How do I export the ZIP of my site in Figma Sites?

I remember there used to be an option to download the ZIP from Sites and Maker, but I can't find it anymore. Did they move it or remove it?

problems copying indivisual code from the code block in dev mode

In Dev mode if I want to just copy one or 2 lines from the style code block, it’ll paste it out as just a unicode instead.I’ll have to use only the copy button to copy all the code for it to work - which is overkill and a waste of time for what I need. This never use to be the way.

Can't collapse entire frame

Before you used to be able to command click on an entire frame and it would collapse all groups inside the frame and the frame itself. Now if I have a frame that has 100s of layers and layer groups and I am trying to find a specific layer, I can’t collapse all folders easily to find the correct layer group.

Figma Make: Writing code is break and don't stop reasoning over and over

I made a Figma Make which is quite complex (more than 2200 lines of code in the App.tsx file) and now when I want to add or change something, the code stops during writing, Figma make reasons then goes back into a code writing loop and starts again like this... Sometimes after several reasonings it arrives at something but it loses all the work already done up to that point... Please does anyone have a fix to rectify this? I would really appreciate some help

Figma MCP, can't get good results, have tried many things

I love the MCP project but am having a really hard time getting good results from it, every time I asking Claude Code or Cursor to style my UI component like the provided link it’d not even close, it was 85%-90% wrong, sometimes really wrong. Making it mostly unusable.Lots of experience with LLM coding, I know what I’m asking for it with-in their capability. I also recently tried Figma Make where I imported the exact some component, using the exact same prompt and it completely nailed. Figma Make using Claude Sonnet got all the colors right, the fonts sizes, added the exact stroke and rounded corners, it even added roll-over state and correctly guessed my design intent, really amazing! But when I do the same with Claude Code and Figma MCP but it completely fails, adding styles to the wrong components, getting all the fonts wrong, colors are all over the place, etc. I have some theories as to why but would love some feedback and helpTheories1. Ownerless File – Can't Claim Ownership as Team Owner

Hi everyoneI’m facing an issue with one of my files in Figma. I’m the Team Owner, but the file has somehow become ownerless after trying to move it from Projects to Drafts and back. Now it just shows no owner, and I can’t find any option to reclaim it, even though it’s inside my team space and I have “can edit” access.I contacted Figma support, but the AI assistant said ownerless files can't be claimed directly, only ownerless projects can. It also mentioned that I can still edit the file or grant access to others, but that doesn’t help with actual ownership.Has anyone experienced this before?Is there any workaround or way to properly reclaim ownership of a file in this situation?

can't update branch with main file

When I click update to update my branch with the main file, I get this prompt. This just started happened within the last 2 weeks or so. This is unique to me, my other team members are not having this issue. thanks

Dev Mode Not Visible Despite Full Seat

Hello,I have recently purchased a Full seat which includes Dev Mode access (screenshot attached). I’m using the Figma Desktop App, but I don’t see any option to enable Dev Mode under Preferences.Here’s what I’ve already tried: Confirmed I’m on a Full seat with Dev Mode included. Using the latest Figma Desktop version. Restarted the app and checked for updates. Cleared cache and logged back in. Could you please help me enable Dev Mode or check if there’s any issue with my account or rollout?

Pause animations?

Is there a way to pause animations on click or tap? I have a play/pause button that has a circular progress bar inside of it. I would like to click it, then as the progress bar animates around the circle, I would like to be able to click the button again and have the bar stop/pause, then be able to click once more and have it continue to animate where it left off. Is this even passible?

Font variable doesn't visually update across pages unless text is interacted with

DescriptionWhen I update a font family variable in my design system (e.g., changing FontPrimary in the brand collection), the text on some pages doesn't visually reflect the new font. The change does apply, but the new font only renders after I double click or otherwise interact with the text. Until then, the old font appears on canvas.This issue seems to affect styles that use font variables indirectly through alias collections and text styles.Steps to Reproduce Create a font family variable in a brand collection (e.g., FontPrimary = DM Sans). Reference this font variable in an alias collection that defines type scales. Apply those variables via Text Styles across multiple pages in the file. Change the value of FontPrimary to a different font (e.g., Inter). Observe: some pages update correctly, but others still show the old font. Instances of main component not respecting color configuration, must be completely reconfigured

Hi everyone! Here is my setup:I have a main icon component that has all the sizes and the colors available.  There is an instance property on the main icon component where designers can select which icon they want (basically a nested component)  The nested icon component that is selected changes size and color depending on the settings of the main component Problem:We are adopting a new icon library I went into the icons that already exist and replaced the .svgs  I created new icons  Now all the instances of icon are not obeying the color property set in the parent and need to manually reset and reconfigured. This is hugely manual and annoying... is there something I can do to avoid all this effort, and why is this happening?

