Hello Figma Community,I am currently facing an issue with Figma authentication.I am unable to reliably receive the authentication  code required to access my Figma account. Because of this, I am having difficulty signing in and accessing our professional Figma workspace.I already raised this issue with Figma Product Support under Support Request #2188208 and received the automated acknowledgement, but I have still not received any proper response or assistance. The main issue is: Authentication or verification code is not being received properly I am unable to complete the authentication process This is preventing or delaying access to Figma Support Request #2188208 is still awaiting a response Could someone from the Figma team please help escalate this ticket or advise how this authentication issue can be resolved? For security reasons, I prefer not to share account-specific or organizational details publicly and can provide them directly to Figma Support.Thank you.

A nested icon instance has its variant property (Environment = iOS / Android / Web) bound to a string variable, so it switches automatically with the variable mode. Inside the parent component, the icon has its own settings: width and height bound to a size variable, an explicit variable mode for color, and a layer name. When the parent instance sits in a frame whose variable mode makes the icon resolve to a variant other than the one stored in the main component (e.g. Web instead of iOS), changing the parent’s variant drops every setting on the nested icon. Swapping the parent to another component does the same. The icon falls back to the raw icon component: default size, default color, default name. Steps to reproduce:Create an icon component set with a variant property “Environment” (iOS, Android, Web). Create a string variable in a collection with modes iOS / Android / Web, whose values match the variant names. Create a parent component set with variants State = Start / Partial / Fi

Hi Figma team,In mid-September I submitted my shader effect Radial Bokeh Blur to the Community, and it has been showing "In review" ever since. My previous shader, Linear Transparency, went through review in about a week, so I wanted to check: is the submission still in the queue, or is something holding it up?If anything needs to be fixed or added on my side (description, preview images, anything else), I'm happy to do it.Link: Radial Bokeh Blur | FigmaThanks a lot for your work!Artur

Figma Spec announcement this week is brilliant. I already know that of a lot of different things I’ll be able to do with it immediately which will considerably increase and improve my design workflow. These features additions to Figma Spec would hands down flip my design workflow on its head.1. Figma Spec document libraryBasically this would be the same concept as the assets library, but instead having a specs or document library. This would allow you to access all of the spec documents in your design file from a single top level UI navigation element and be able to create folders and sections of all the different spec documents in your design file. Why this is useful is that in very large design files with lots of pages, layers and stuff. You might not actually want to navigate all the design files to find the spec that you need and if you only going to read or updated the content in the spec, having to navigate to it through the files pages is a bit slow and pointless. If you could set

When working on UI designs, I often find myself copying and pasting the same kinds of things throughout the day: text snippets, color values, screenshots, links, and small design references. The problem is that the next thing I copy replaces the previous item on the clipboard. If I need something I copied a few minutes ago, I have to go back to the original file or application and find it again. For anyone using Figma on a Mac, how do you handle this?Do you rely on the standard macOS clipboard, use a dedicated clipboard manager, or have another workflow that makes it easier to reuse copied content?I'm particularly interested in tools that make it easy to find previous clipboard items without interrupting the design process. It would be useful to hear what works well for designers who regularly switch between Figma, browsers, documentation, and other apps. What does your clipboard workflow look like, and is there anything you wish worked better?

In the properties panel I can quick-select variables for gaps and spacing by hitting “Shift 0” (german keyboard). Unfortunately the focus stays in the selected input field and I have to use the mouse to click somewhere which usually then deselects my element – otherwise I can enter letters if I use the keyboard.I would like to leave focus state of the inputs when I selected a variable via keyboard.

