This question was posted a while back, and never answered. I’m having the same issue. I’ve created a component with 3 variants. From within a variant, I want to navigate to another frame in my prototype. But, this isn’t working. Any tips? Or, maybe this can’t be done?

However, when I click on https://www.figma.com/education/apply, it shows me “you’re in” and “go to Figma” instead of application also the plan doesn’t change. I emailed support@figma.com, and they replied by stating that I should ask here in the community forum. Please help me out. For your reference I have attached the screen.
Hello: I have been struggling to make this work all day with no luck… basically I am making a filterable table with vehicle information. I have figured out how to make lines of data for each different vehilce by utilizing modes, howver I can’t figure out how to affect more than one mode at once. For example: the first column in this table is a simple check box. I am trying to utilize a “select/deselect all” checkbox on the top of the table, but I am only able to get it to select the default mode and check the first line, or change modes and change the line associated with that particular mode. I forsee this being an issue in future filters as well, as I will be selecting criteria to toggle the visibility of lines on and off. Here are some images to help explain where I’m at: Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
Hi guys, Use components from a lib by assets or by master document of the lib? What are the problems when using a child component generated from the parent component (master) of a master lib and manually inserted into the archive design HOME? I created this tooltip box (union of a rectangle and triangle). It’s set so that the text width adjusts according to the width of the tooltip box. I also want the size of the box to be adjustable, but am coming across 2 issues:Box height isn’t changing to accommodate the text line number increasing Triangle pointer doesn’t maintain same width I’m not sure what settings are needed to fix this. This is what I have currently:Autolayout of whole component. The text itself is set to fill/hug.
Our team is noticing that our main design system library is having hundreds of changes flagged in the publishing panel, even after a weekend of not working on the library. The panel shows what’s modified, removed, or added, but isn’t clear what the changes are or what caused them. It’s scary publishing these types of updates because they aren’t coming from our team. Is this something being caused by Figma? How can we feel comfortable publishing so many changes when we weren’t even the ones making them?

I am encountering a bug where the nested animation inside a component stops in the middle when variant state is changed using variables. Can anyone from Figma team help? Steps to reproduce: Step1: Lets say a component named X has 3 variants(named alpha, beta and gamma) out of which one variant(alpha) has an animation (animated using a nested component named Y). Step 2: A local string variable(StringVar) is created and the value is set to one of the component X’s variant names eg:‘alpha’. Step 3: Drag a child component of component X onto canvas and link the state to the local string variable created above. Step 4: Create two buttons labeled betaBTN and gammaBTN with mouseenter and mouseleave interactions. So on mouseenter, the local variable StringVar is set to variant names (beta or gamma) based on the buttons(betaBTN or gammaBTN) the mouse is moved over. This works well so far. The issue is with the mouseleave trigger which is set to the animated variant (alpha) so when mouse is outs

In the old permissions, you can the ability to see if a person had view permissions for a specific file, now you cannot. I would go through and proactively invite people who had a single file permission to the team so that we don’t have to piecemeal provide permissions. With the new permissions wether a person has access to view a single file, or all the files on the team, they have a “View” seat type. I need a way to see who is only viewing a file vs viewing all things on the team.