Font does not change when changing the variable

Hi, I’ve noticed an issue with changing the font family in the variables modal. The font does not update across all pages and components automatically. The font can be changed to the correct family when double clicking on a text box. Cheers, Sanny

Changing coolors in Buzz Bulk Create

Has anyone found a way to have a color variable for bulk create in Figma Buzz? For example, I have an ad. I want to make 5 variations with different background images. I also want each ad to have a different font and button color. Do we think there will be an update down the road to make these edits in the google sheet for bulk create or will it need to be done manually after creation? Am I missing something? Thanks!

Hamburger overlay that when it expands it moves content underneath it

 Hi Community, I am trying to create a hamburger menu that when it expands - opens to show page titles it moves the content - page title / breadcrumbs  down underneath it any ideas !? Included some images of the interaction I am trying to recreate…  CLOSED OPEN

Jarring experience with hiding/showing left panel in UI3

Hi Figma,Could the right panel stay fixed when the left panel is hidden? I'm not sure why it switches from fixed to floating. Also, when I zoom in on an element with the left panel hidden, parts of its area gets hidden behind the floating right panel. Is that the expected behavior?I've attached a video below to add more context.

DevMode MCP's `get_image` tool error

Hi there,I’m Joo, a designer contributing to the Cursor-Talk-to-Figma (CTTF) project. First of all, thank you for releasing the official DevMode MCP — especially the image extraction feature. We’ve been successfully combining DevMode MCP with our plugin API-based third-party MCP to automate many workflows, and it’s working really well. However, I’d like to report a recurring issue when using the get_image tool.In our setup, we typically use Figma’s get_image to extract visuals, pass them to an AI agent for analysis, and then follow up with tools from CTTF — such as UX writing or critique. But as shown in the screenshot below, we consistently run into an error when calling get_image. While hitting “Resume” does allow the process to continue, the repeated interruption creates some confusion. Any idea what might be causing this?Should I raise this with Anthropic as well? Thanks in advance!

Why are links shared with viewers now static so viewers can't see updates made?

When sharing a link to a page in Figma to a viewer, we have recently experienced that the viewer can not see the updates made by the designer when the reviewer is revisiting the page via the link the day after?It’s creating a lot of frustrations when you think the viewer is seeing the same thing as the designer is, but they can’t see the updates that have been made since last.We have not noticed this earlier. Is there a fix for it?We have also experienced that the updates made by one designer (in the most recent case a new page added in a file) was not visible to another designer until the other designer reopened the file. This causing great frustrations when designers working together online on the same project.

Using Plugins with Figma Make and exporting design only

Hey everyone,I’ve been using Figma Make to build my website and noticed that it generates a lot of React code with many components. I have a few questions: Is there a way to export or download the entire project as a .zip file, instead of manually copy-pasting the code into my local environment? Since I don’t need all the React code, is there a way to export only the design, or better yet, convert or export the Figma Make project into a Figma Design project? In Figma Design, we can use plugins like Builder.io — are plugins like that also available for Figma Make? Would really appreciate any guidance from anyone. Thanks!

[Bug] Whyte font is missing from Slides template

This is just a bug report (if this belongs somewhere else happy to submit this there) The Mobile Product Review Slides template uses Whyte as the title font but that’s unavailable for most users. I’ve been using IBM Plex Serif as a replacement, but anyway, worth changing so users don’t run into this bug in the future.

A file disappeared from my account

Hi, I have lost an important file on Figma and I can’t find the file in any of my projects section or in the deleted section. It just disappeared completely and when I tried to access it through a past link, I am getting the following message: You can’t access this resource Contact the owner, an admin, or support for assistance. Mouse Icon for the tool is not updated on hovering over different elements

On the canvas, the mouse arrow is always replaced by that tool, that is currently selected. But on hovering over e.g. the edge of a section, over elements with comment tool active etc., the mouse stays the same and onl shows a mouse arrow, instead or the resizing icon, or the comment icon etc. Mouse Arrow does not change on hovering over elements, so that its unclear wich tool is being used or is availablePlease make repair the mouse to change to the right tool on hovering on different contexts again. It really makes working harder, because you are not sure which tool is currently selected.Thank you!

Problem with PNG in my projects

Recently I got a problem with my Figma projects (web and app likewise) - all the PNG files in any project does not load, as well as their thumbnails (the thumbnails got partially fixed at some point, but now are not loading again).My attempts to fix the issue:Pressed Help - Troubleshoot - Reset Figma and Restart couple of times. Cleared my both C and D drives (not completely), removed the unnecessary .fig, .psd, .png files, some apps, even the After Effects and Media Encoder, since the initial thought was the problem was caused by some sort of incompatibility.  Cleared the browser cache (both the Chrome-based one I use and the Chrome itself). Updated the AMD drivers to the latest version. Updated Figma app to the latest version. Re-installed Figma app like 5 times, and I hope it was a proper reinstall, since everytime I opened FigmaSetup, it just went straight to the app, without even a chance of choosing different drive to install (I don’t remember how did the app behave the very firs
