Hi! During the opening keynote at Schema 2025 (on October 28), the Figma team announced a new left navbar as part of the updated UI, mentioning it would start rolling out the following week.It’s been a few weeks since then, and I’ve already received an app update, but I still don’t see that new sidebar.Is the rollout still in progress, or is there something I need to do to enable it? I have updated Figma a while ago and I still can’t see the new left panel navigation. My colleague in the same organization does have it working. I have reinstalled, reloaded, tried in the browser and I do not see this feature anywhere.See screenshot for version number and missing left menu.  

When trying to open the Code Connect UI, i only see the Publish Library button, not the “Library >” menu as is stated in https://developers.figma.com/docs/code-connect/code-connect-ui-setup/. We have already published this library. Why can’t i access the Code Connect option? There are some naming conflicts in a few of the components which need resolving, but i don’t see why this should stop me applying code connect to the remaining components? Any suggestions why i cannot see the Code Connect UI option?  

Hi Figma Support, I accidentally upgraded the wrong team to the Professional plan today and submitted a support request for a refund. This was a mistaken upgrade, and I do not intend to use the Professional plan under this team. I have already taken action to prevent future charges and I plan to subscribe again under the correct team once this issue is resolved. However, I have not received a confirmation email or ticket number, so I’m worried that my support request may not have been received successfully. Could someone from Figma Support please help check whether my request was received, or help escalate this billing issue? This is urgent because it involves an accidental paid subscription and I would like to resolve it as soon as possible before subscribing under the correct team. Thank you.2

Today, profile avatars in Figma account settings only display as static images. The Help Center states that GIF uploads are converted to a static image. There is no supported way to use an animated avatar in collaboration surfaces (multiplayer cursors, comments, Community profile, FigJam stamps, etc.).Other design tools in the same market already support animated profile avatars (for example, MasterGo supports APNG for dynamic avatars). I started experiencing the issue this week. I’m reviewing a design I made previously using slots and components we have since forever. The horizontal size of the table cells are setting to random values even after fixing it manually. I manually set the cell size but after a while it sets to something completely random. I experienced something similar before, but the instances go back to normal after clicking on them, this issue is not solved by just clicking on them. I’m I doing something wrong? does anybody experience the same?   

Estaba actualizando unos textos en mi proyecto de Figma Make y de la nada me eliminó absolutamente todo lo que ya había desarrollado, además no me deja volver a versiones anteriores, practicamente se perdió todo el desarrollo de 3 meses que estuve trabajando. 

I am facing a weird issue while installing desktop version, when I click on install button and it completes the process successfully but I can’t start Figma app or locate it anywhere on my PC.Even after checking the destination folder I could see FigmaAgent but clicking on that doesn’t help me run at all 

Hey everyone! I have a question about component variant switching and text strings. I’m trying to build a link sidebar, I made component variants for it (title, subtitle, active subtitle). When I use this components in my design and fill in appropriate link names, then switch a single link to an active variant, it switched the text to component’s text, not the one I entered.How can I go about it to prevent it from switching?Creative text variables is not really viable because that’d be a lot and not useful imo. Here is the example:BeforeAfter:

Hello,I contacted support previously regarding a refund request and cancellation of my Professional plan. Hello Figma and Support Team, I made a mistake when trying to add new members to my Professional team and need your help please. I already have one Professional Plan team (on an annual subscription), and wanted to buy an additional 8 seats within this plan. However, instead of adding a seat to my existing team, I mistakenly purchased brand new, separate Professional plans (also on an annual subscription). This means I am now paying for 9 independent subscriptions for the same team, and none of them can edit team projects. Hello,Our latest invoice seems to have an incorrect total.The “Billing adjustments” item is $19.53. We use 1 full seat + 1 developer seat, and last month we added 1 more full seat. The adjustment should only reflect that new seat, but it looks like it may have been charged nearly twice.I believe the total should be about $20 lower.I already contacted support but have not received any response for more than 3 days. Because I need it to solve and send proper invoice to our accountant, I tried to issue it to sales team, but ticket was closed without any comment and comments are disabled. If I start chat with “AI agent”, it’s response is more than useless (it it asking for the information I already write or offer might to add memo to my invoice). Jiri Kala

My Figma account suddenly got suspended, and it contains extremely critical client files and ongoing work. I’m very anxious, and If I can’t recover the files on time, my client may charge me a very heavy penalty.I’ve already opened support ticket #1914447. Hello all,I am creating a scroll story. I currently have my main landing page and on it has mobile version or desktop version. Ideally, I would love for the user to click on desktop and it navigates to the desktop version (1440x1024) or if they choose their mobile, then it navigates to a mobile version (440x956). Is it possible to have it all laid out and consolidated in one project?
