Hi,I’m posting here because support has repeatedly closed my requests without resolving the issue, and the situation has now become unacceptable.Over a week ago, I purchased a full paid Figma seat using my personal account and credit card. The seat was mistakenly applied to an old team that I created years ago, and immediately after the payment, I lost access to that team entirely.Current situation: I have been successfully charged for the subscription I no longer have access to the team I cannot manage or cancel the subscription, meaning I will be charged again next month for something I cannot access I have no visibility into who currently has admin access This is a personal account, so there is no organization admin I can contact.At this point, I am being charged for a service I cannot access or control, with no way to prevent further charges. I really wish there was a way to export my transcript from figma make. If I am a non technical user, I need to be able to extract this transcript from time to time, to give to another AI to help evaluate what I am doing, and to document my process. There is a lot to learn from the process.  For the past hour I have been trying to copy and paste the content, but that wont work either.  I highlight huge chunks of the convo, but the way the page is structured,  only 10% of what I highlight can i paste into a document. Its a real pain!  At least let your agent see the convo transcript so we can talk through what we made before ,and the agent can talk about different versions and see back into the project history!  

I’m running into a frustrating issue with component property overrides resetting during prototyping. I have a side navigation system built with three main button styles: Primary: Standard button with icon toggles. Secondary: Includes a caret and triggers a nested menu. Nested: The sub-menu item. The Issue: Whenever I connect these via interactions (e.g., clicking a 'Secondary' button to show the 'Nested' menu), the custom overrides reset. Specifically: Icon Resets: If I change an icon on an instance, the interaction reverts it to the default component icon or resets the color. Content Resets: When the dropdown opens, the 'Nested' menu items revert to their default CTA text instead of the custom labels I’ve written in the design. State Logic: I also notice that the 'Pressed' state of a button doesn't "pull" the icon override from the 'Default' state, even though it's just a variant change. This has always been a pain point for me — whenever I need a logo from a website for a moodboard, competitive audit, or brand exploration, I end up digging through DevTools or screenshotting something blurry.I finally got frustrated enough to build a Chrome extension to solve it. It's called LogoFetch — it scans the active tab and surfaces every logo it finds (inline SVGs, linked images, favicons, OpenGraph assets, CSS backgrounds) in a panel. Hey everyone! 👋 I'm having an issue with a dropdown menu in my navigation component and I can't seem to fix it. Here's my setup:- I have a Navigation component with variants (closed and open states)- The dropdown opens using a **Mouse Enter** interaction with **Change to** action, switching to the open variant- The Navigation layer is at the very top of the layer hierarchy on the page The problem is that even though the Navigation is the topmost layer, the section below it (hero section with text and illustrations) is visually overlapping the dropdown when it opens. I've already tried:- Checking and disabling **Clip Content** on all parent frames- Moving the Navigation to the top of the layer panel  

Hi everyone,I’ve been unable to use Figma Make for about 4 days now. I reached out to Support and a Product Specialist confirmed this is a known bug: "The issue you're experiencing seems to be related to a Make bug that our engineering team is actively investigating... this error message is not related to any AI credit limits."This seems to be account-specific. My main account (Professional Plan) is completely stuck, but a separate test account is working perfectly on the same PC/network. Is anyone else experiencing this bug? If you found a workaround to "reset" the account connection to Make, please let me know!

I’m using a popover component with a slot. One of the items inside the slot is a fixed-height auto-layout container with a list of items. I want this list to overflow:scroll vertical, however, the prototype scroll options are disabled. I tried nesting this in a new frame and the scroll options are disabled for this new frame as well.I’m trying to avoid breaking the original component and utilize the slot. Is scrolling only preserved for the slot itself or can you embed scrollable items within a slot?Here’s a video showing more detail:

 Overlay positions need per-side offset values — manual dragging breaks consistency across every screenAll 8 presets and the Manual position snap with zero spacing. There is no stored offset value — just a drag that has to be repeated on every screen.---THE PROBLEMWhen I use an overlay across multiple screens in a prototype, I pick a position preset from the dropdown. But the overlay snaps with zero spacing — no gap from the edge. So I manually drag it to add breathing room. That works for one screen. But the moment I duplicate that screen or add a new one, I have to manually nudge the overlay all over again.Every screen ends up with a slightly different overlay position. There's no way to guarantee the overlay sits exactly 24px from the top on screen 1, screen 5, and screen 12 — because that value lives nowhere. It's just a manual drag, repeated forever.This applies to every option in the position dropdown — Top left, Top center, Top right, Bottom left, Bottom center, Bottom right, Ce

Auto-filling slot containersIs there a way for an instance added to a slot to automatically fill the slot container? For example, when I insert a row component into the slot, it keeps its fixed width instead of expanding to fill the slot.Selecting a preferred instance variantWhen setting a preferred instance for a slot, it seems like I can only select the base component—not a specific variant. Is there currently a way to choose a specific variant as the preferred instance?The only workaround I can think of is breaking that variant out into its own component, but that feels like it defeats the purpose of variants.Am I missing something in how slots are intended to work, or are these current limitations?

