Draft files missing from personal account (not in Trash)

I’m using a personal Figma account (no teams, no collaborators). At least 5 files that were previously in Drafts are now missing.

Details:

  • The files were Drafts, not in any project
  • They are not in Trash
  • They are not searchable
  • I did not delete, move, or transfer them
  • This appears to have happened without any user action

I’ve also exhausted all available troubleshooting steps, including searching across my account and working through the AI support chat, which was unfortunately unable to locate or explain the issue.

 

Because these were Draft files, I’m concerned they may have become orphaned, detached from my account ID, or affected by a Draft indexing issue or backend cleanup.


Could you please:

  • Check for orphaned or detached Draft files associated with my account
  • Verify whether these files still exist under my user ID
  • Let me know whether recovery or reattachment is possible

I can provide approximate file names, creation dates, or direct links if helpful.

 

This issue seems to be the same as reported here and here.
