Hey @Ali K, thanks for reaching out!
Navigation usability testing is such a valuable part of the design process, so I’d be happy to help make sure you can get this set it up just right. Please note that Figma Make prototypes open to the default page by default. There isn't a built-in way to deep-link directly to a specific page or route when sharing the prototype URL. This is a known limitation, unlike Figma prototypes (which do support flows and choosing the starting frame links).
Here are a couple of recommendations that may help as a temporary solution in the meantime:
1. Prompt Make to add a starting route
- You can ask Make to add a specific route or path to your prototype URL (e.g., /settings or /dashboard). If your prototype is built with client-side routing, prompting Make to support URL-based navigation may allow you to share links like yourapp.figma.site/dashboard that land participants on the right page.
2. Create separate published versions
- If the pages are distinct enough, you could duplicate the Make file and set each version's default landing page differently, then share the relevant link per test participant.
That said, your use case is a great one to flag for the team as a feature request, so I’ve updated your topic to Suggest a Feature. The ability to share a Make prototype with a specific starting page would be incredibly useful for testing, so I'll make sure this gets passed along to the Figma Make team.