My Figma Make is always giving me this error. Couldn’t reach server, try again in a minute. Its happening from last few months. I have changed internet, cleared cache and also try this on my other computer.

Hi,I don’t know if I’m the only one with this problem. I have the slot. I configure it, etc. everything awesome.I take the instance, try to use it.Add an instance of the component that I had selected as the preferred one.Now, it breaks my Fill for width and height for the component and the component doesn’t fill the slot area!Now, I know it has to be changed to fill but weren’t slots supposed to be automatic? So that whatever is put there, it behaves like it should?WTF?Another BROKEN FEATURE… OMFG.

Hi peeps. I’ve been updating my existing components that have instance swap elements for the new slots feature where they’re appropriate to use and I was wondering if it is possible to set the element automatically in the slot to “fill” width without having to do it manually?

I loved this new slot in figma, but you guys could allow copy and paste inside, the only thing i can do is place a fragment and replace, which makes no sense, maybe it’s a bug I don’t know… but it should. Also what a damn good feature.

The biggest hindrance I have right now with using Figma Make is the inability to simply chat with the AI and/or make a plan with the AI before it executes changes. From what I can tell, the “Ask to start” setting does nothing different than the other options. I want to ensure the AI has a clear understanding of what I’m asking before it just starts making changes, particularly functional changes to a prototype. For comparison, I have been using Lovable for a while now and use the Plan mode (formerly Chat mode) almost all the time. It draws/writes up detailed plans that ensure alignment between me and the AI. If this is already in development and there’s a way to get early access, I would definitely like to try it. For now, I continue to use Lovable until this functionality is available in Make.

I have been experiencing unusual behavior in Figma for several days. When I use Spacebar + mouse to pan, the canvas moves unpredictably in different directions while the spacebar is pressed. Refreshing Figma temporarily resolves the issue, but the glitch reoccurs frequently. I am using Figma Web.

I've tried upgrading my figma plan to pro many times, but it always gives me an error message: "Sorry, we couldn't save your payment method." Respond in FIgma 

 This popup does not go away. I have answered this question in every way possible and it keeps returning. Please turn it off. It is not clear what this is even referring to. My design? The Figma App design? Something else?

Figma slots does not allow for me to edit components with existing content without overriding all instances. For example, i want to update my popover component to leverage my surface card component so the engineers know which surface card is referenced. I drag in the surface card into the component. I drag the content inside the slot, and all instances update. Ideally, this would work similar to when you move content around components it maintains the connection in all instances. see video

After updated figma as 125.9.10, cropping image one side by holding control key (the most powerful function!) doesn’t work any more. Holding ctrl key now acts as squeezing image. and double click to move and adjust cropped image also doesn’t work anymore. what happened to figma??  or is there something that I missed? I changed image type from fit to crop already.  

Hey folksWhen working on freelance projects, I’ve noticed that creating a structured brand system (logo direction, colours, typography, tokens, etc.) often happens while designing in Figma rather than before.I’ve been experimenting with generating a rough starting point upfront — something like:- logo directions- colour palette- typography pairing- basic UI preview- design tokensThe idea is not to replace design, but to start with a structured base before opening Figma.I also made it possible to:- sync tokens directly with Tokens Studio- download all assets as a .zipSo it’s actually usable in a real workflow, not just inspiration.I’m curious how others approach this:→ Do you usually define a system first, or let it emerge while designing?→ Would something like this actually help your workflow,?Would love honest feedback — especially from people doing freelance or early-stage projects.

Figma Make is the best prototyping tool I have seen so far (yes, better, or at least more time efficient, than V0 and Claude Code for now). It also has an integration with Github, which is suuuper cool. Now… it would be REALLY gamechanging, if the connection with Github was a two way sync. If edited code could be pulled back into Figma Make, for team collaboration across multiple platforms. I understand that this is really tricky, because Figma Make can't interpret all types of code… but I'm putting it out there…
