Submitted Basalt on March 15, still pending. Plugin exports Figma variables to Git as DTCG tokens. Any status update?

Hi Figma Support Team,I accidentally deleted one of my Figma files, and it was also removed from the Trash, but I wanted to check if it is possible to restore it from your server-side backups.As unfortunately by mistake it was clicked- ‘ permanently delete’ from trash.Here are the details: File Name: Untitled or Untitled 2 Date & Time When File Was Deleted: 17 April 2026 around 10PM SAST  This file is very important for my ongoing project.Please let me know if there's any chance to recover it.Waiting for team figma to get back me as soon as possible with recover my file link.

I can’t see the button to make design edition manually. I made a Figma reset due to it wasn’t working correctly and now the button is missing. 

I can do that, but I still can’t see the Figma design contents from the link in this environment. Please send one of these so I can recreate it accurately:

Every new project in Figma Make now asks me to to save a gitkeep file. I assume this is a bug? Since when should designers be responsible for managing these production-level files?

After updating Claude Desktop to the latest version (April 14, 2026), the Figma MCP extension (v1.0.4) starts successfully but never responds to tool calls. The server initializes, lists tools, and then times out on every subsequent request. Hovering over a bound variable used to show its resolved value and description, but that’s no longer happening. Now the tooltip doesn’t appear.This was working fine before, so it feels like something broke in a recent update. Seeing it across different files.Makes it harder to quickly inspect variables without digging around.Would appreciate confirmation if this is a known issue or an unintended regression.

I have a vector graphic that consist of 40 “rectangles” arranged in an arch. “Rectangles” are slightly arched too, they don’t have straight lines. When I select that arched graphic with other graphics and use Wrap in New Section command, the graphic gets messed up, top-left points stay where they were, but other points move horizontally about 12px. Attached is a screenshot of the before and after states of the graphic: If I create a section, then move the graphic into it, the drawing stays as it should be.

Hi,I’m experiencing some issues with Figma slots. Elements placed in slots automatically resize over time, which breaks the layout. However, when I click on those slots, they resize again and revert to the expected behavior.This creates extra work for our team, as we need to frequently click on slot elements to prevent them from breaking.We appreciate the new slot feature since it makes the components more flexible to use! Y’all, how can I connect Stripe, so my desktop app made with Figma Make can collect payment? Is it even possible? I have wasted an entire month of credits prompting, time watching videos, and even more time on Code Mentoring sites looking for help to try to figure out how to get this app to accept a payment. I dont want to leave Figma, but I fear this is my only recourse, if I want to collect payment for this app. I am sure, I am missing something but I cannot figure out what/

While building a site in the new Figma Site, I ran into a typography issue:When I use a typography variable with different font sizes for Desktop, Tablet, and Mobile, the correct value shows only if I apply the variable directly to the text layer.But if I use the same variable inside a text style, the published site doesn’t respond to modes — it just shows the default (Desktop) size, even on smaller viewports.This seems like a limitation or bug in how Figma Site handles mode-based variables inside styles.Would love to know if this is expected behaviour or still under development. It’s been a few days since the table row component I had created started having issues. Both in the canvas—when it renders, it sometimes changes the fixed sizes I had set to other random fixed sizes—and sometimes, when you double-click down to the slot layer, it automatically fixes itself.Sizes inside slots break automatically.Here, for example, I had a fixed size of 255, and out of nowhere Figma changes it to 612.And there’s also another bug when I’m in the navigable prototype preview mode, where this behavior is reproduced even though it’s already correct on the canvas—for example, when triggering the while hovering interaction, it fixes its

We recently paid a design team to build a Figma for us. When they were done, they transferred ownership of the file to us.However when we open the file, it stated we only have view access, and to request access from the admin in order to edit / use dev mode. Yesterday, I used the Figma Slides export option with no problem. Today the option is greyed out for all Figma Slide decks. I can no longer export the deck, I’ve checked with my teammates and they have the same problem. Please help, as it is an important part of our work and should be included in our business plan. 

Hi, My Figma Make is not working properly. After revising my prompts, the preview shows the updated version correctly, but the actual design file does not reflect any changes. I’ve already tried the following:  Refreshing the file Logging out and logging back in Duplicating the file and continuing from the duplicate  However, the issue still persists. Could you please help me resolve this asap? I’m currently using credits on the prompt but not seeing any results.

There is a complete lack of synchronization between changes to the workspace in Figma and Figma Mirror. Figma Mirror's search shows PIN'ed files that were deleted long ago, file covers don't update, which significantly complicates navigation, and there's no synchronization between the mobile app and desktop. I have the impression that I'm the only one using your apps, because apparently no one else encounters this problem, or encounters it constantly and turns a blind eye. Please solve the underlying problem with your app.

Even after downgrading my subscription and sending multiple follow-up requests to cancel - without any response from a real person. I’ve been forced to dispute the charges with my credit card company. Logged a support ticket to no avail, this needs to be resolved.

I'm experiencing a problem with the font size not rendering as expected.

Hi, when I have many document tabs open I am unable to select the Figma window itself. I need to select the Figma window title bar to move the window but when there are many tabs open it prevents me from selecting the title bar. I am forced to choose which documents to close and sometimes all of them are important. Please fix so that part of the title bar is always selectable regardless of how many documents are open
