impossible to map 1to1 when this is happening - HELP!

Hi everyone, I am trying to migrate from InDesign to Figma but I still need InDesign files. After creating the Figma documents I will need to somehow export them and work with them also in InDesign. It seems there is no way to export a document directly from Figma to InDesign. Does anybody know how to do that (maybe a plugin) or if it is even possible? Thanks
