Grey outline has suddenly appeared around all text and picture elements and frames. Some Googling suggests I’ve activated Outline Mode. Unfortunately, none of the shortcuts to switch off Outline Mode are having any effect. Stuck, with grey outlines on everything. Please advise

Random grey outline around EVERYTHING

We took a closer look and wanted to check whether enhanced contrast might be enabled. This setting may explain the grey outline you’re seeing around elements. You can review and adjust it by following the steps here: Change themes in Figma → Enable enhanced contrast mode.
If that doesn’t resolve it, please reply here with a bit more detail about the unexpected outline, such as:
- whether it happens in all your Design files
- if it looks different in another browser or the Figma Desktop App
- if it looks different on another device.
A screenshot would also be really helpful (even if it only shows a partial view of the elements and frames). Happy to keep digging with you!
It turned out a stroke hade been made around every element. To resolve, I selected everything and unchecked all the strokes highlighted in the right hand panel.
