Hello,I just want to ask about the steps to sell on Figma community, when I start publishing the checkbox “sell this resource on community” is disabled, any ideas?

Just like  i can Show/Hide Comments .. I wanna be able to do the same thing with the new features Annotation & Measurement 

As the Screen recording shows, I cannot change color in part of the instance, not matter if it’s linked to a variable, or detached. It can only be changed via its master component. 

I am trying to apply for the educational plan. However, when I click on https://www.figma.com/education/apply, it shows me “you’re in” and “go to Figma” instead of application also the plan doesn’t change. I emailed support@figma.com, and they replied by stating that I should ask here in the community forum. Please help me out. For your reference I have attached the screen.

Hello, I have 2 questions:first, if I need to create an interaction to a particular destination page, it won’t let me until I do create ‘create component’ for an object and choose it. Is there a way that I can make the destination is the whole page?second, the prototype doesn’t show the whole screen for my design and doesn’t allow roaming between the  interactions I created freely . Am I doing something wrong?I included what I mean in the 2 screenshots below. Thank you in advance. 

I’m sending you this ticket because since the last update of Figma, I can’t use the desktop application on my macOS with Mojave operating system, and I don’t want to update it to the next version. Since I’ve been paying my subscription for years, I believe I have the right to have a desktop version of Figma that I can use from my work computer. Please, I’m looking forward to your response to provide me with a solution. Thanks a lot

Hi All, In the Figjam UI, if you double click on an arrow, you have the ability to add text to the Connector that stays attached to the Connector. Like this below.  There HAS to be a way to do this via API; we could not find any properties that sounded like it would create the arrow-embedded-text like the screenshot above. Does this feature exist?  Thank you!

My files were gone last night and I really need them. They were drafts and my account is a starter in Figma. Now when I enter the link, it shows me this and I am the creator.

I recently started my Figma journey and learnt about vertical scrolling. I managed to get it to work to scroll down, as in swiping upwards, there will be more information below replacing the information at the top. However, I had an idea that needed the user to be able to scroll up, as in there’s more information above, and said information will replace the information that will be pushed down and out of the screen.  I tried to do it, but the frame didn’t cover the top section of my information, and merely pushed it out of the main frame, so I was wondering if it’s possible or I’m just wasting my time trying. Thanks for the help in advance.

I’m trying to add corner radius to the text box. I added auto layout but by somehow I cant manage to find the Corner Radius.

I made a variant where you can toggle on and off a checkmark. The component has auto alignment so that the text and the checkmark are spaced apart, but when I hide the checkmark, the text centers. Is there any way to keep my text right aligned when I toggle off the checkmark?  Thanks for the help! My components:  

Hello,We signed up for a one-year "Design Seat" (Professional Plan) subscription on September 27, 2024. We now want to upgrade to the Organization Plan with a "Full Seat" to access some features we need.During the upgrade process, we noticed that the 12-month charge reflects the full cost of the new Organization Plan, not including the import fee we've already paid for 12 months since September for the current Professional Plan (Still 5 months already paid). Is it possible to reduce the upgrade fee? We'd rather not lose the value of our current subscription just by upgrading to a higher-tier plan, and we can't wait until September to finalize our current annual subscription.PS: We tried to communicate with support and sales 6 days ago and still no response at all to escalate our requirement.

How to hide the section labels like "Alignment", "Position", "Rotation", etc., which are small tool section headers inside the right-hand panel in Figma’s UI.

Hello,I’m part of my company’s IT team. We have Figma setup in our Okta instance with SCIM provisioning.We followed the steps in https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/articles/22773906477591-Manage-seats-via-SCIM-using-Okta and made Okta user groups that each are assigned the unique user type laid out. However, any new Figma user that is provisioned to Figma is added to the org as a Viewer. Why is this happening?

While onboarding at a new company, I rely heavily on the structure that assets/components have. In UI3 there is no structure of the assets, just a long list of all the components 😱.How am I supposed to find anything now the structure is totally gone. Am I missing something? Do I have a setting wrong? Considering we will be forced to work with UI3 in 2 days, I have to solve this issue now. I understand changes are hard for every user (maybe more so for designers), and I’m trying to adapt, but its a struggle if things don’t work properly. Lost all of my speed in designing. It’s a pretty big issue in general. Anyway if we can solve this assets issue that would be great.  

I want to add an external developer from another company to a project of ours. He doesn’t have an account and I want to give him the dev seat, but I’m worried that If I pay for a dev seat on my professional plan, he can view all other projects which I dont want to.Is possible to give him access to specific files of a project with that dev seat and at the same time, he only can see these files and nothing else?THanks

Styles and variables are being listed only if “All libraries” option is selected. When I select a library it spins forever. Even if I create and publish a new library and go to a new file, nothing changes. Anyone having this? This started with last update I guess.

Hello!) Currently I can’t invite the user to my Figma team providing him the devmode - only view or edit. It’s inconvenient (or maybe it’s hidden somewhere, so I can’t find this)

I manage a large-scale multi-brand design system The setup is pretty large - albeit standard IMHO 1000+ text styles - where all text style properties are variable-based. Duplicating styles individually/manually is straightforward, however, at this scale, it is prohibitive. There are a few methods (cut/paste to another file) and plugins to help workflow in duplicating text styles without variables, but they don’t support/maintain variables. Any thoughts on how to do this with Variable-based text styles? Use case: We already have 3 font variables per brand: “Body”, “Brand”, “Marketing”. We want to add a “Serif” font (in variables) for each brand, by cloning (for example) the “Brand” version/tree of the text styles across all sizes/styles and applying “Serif” font variables. hi there, I’m getting the following error message when linking a Figma section in Jira under ‘add design’. The error occurs with my new company Figma account and didn’t/doesn’t happen when copying a section from my private Figma account into the same Jira ticket… so I guess the error is coming from Figma.
