After the new update my thumbnails became smaller for FigJam files. Do you have any idea about this bug or smth?

When trying to delete a mode of a color variable, Figma freezes. This issue occurs in both the desktop app and the web version. I have tried everything to resolve this issue and also contacted the support team. Their response was: “Please rest assured that our engineering team is dedicated to resolving this issue as quickly as possible. We are committed to keeping you updated throughout the process and will provide new information as soon as it becomes available. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding—we will make sure you are informed every step of the way.” However, I urgently need a solution. I am unable to use this design system library with the business plan. I have no idea when this will be fixed. I saw a user report the same issue four months ago, and it seems like nothing has changed since then.I need an immediate solution—this is blocking my workflow!  

I have a question about short-term access in Figma, especially regarding the new billing model. I've been using Figma for quite a long time but has never wondered this.I'm currently on Professional plan. Can anyone help me answer these questions?When there's no available seat, whenever I upgrade an account in a team to a Paid seat, I'll then buy a Paid seat for the whole team, not that account only, right? So if I just want to grand a short-term access for less than a month, I'll have to pay for that seat for its duration from the purchase date to the end of the billing cycle, or the date I remove the account from the seat, or for I'll have to pay for the whole month? There's 2 other scenarios: What if I remove the account from the seat before the end of the billing cycle: let's say the cycle ends on the 30th, and I assign the account to the seat from the 10th to 20th? Hi! I’m working on a prototype in Figma and could really use some help with two things:1. Clickable avatars with visible selection stateI’ve set up a screen where users can choose an avatar, and that choice correctly shows up later on the profile screen — so that part works!The problem: I want to visually indicate which avatar was selected (like showing a border around the chosen one, or lowering the opacity of the others). But the component already uses a variable to define which avatar is shown on the profile, so I can't figure out how to also show a visual selection state in the avatar grid at the same time.2. Showing typed name on profileI have a text input field where users can enter their name. Hi, Today I noticed that viewers were unable to copy from some files. However, when I toggle the checkbox, Figma doesn’t save the change. After a while, it reverts to untoggled. Some of my files belong to a published library and do not have an owner.

Hi Figma Community! Basically, I have a bunch of one size icons as variants in a component - they all have an auto layout frame applied to them. I want to use the icons throughout my design, but in different sizes. However, I don’t want to create varying sizes within the main component, as there would be too many icons and it would look messy. So what I normally do is: Create another test component using the icon with another element (for example, with a CTA here) Scale the icon using the scale tool (larger as an example here) Then instance swap it and it usually adheres to the new scaled size that I give it. However, recently, this method hasn’t been working and the instance just retains the same size as its original parent varient. *As a note, the icon starts scaling properly if I detatch the instance. Which ideally I don’t want to be doing, as I may have changes to the test component that I need reflected throughout the file. Can anyone assist in finding why this is, that would be

As the Screen recording shows, I cannot change color in part of the instance, not matter if it’s linked to a variable, or detached. It can only be changed via its master component. 

I am trying to apply for the educational plan. However, when I click on https://www.figma.com/education/apply, it shows me “you’re in” and “go to Figma” instead of application also the plan doesn’t change. I emailed support@figma.com, and they replied by stating that I should ask here in the community forum. Please help me out. For your reference I have attached the screen.

Hello, I have 2 questions:first, if I need to create an interaction to a particular destination page, it won’t let me until I do create ‘create component’ for an object and choose it. Is there a way that I can make the destination is the whole page?second, the prototype doesn’t show the whole screen for my design and doesn’t allow roaming between the  interactions I created freely . Am I doing something wrong?I included what I mean in the 2 screenshots below. Thank you in advance. 

I’m sending you this ticket because since the last update of Figma, I can’t use the desktop application on my macOS with Mojave operating system, and I don’t want to update it to the next version. Since I’ve been paying my subscription for years, I believe I have the right to have a desktop version of Figma that I can use from my work computer. Hi All, In the Figjam UI, if you double click on an arrow, you have the ability to add text to the Connector that stays attached to the Connector. Like this below.  There HAS to be a way to do this via API; we could not find any properties that sounded like it would create the arrow-embedded-text like the screenshot above. Does this feature exist?  Thank you!

My files were gone last night and I really need them. They were drafts and my account is a starter in Figma. Now when I enter the link, it shows me this and I am the creator.

I recently started my Figma journey and learnt about vertical scrolling. I managed to get it to work to scroll down, as in swiping upwards, there will be more information below replacing the information at the top. However, I had an idea that needed the user to be able to scroll up, as in there’s more information above, and said information will replace the information that will be pushed down and out of the screen.  I tried to do it, but the frame didn’t cover the top section of my information, and merely pushed it out of the main frame, so I was wondering if it’s possible or I’m just wasting my time trying. Thanks for the help in advance.

I’m trying to add corner radius to the text box. I added auto layout but by somehow I cant manage to find the Corner Radius.

I made a variant where you can toggle on and off a checkmark. The component has auto alignment so that the text and the checkmark are spaced apart, but when I hide the checkmark, the text centers. Is there any way to keep my text right aligned when I toggle off the checkmark?  Thanks for the help! My components:  

Hello,We signed up for a one-year "Design Seat" (Professional Plan) subscription on September 27, 2024. We now want to upgrade to the Organization Plan with a "Full Seat" to access some features we need.During the upgrade process, we noticed that the 12-month charge reflects the full cost of the new Organization Plan, not including the import fee we've already paid for 12 months since September for the current Professional Plan (Still 5 months already paid). Is it possible to reduce the upgrade fee? We'd rather not lose the value of our current subscription just by upgrading to a higher-tier plan, and we can't wait until September to finalize our current annual subscription.PS: We tried to communicate with support and sales 6 days ago and still no response at all to escalate our requirement.

How to hide the section labels like "Alignment", "Position", "Rotation", etc., which are small tool section headers inside the right-hand panel in Figma’s UI.

Hello,I’m part of my company’s IT team. We have Figma setup in our Okta instance with SCIM provisioning.We followed the steps in https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/articles/22773906477591-Manage-seats-via-SCIM-using-Okta and made Okta user groups that each are assigned the unique user type laid out. However, any new Figma user that is provisioned to Figma is added to the org as a Viewer. Why is this happening?