Hi Figma Community Review Team,I’m following up on Version 21 of our plugin, Ptengine Landing Page, submitted on September 9, 2026. It has been pending review for over five weeks. This is a version update to an existing plugin. Could you please check the review status and let us know whether any additional information or changes are needed from our side? We would also appreciate an estimated timeline for completion. The plugin page currently indicates that it is private while under review. Could you confirm whether this is expected during a version update review?Plugin: Ptengine Landing PagePublisher: Ptengine’s teamVersion: 21Submission date: September 9, 2026Thank you for your help. We’d appreciate your assistance in moving the review forward.Best regards,ZackPtengine

I created a paragraph content and its mixed with different font weight to highlight the keywords. while duplicate the frame it works fine. But when I copy the frame the highlight styles removed. While I create the same screen for different platforms its a biggest issue. For every frame I’ve to fix the highlights manually. This needs to be resolved.

can i request reverify Figma Education again? i made mistake

Hi Figma team and community,I am trying to use Figma MCP (Model Context Protocol) integration in VS Code, but I’m running into a persistent authentication token creation issue that prevents the connection from working. Problem DescriptionWhen I configure mcp.json like this:"figma": {"type": "http","url": "https://mcp.figma.com/mcp"},and start the server in VS Code, a browser opens to https://www.figma.com/oauth/mcp/... where I click “Agree and Allow Access”. It seems that fails then a window in VS Code shows “You have not yet finished authenticating to 'Figma MCP'. Would you like to try a different way? (URL Handler)”, which I click “yes” and it takes me through the same Figma OAuth Access flow in the browser, and re-opens VS Code. After doing this, the Figma MCP server fails to start and I see the following MCP Output Error messages:[warning] Error getting token from server metadata: Error: Failed to create authentication token[info] Connection state: Error 401 status sending message

Hello,we found the following issue when swapping libraries. It seems Figma properly swaps variables, but not modes. As soon as a mode is applied on a frame or a component / variant it is not correctly swapped and shows duplicated modes. We were able to isolate the issue in a very simple file setup (see attachment).File 1 - Test LibContains a simple color variable with 2 modesContains a simple style as well (not using the variable)File 2 - Test CompContains frames using the variables from the Test Lib, one applying also a mode, one applying the style.Contains a simple component set. Each variant uses the variable. One variant also applies a mode. This is how it looks in the original Test Lib fileThis is how it looks in the original Test Comp fileAfter copying both files and swapping, it looks like this in the Text comp (copy)Obviously the variable is still applied, but modes are not.Library is correctly connectedWhen looking at the details of the layer it is very obvious that we have a br

Dear Figma Support Team,I am experiencing an issue with the cursor/hand icon in Figma Prototype Preview. When I preview my design in Figma while logged into my account, the hand cursor does not appear on clickable elements, even though the interactions are working correctly. However, when I open the same prototype in Incognito mode or in Chrome without logging into my Figma account, the hand cursor appears as expected.I have already tried troubleshooting the issue by checking and updating the relevant settings, but unfortunately, the problem still persists.Issue Summary: Problem: Hand/cursor icon is not showing on clickable elements in Prototype Preview. Expected Behavior: The hand cursor should appear when hovering over interactive elements. Actual Behavior: The cursor does not change to a hand icon when logged into my Figma account. Additional Observation: The hand cursor works correctly in Incognito mode and in Chrome without logging in. Troubleshooting: I have already checked

One of our Figma Design files is suddenly showing as deleted / not found when we open it. We are currently using a paid Professional Figma account that was originally created using one of our employee’s Outlook email credentials around 7 years ago. That employee left the company about 2 years ago, and their Outlook account and credentials are now locked/deactivated. However, the Figma account is still actively being used by our company. Currently, we have two other members under this account, but we are unable to fully manage the account because the original account owner/admin is no longer accessible. We need to: Add another company email/member as an admin or account owner. Manage the billing and payment settings. Increase/manage our AI credits and other account-level settings. Could you please guide us on how we can transfer the admin/owner access from the old employee account to our current company email? We want to continue using the same existing Figma account and do not want to create a new account. Please let us know what verification or documents you need from us t

