I can’t figure out how to change the layout of an existing slide in Figma Slides. When creating a new slide, I can choose a layout from the theme, but once the slide is added, I can’t find a way to switch it to a different layout.Am I missing something? Often, I realize later that a different layout would work better and want to apply one of the theme’s template layouts to an existing slide—but I don’t see an option to do that. The only option I can find is “Template Style,” which seems to change only text styles and colors, not the layout itself.Is there a way to reapply or change slide layouts after a slide has been created?

I opened a ticket 3 weeks ago for downgrading my plan before the renewal on 27/02/2026 and I’m not able to speak with anyone for help.  And seems like I can only do it with the help of an assistant. Could you please reply to my tickets asap? Otherwise I will need to cancel definitively all my plan.

as title, I’m trying to use my published library in a Figma Make project, but the export for Figma Make dialog does not pop up. Also when I click Import From Figma in Make, it does nothing. Tried closing the app and reopen but still the same. I’m on a pro education plan. Is this feature available for me? thank you

What is the timeline for adding a parent/child page structure to URLs within Figma Sites?For example:website.com/city/thursday-nights/concert-series/band-name/Right now, the product supports one slug deep. Obviously “flat silo” URLs can work, but we need to be able to nest URLs as child pages. What is the roadmap and timeline for rolling out dedicated URL structure?

Hello, this is my first time using Figma and i’ve been trying to redeem my student benefit. I am in no way trying to exploit the system but it just wouldn’t work and the email that i got from Sheer ID is rather not usefull, i feel angry because the link that they send via email as the last step for verification just wouldnt work on my end. Now will emailing sheer id even work anymore?  

Hi, this issue reproduces again, no xlsx files are working now. Even ones that does not contain photos.It is just “Failed to import file” error with no clarification at all…Just yesterday it worked and now this.. I created a component, with some variant and properties.This component is then used in a Buzz template. This is then used to create social media assets.  When I first copy-past the component into the Buzz template file, the properties are here (all of them), and as soon as I publish the templates, they di (see attached screenshots).Also, the nested properties work perfectly.This is weird, is there anything I’m doing wrong, I don’t get it.And I also noticed, that basically I cannot add Variant properties in a Buzz file, it just doesn’t work. Maybe there is a bug on and that is why it removes my orignal properties ?  

Hi there! I have a problem. I cant enter in my work file and im very up set. Please help me to devide this problem. When i try to open my file spiner is go around and nothing more to happens.  I’m trying to make a table with these parameters:4 columns Individual cells in columns 1–3 (like “expected shipment date”, expected delivery date”...) The table has to stretch horizontally proportionally with content always staying in its columns Columns 1–3 are grouped with the borderI don’t see how this is achievable in an adequate way. The way I did it now is having a second table underneath just for borders for columns 1–3 (“table 2” layer). With one layer it’s only possible to:Sacrifice grouping columns 1–3, then each cell will have it’s own border. Sacrifice stretching, then you can just adjust the cell’s border. Group columns 1–3 and use auto-stretching auto layout inside, but columns won’t stretch proportionally.Do you see any way to achieve that?The table“Table 1” layer (with content and individual cells)“Table 2” layer (with the border 1–3 columns border)Also attached the recording of how it’s stretching. It’s working, but like I said the second layer adds complications.

In the Figma mac app I have a Make file that will not display changes to a specific page (code file). If I publish and then go view it at the url the changes are there. I also tried viewing the Make file in the browser but it still did not show the changes. If I alter the code in code view and come back the change is there, but the preview still doesn’t show the change.I tried refreshing the tab. Closing the file and reopening it.I tried going to Help > Troubleshooting > Reset Figma and Restart but it did not correct the issue.I also tried manually clearing the cacheQuit the Figma desktop app Open Terminal.app and enter the following command: rm -rf "$HOME/Library/Application Support/Figma" Open the desktop app againThe AI in Figma Make was just as confused as I was about the situation 😆Any help solving this so I don’t have to Publish after every change and view it in the browser would be appreciated.

hi there a few minutes ago I upgraded my account from free to professional / dev seat / one month payment specifically to be able to use this mode.  the team settings shows it is ok:  although, it is strange it shows last active 4 month ago, weird, I am using Figma being logged in everyday If I go to this design  and try to switch to dev mode at bottom, it tells me I still need to update. please resolve

Usually when I do quick mockup-designs, I tend to select multiple layers → hit enter to get to a child-layer → and press tab or shift+tab to make a specific multi-select of many layers (for example changing the opacity of a group within a card without affecting the rest of the card).Now, whenever I select multiple layers, hit enter and start tabbing - it just selects the first child of the last item in my selection, and deselects all other selections.Is this a purposeful change or a bug? I reloaded the tab, and restarted the program - issue persists.

I had figma free education plan which i applied for now they emailed me to re-verify by september 29 or I'll lose those pro features now I joined figma recently a month back i have re-applied for verification but they say i have exceeded limit for verification or availed this offer. I have no clue how to solve this i have contacted Sheer Id support team too.

Hi everyone,I used to copy an image (Ctrl+C from browser or local folder) and then paste it (Ctrl+V) directly into an image component in Figma - like for cards or avatar images - and it would automatically replace the image.But recently, this no longer works. When I try pasting, nothing happens. Now Figma only shows options like “Upload from computer” or “Make an image” (screenshot attached).I’m wondering: is this a recent change or bug in Figma?Is there still a way to paste an image directly into a component without having to upload it manually?Thanks in advance!  

Why does the slice tool move everything out of the way instead of sitting on top of what you want to slice? It does this even if I’m on the top frame. Coming from adobe I’m completely lost as to why this functions like this. The goal here is to get half of a section exported. Is there another way to do this?
