When a text box contains multiple colors, the gradient editing panel cannot use the rotate gradient function！！！！I remember it used to be possible. Why was it removed? It's extremely inconvenient. It's a negative optimization. Let's get a new product manager！！！！！！！！！！

I recently did the latest Figma update and now I can not add variables. Some of them let me do shift click to still find them but they are not showing on resizing fields, Gap or padding.

Hello!Variable fonts that contain an `AVAR` version 2 table will not respect the table’s values. Version 1 AVAR works fine afaik. Currently Figma completely ignores the table’s data and renders the variable font location based solely on the slider locations, whereas the current table spec allows for a location to map to multiple axes. e.g. input weight:400, width:100 => output weight:365, width:95 Currently AVAR2 is supported in most browsers and harfbuzz-based applications. Afaik, Figma is using Harfbuzz so I am wondering if its version is just behind?   Issue is happening in browser and desktop application   Figma Desktop App version 126.9.13MacOS 26.5.1 (Darwin 25.5.0) Processor arm (arm64) Thanks!!

A nested icon instance has its variant property (Environment = iOS / Android / Web) bound to a string variable, so it switches automatically with the variable mode. Inside the parent component, the icon has its own settings: width and height bound to a size variable, an explicit variable mode for color, and a layer name. When the parent instance sits in a frame whose variable mode makes the icon resolve to a variant other than the one stored in the main component (e.g. Web instead of iOS), changing the parent’s variant drops every setting on the nested icon. Swapping the parent to another component does the same. The icon falls back to the raw icon component: default size, default color, default name. Steps to reproduce:Create an icon component set with a variant property “Environment” (iOS, Android, Web). Create a string variable in a collection with modes iOS / Android / Web, whose values match the variant names. Create a parent component set with variants State = Start / Partial / Fi

Hello,In our company, we decided to use new text style specifically for buttons and similar components. This style has vertical trim set to “cap height to baseline”. All of a sudden, text’s line height gets squished: I tried re-installing Metric font from several different sources but nothing helped. I’m currently on MacOS, on my private computer (PC/Windows 11) everything works fine. Thank you

I am having a problem with assets not loading in the Make file. After quite a few attempts at resolving the issue, it persists. I tried duplicating the project so it might have a new Make environment, but it still didn’t work. The app’s live bootstrap and cached-preview build both pass successfully, though.New file URL:https://www.figma.com/make/HXgQSuday11N9eipX0oARa/Interactive-Map-with-Features--Copy-Failing endpoint:https://www.figma.com/api/source/v1/make/environment/HXgQSuday11N9eipX0oARa?guid=0%3A6HTTP response: 404

I tried to publish the Figma site but it was unsuccessful. I don’t know why..Is there any solution to this? or do i need to fix all accessibility issue?

Hello Figma Support Team and Community,I urgently need help recovering access to my original Figma account, which has been suspended since approximately October 6–7, 2026.Whenever I try to log in, I receive a message stating that my account has been suspended. I have attached a screenshot showing the issue. The only change I made around that time was changing the login email address of the account administrator. I did not knowingly do anything else that could explain this suspension.I have been using Figma for approximately 3–4 years for my web design business, Digit, and I paid for a subscription for more than two years before switching to the free plan because we changed our design workflow. My account contains more than three years of professional work, including website designs, prototypes and client projects. This represents a huge part of my entrepreneurial journey and the work I have built throughout these years.I have already contacted Figma Support multiple times under support r

I’m using Browser, I’ve tried refreshing, closing and re-opening the file but still does not work. When I open the preview, it goes to “thnking”, “building” then blank.

The new updates are great but it has also brought key problematic issues. Previously I was able to use the edit button to select any item on the page. That’s gone. It will only select element like cards and you have to drill down the right hand side html preview manually. When you click go to or show source instead of showing the source code of that element it mostly takes you to the app.tsx page or the export function of the page you are on. So annoying. Previously I could select paragraphs and element no matter how small directly on the preview screen and it would go to the code source of the element. As you can see from the screen shot the go to source  button is greyed out for this paragraph. It message says ‘cannot open a third party component’. Since when are simple HTML elements third party? Before the update with the old selector it was fine. This new one is problematic.Secondly manual edits still don’t have version history. It was promised to be fixed with the new updates. Not

Hello community,We are experiencing a recurring typography-formatting issue in Figma that is affecting our production workflow.Observed issues:Superscript text automatically reverts to normal text. Bold text changes to Semibold without intentional user intervention. Text formatting appears to change unexpectedly in existing design files. We need your help determining whether this is a Figma product bug, a font-related issue, or a file-level problem. As this affects production deliverables, we request that the issue be investigated by the relevant product engineering team and that we receive a clear root-cause analysis and recommended resolution. We can provide affected file links, screenshots, a screen recording, and reproduction steps. Please confirm receipt and advise on the next steps for investigation.Regards,Creative Operations Team

Hi im trying to verify my student account and went through all the process to get this message: We couldn't continue your verificationLooks like you've already been approved for this offer. I understand that this means the account i was trying to verify is now approved, but then i went to F5 my figma page and i still have the message of: Only 4 days left to verify that you're a student or educatorTo keep collaborating on Figma's Education plan, please verify your status soon. Another account i have was verify recently so maybe that can be a reason why, but then i made a mistake because i wasnt trying to verify that account and used my college’s information which i also used for this account to try to get it approved.