Hi everyone,My Figma plugin has been marked “In review” for approximately two weeks, and I’d appreciate some guidance from other plugin developers or the Figma team.Plugin: Source to Design for JetBrains ReceiverPlugin ID: 1686774800472314244It is a free companion plugin that imports local .s2d.json files generated by a separate WebStorm plugin and creates editable Figma layers. The Figma receiver requires no separate login and has no network access.Figma’s support assistant directed me to the forum, so I wanted to ask:1. Have other developers experienced similar review times recently?2. Is there a way to confirm that my submission is still in the review queue?3. What is the appropriate channel for contacting the plugin review team?I can provide a sample .s2d.json file and testing instructions so reviewers can test the receiver without installing WebStorm or purchasing a license.Thank you for any advice!

I’m building around 40 social media post templates for our marketing team. This is not my first time using Buzz but I’m rather new to it. I am a daily user of Figma Design though. Testing my templates, editing content, changing layouts, swapping variants etc all works, but I cannot seem to open the simplified content editing panel. It used to be shown on the bottom left of the window, and I saw it once or twice while testing, but I’m pretty sure it’s a bug. Clicking edit only opens the ‘Bulk edit’ panel, there’s not even a button for the normal panel showing anymore (square with pencil icon). Wondering if this is a known issue and is being worked on or not. For me it’s not a big issue, but for my marketing team this panel is very easy to use and much preferred over the manual ‘click on the frame to edit’ or bulk edit panel. Thanks!

Currently, importing and using a Community design system (like the Streamlit Design System) in a personal design file has way too much friction. When duplicating a library from the Community, it lands in Drafts, then I have to move it to a Team project, open Library settings, publish the file, and then enable it inside the file I am working on before I can drag and drop a single component.Proposed Solution:Dedicated Libraries Tab on the Sidebar: Add an explicit Libraries element directly on the left sidebar alongside Layers and Assets. One-Click Direct Import: Allow users to import or link any component file directly into their active file from that sidebar tab without maybe add an import to the folder level as well so assets can be easily allocated to an entire project

Please let me disable this fly-out. It’s so annoying!

Hey all,Is there a keyboard shortcut to navigate through comments?  eg. Next / Previous Thanks!

Hello Figma Support,I’m working in ChatGPT with the officially connected Figma MCP plugin. I have edit access to the target file, and other canvas editing actions work, but image uploads fail.On September 28, 2026 at 16:18 UTC, I requested a fresh submitUrl from upload_assets for file E1r9TavVGj7XrvGMaL6RAb. Following the tool’s preferred instructions, I sent a 706,594-byte PNG via POST as multipart/form-data, with the image in the file field. The endpoint on mcp.figma.com returned HTTP/2 405 Not Allowed, with a 163-byte HTML response from openresty/1.27.1.1. There was no Allow header or request ID, and the image was not placed.Could you investigate why the fresh upload URL rejects the request format specified by upload_assets?

the copy option disappeared on figma make from today

Hello Figma Support Team,I’m reaching out regarding two billing issues with my account.1. Unwanted Seat RenewalsBefore my subscription renewal date, I removed two seats because I no longer needed them and did not want to be charged for them again. However, both seats were renewed, and I was charged for them.I would like to request a refund for these two seats and have them removed from my subscription so I won’t be charged for them in the future.2. Accidental Dev Mode SubscriptionDev Mode was also enabled or added to my subscription by mistake. I did not intend to purchase it, so I would like to cancel it and request a refund for any charges associated with it.I would appreciate your help in resolving both issues and adjusting my subscription to reflect the seats and features I actually need.Thank you for your understanding and support. I look forward to your response.Best regards,OnMeeting Team

When I export presentations from Figma Slides to PowerPoint that have fonts in thin or light weights they become regular (e.g. inter thin in Figma becomes inter regular in PowerPoint).Figma is good for designing slides. And presentation via Figma is good for Figma users. But the majority of people want to get PowerPoint slides. So for Figma Slides to be useful for businesses, it needs to play nice with PowerPoint.
