I can't verify student plan

Hi, I am a student and I am unable to verify my student plan. 

The message I struggle with:

Verification Limit Exceeded

We're glad you're enthusiastic, but it looks like you've already redeemed or attempted to redeem this offer.

I also contacted with SheerID but they said “Please be advised that we're unable to process your verification request.”

Our team has fixed the issue with your verification, so you should be able to try applying again now.

We recommend clearing your browser cache and making sure you’re not connected to a VPN during the verification process.

Please also ensure that you apply using your school-issued email address (not a Gmail or personal email), and that you’re logged in to Figma using the same email address when you apply.

I understand  you’re running into issues verifying your education plan.

 

Since you’ve already contacted SheerID and they weren’t able to process your request, and while we can’t override SheerID’s decision, I’ll check with our internal team to see if there’s anything we can do on our end.

I’ll follow up here once I have an update.

I did reach out to sheerID support and in reply I got this

Hey ​@manuj , after checking internally with the Figma Education team, it looks like the verification attempt was made using a Gmail address. At the moment, we’re not able to verify Education status using personal email addresses.

To apply successfully, please make sure to use your school-issued email address when submitting your verification. For more information on the process, feel free to read our guide: Figma For Education.
