Hi there!  What an incredible world we live in.  I have been a business owner for 35 yrs, and since day 1, I was always working with a programmer, or support team to improve my business processes through software. Now I can make software apps on my own?  WOW.    I have been around all of this a long time, but never learned to code.  I know some principles and have a mildly informed philosophy on how to build software.  I basically wing it and use my builder brain to guide me.. but thats not sustainable for making REAL software that people rely on in business.  Not yet at least. So , I wonder what I can actually do with Make.  Can i do all the same things that all of the other Figma products do , just with an agent doing it for me?I am dreaming up all kinds of fun ideas with it.. but I really dont know whats possible vs what is not. Anyone want to send me down some fun rabbit holes?​​​​​​​

 Hi everyone,I’m wondering if anyone else is experiencing significant delays with Figma Support recently.I submitted a support ticket on January 22 regarding a billing issue. I accidentally upgraded the wrong team to the Professional Plan and requested a subscription transfer to the correct team.It has been 5 days (as of Jan 27), and I haven’t received any response yet. Since this involves a paid subscription, I’m quite anxious to get this resolved quickly.Is this wait time normal these days? Or is there any other way to reach them faster?Any advice would be appreciated.Thanks.

Converted over to Figma from Sketch. Had a very large Sketch file that I consolidated into two files. One file had the bulk of the work, and the second had extras that were less commonly used, but still important. I made the mistake of not importing it all into Figma at the same time. I imported the more important file, and had to do a lot of work to fix components so I was back to working order.Now, I’m looking to import the smaller leftover file, but they use the same components as each other. The first file now with updated, Figma friendly configs. The older with the malformed components from conversion. I’m looking for the best way to merge and clean everything up, if that’s at all possible. These files are dense, 4 years old with lots of art boards and components. Is there a workflow I should be following to the bring the new file into the fold, without having to go through all of that work fixing the converted components? I’m not using a library. Al

I’m currently working on a fairly large product with an expanding design system (multiple components, variants, and shared libraries).I wanted to ask: How do you manage performance and organization as the design system grows? Do you prefer a single main library or splitting components across multiple libraries? Any tips for keeping components easy to maintain without breaking existing designs? Would love to hear how others are handling this in real-world projects. Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone,Our Figma team got locked because a monthly invoice from January 8 is overdue.The subscription period on the invoice is Jan 8 – Feb 8, and access has been locked since then.If I pay this overdue invoice now: Will the subscription be considered active retroactively from Jan 8? Or will Figma restart the billing period from today (Jan 26)? In other words, will I effectively lose most of this billing period, or does Figma reset the cycle after payment?

We are on an organization plan where the admin setting “Allow links to be shared with anyone outside your organization” is disabled.Because of this, we are unable to share prototype-only links with external users who do not have Figma accounts, even when the intent is view-only and password-protected.Can you please confirm the following: When this org-level setting is disabled, there is no way to share prototype-only links publicly, including password-protected links. There is no team-level, project-level, or file-level exception available for this setting. If this is correct, are there any supported workarounds recommended by Figma for client or stakeholder prototype reviews where users cannot create Figma accounts?

 Hello, I’m testing Figma Jam for my team’s purposes. We hope to export the elements and relationships of a mind map to a CSV. Unfortunately, the CSV option in the export selection list is disabled, and I cannot find any help to address this.Is anyone familiar with the issue?

I was using the free version of Figma and was able to access Figma Design Tools in the Slides section until this morning. Later today, I decided to pay for a Collab Seat to get access to more features within the software, and I noticed that I lost access to Figma Design Tools. Is this normal?

Hi! I’m trying to create a grid-style wallpaper in Figma.I designed a single square tile and exported it as a PNG. My goal is to use this image to fill a larger rectangle with a repeating pattern (tiled multiple times at the original size).Here’s what I’ve tried so far: I created a rectangle and, in the Fill section, changed the fill type to Image and selected my PNG. However, this results in the image being scaled up so that only one large square appears inside the rectangle instead of repeating. I also tried setting the fill type to Pattern, but when I click Select source, nothing happens and I’m unable to choose the image. Is there a way to make an image repeat automatically as a tiled pattern in Figma without manually duplicating the image? If this isn’t supported natively, are there recommended workarounds or plugins?Thanks in advance!

Hello!  I’m having trouble with the preview functionality, as it is stuck in a square aspect ratio, displaying a section of the total screen. Even when I click fill screen, it is still showing the same thing, only larger. Please see images below. Any help is most welcome!  

I hope I’m phrasing my question correctly. How do I reset a button to it's default instance in the preview? I want it to go to it's default instance by clicking outside it, but I don't know how to do it. Like when you click a search bar & the cursor blinks & the bar stays highlighted until you click anywhere else beside it. Any suggestions would be very helpful, thank you.

It’s is showing black screen without any error message. I tried to uninstall and clear all the files in file manager and reinstalled it again but still it's not opening I tried All the method listed below : 1. Clear Figma cache2. Run Figma with disabled GPU acceleration3. Update your graphics drivers4. Reset/Reinstall with full cleanup Please Help me in this !!!

Hello everyone,I am pretty new to Figma prototyping and have only done basic transitions between pages. I’m working on a case study right now for a redesign, and I want to add more advanced prototyping, but I have no idea where to begin.In my Flow 1, there is the top text field and then the search classes button. If the text field is empty and the user tries to press the search button, I want an overlay of Frame 13, where the field turns red to indicate that it is empty. If the user presses on the empty text field, Frame 15 will overlay over it, meaning that there is a search query in it. Once there is something in the text field, the user can press search classes and it will take them to the next screen. Does anyone know where I can start or if there are any tutorials similar to this prototype?Thank you!!!!