Hi Figma Support Team! We’ve encountered a critical issue with Slots in Figma that is significantly impacting our design workflow and slowing down development.Issue descriptionWhen working with nested component instances inside Slots, modifying the contents of a slot can cause unexpected changes to other nested instances of the same component and even affect the original Main Component. Slot contents can be altered or broken unexpectedly, and parent component properties may stop propagating to nested instances.Steps to reproduceOpen a component that contains nested component instances inside Slots. Duplicate a child component instance. Start modifying the items inside its Slots. Observe that the changes can unexpectedly affect other child instances and/or the original Main Component. The issue occurs regularly in our workflow, although it may not reproduce on the first attempt.Current workaroundResetting the affected instance appears to restore the expected state. However, the issue reoc

i just clean some files from my laptop and after that i opened my figma file and my project was not there i check the version history but there was no history showing so can any one tell me how to get my project back it was happened just a day ago

Why can't my account use the AI agent on Figma, and why is sharing restricted? When submitting a prompt to the AI agent, I get this error:"Something went wrong"srid_KP0VRNAXSG3SHX7PCCFVNxxxxxFile sharing is also restricted on the same accounts. What I've tried so far:- Created a brand new account on a Starter plan just to test — same issue occurs.- Several people on my team use our company email (same domain) and hit the same problem.- Interestingly, some accounts using the exact same company domain do NOT have this issue — they can use the AI agent and share files normally. So it doesn't seem to be purely plan-related (happens on both Starter and Professional) or purely domain-related (some accounts on the same domain work fine, others don't).Has anyone else run into this, or know what might cause accounts on the same domain to be treated differently? Any insight would help — currently stuck waiting on a support ticket for this.

Hello! Built-in shader effects, including Duotone and Pattern Refraction, suddenly stopped rendering in Figma. They remain listed in the Effects panel, but their visual output is missing.I have already restarted Figma, cleared the app cache, tested the browser version, and tried another, more powerful computer.WebGPU is available, and the WebGPU Report shows successful device and context initialization. The effects were working normally the previous day.

Hi Figma Team,I am posting from a secondary account because I am completely locked out of my main Professional plan account. I have been trying to get this resolved for two weeks with absolutely no response from Figma Support, which is causing a severe deficiency of service for my professional work. The Situation: I recently sold my old device which contained my 2FA authenticator app, and the tokens did not migrate. I also do not remember my current password.Verification: I still have full access to the original email inbox associated with my locked Figma account, and I have all of my recent invoices and billing details ready to verify my identity.I need someone to manually remove the 2FA requirement so I can trigger a password reset to my active email. I have already emailed support multiple times over the last 14 days without a single reply.Could a Community Manager please send me a Direct Message (DM) here on the forum? I will provide the affected email address and my billing proof p

I just purchased an additional 2,000 credits, and they are already gone. There is no way I used that many credits in just few hours. What makes this even more frustrating is that I cannot see my current credit balance, review my usage history, or track my payments. I have no clear way to manage my credits or understand how many credits individual requests consume.I am spending a significant amount of time and money on this platform, and this lack of transparency is creating a very poor experience. At this point, I feel like I am being ripped off because I have no way to verify where my credits are going or whether the charges are accurate. Please provide a detailed history of my credit usage and payments, including the dates, amounts purchased, credits consumed, and the requests or actions responsible for those charges. I need this information to understand and verify how my credits were used.I would also appreciate an explanation of why my additional 2,000 credits appear to have been de

Manually reordering values by dragging them into position becomes tedious when a property contains a long list of names. As new values are added, keeping the list organized requires more manual adjustments. Unsorted dropdowns also make it harder to find the right value when using a component.Proposed solutionAdd a “Sort A–Z” action in the variant property editor to sort all its values in one click. This order should also be reflected in the property dropdown when selecting an instance of the component. An optional “Keep values sorted alphabetically” setting would also be helpful, so new values are automatically placed in the correct position. This would save time when maintaining component libraries and make long dropdown lists easier to navigate.

I work in Figma to create analytical reports containing mostly text, but also images and tables, each report is 20+ pages long and each export results in a 30+MB file size. I need to have the file under 5MB ideally, as the reports are shared with clients. The images I use are quite small size and I’ve tried some plug ins but it’s still an issue - any advice would be appreciated!

I was trying to create a simple plugin with the Figma Agent after having viewed your tutorial on how to create generative plugins with the Figma Agent. Unfortunately I lost total 2500+ AI credits, i.e. I had balance of 3242 AI credits before giving the prompt for creating the plugin. After 3 unsuccessful attempts by the Agent (each time the generated Plugin threw up errors which did not make sense, but still consumed a lot of AI) each generated version never gave me a proper output wherein I could use the plaugin. My AI balance reduced from 3242 to 690, which is a total of 2,552 credits being used for an output plugin which is a complete waste of time & credits. I request the support team to please look into this issue, and reverse my AI credits balance. Thanks & Regards,Andrews

Hi Figma team,Is there any way to switch back to the previous version of “Edit with prompt”?After the recent update, I noticed that two important features from the previous experience are no longer available:I can no longer add an existing image directly from the canvas as a reference. My previous prompt is no longer retained or displayed when I reopen the editor. Both features were essential to my workflow. I now have to add reference images again and rewrite my prompt every time, making the image-editing process significantly slower and more frustrating. At minimum, the new version should support:Adding existing canvas images directly as references; Retaining and displaying the most recent prompt; Allowing users to switch between the previous and current editing experiences. If there is already a way to access these features, could you please let me know where to find them? Otherwise, please consider restoring them or providing an option to switch back to the previous experience.Honestl

I have 3 libraries. One is a component library, second is more complex components, and the third is page templates. I have separate design files that I import any changes from the libraries. The design files are where the prototype interactions live. The problem i have is that some of the interactions on specific components will consistently disappear every time i update the design file from any of the three libraries. Some component interactions will only sometimes disappear after an update. And some will always remain. Why is that?
