Hey there.

I have two accounts in Figma, One is organizational and one is personal (this one is my personal account). So When I try to login in Forum, I expect it to ask me which account do I prefer to login. I usually check Forum with my personal account. But when I try to login, Forum automatically choose my last login session (which was my work account). clear cash and log out didn’t work, so I used incognito mode to force Forum to ask me for email address again. I know it’s not an important issue but it frustrates me every time!

I can understand that, @Armin_Rouhanian. After my other reply I was talking about this with someone else and they mentioned you could also use profiles in Chrome. It’s not the same as an actual “switcher” in Figma like you are talking about, but it at least works the same in that you can just switch to a different profile in Chrome and have that using a different Figma login. Thanks again for brining it up - it’s always good to get feedback on how we can best support our customers.

Hi, @Armin_Rouhanian!

Having used services myself where I had more than one account, I can understand how this is frustrating when you want to use two different accounts with services that have single-sign-on authentication. It might not seem important compared to other things, but it becomes important for you because it interrupts you in an unexpected way.

Anyway, have you thought about using a second browser for the forum? If you use Chrome for day-to-day work with your organization, you could log into your personal account in FireFox and only use the forum in that browser. You could still log into one account or the other in Chrome, but it should keep things a little simpler as far as which account you are using with the forum. It’s not a perfect solution, but it might help avoid that jarring feeling when you realize you need to switch accounts.

Hey There @adamsmasher, thank you for responding me. Yes I am currently using different browser for forum. But the same logic you mentioned can work for Figma itself. If everyone were ok using different browsers (or apps), then why Figma gave us switching account in the first place? All I’m saying is either Figma should have switching account in all other sub-services, or not having it at all.

I can understand that maybe the original service (Gainsight) may not support such feature for their own reasons. But yet, I decided to share this & take my shot.
