We are experiencing a critical issue affecting our team and our clients:Out of nowhere, when trying to edit a text layer, Figma suddenly shows a “Missing Font” warning. The file had been working perfectly for months — no changes were made to fonts, library, or system settings before the error appeared.When we relink the missing font to the correct local font, all connected text styles lose their hierarchy. Text reverts to default settings, and we have to manually reapply all styles across the entire file.Critical for us as a service provider because our clients rely on Figma’s stability for ongoing projects and working with libraries. Context: System: macOS, Figma Desktop App, latest version Fonts are correctly installed locally on all machines Figma Font Helper is running on all devices No changes to font versions or system configuration before the issue started Trigger: Simply selecting and editing text in a long-working file  Right now, we can only tell our client to not upd

We have about 60 teams in our organizational account. Basicly one team for every customer and all files under it. All our designers have access to most of the teams. We want to downgrade to professional and want to know how that would work in our case? Is it possible to solve it so every team becomes a project instead? So we end up with 1 team and 60 projects and all our files are kept? I cant find any detailed information on this… 

I’ve been on the Free plan and last I shared a prototype, I could do it without upgrading anything. This month, I decided to start with a Collab seat and when I tried the Share now, a window prompted to upgrade to a Full Seat.Is a Full Seat required now in order to share a prototype?

I started using Figma Make because it popped up and asked me to. I thought I’d build a simple swimlane workflow with minor interactive options to showcase a scenario of a migration from one platform to another. It pretty much nailed the layout at the start, which got me excited. But 4 days later - I want to scream, it’s so frustrating. Subsequent requests to get it to work correctly made it go into a loop of fail that it keeps repeating no matter what. I even linked it to the working version and it still can't get it right. After 100s of versions and a conversation 4 days long, I give up. So much for this portfolio piece I put so much effort into. The AI is just not very bright - at all. 

Hi!I have always used the free version of Figma and had no problem giving other people editing rights and collaborating on projects.Recently, I bought the pro plan to access dev mode. Now I don’t seem to be able to give anyone editing rights without paying for their seat.Is it true that as a pro user I can’t have people editing my file without paying for an extra seat? Or am I just doing something wrong?Thank you in advance!:)

I have a file that I published with components and variants that I’d like to use for multiple projects. When I include the library in another file all of the components appear, but when I change the variant (ie changing from ‘default’ to ‘hover’ state) the styling isn’t correct. How can I fix this?

Hey everyone! 👋I’m currently building my portfolio site with Figma Sites (loving it so far! 🎉), but I’m running into a GDPR question.I plan to add Google Analytics for basic traffic stats — which means I technically need a cookie consent modal for GDPR compliance (I’m in the EU).As far as I can see, Figma Sites doesn’t (yet) support any built-in cookie consent options.So my questions: How are others here handling cookie consent with Figma Sites? Is there any native solution planned? Have you successfully embedded 3rd party tools like CookieYes, Osano or others? Any tips or workarounds would be super appreciated! 🙏

Hi folks! I used some components from other files in my project, and even though I removed them, I still see some Variables available in the “Page → Modes”. They are not available anywhere else. It doesn’t affect the project; when I select one, change the page, and then return to it, that mode is selected. I checked my file, and nothing leads to the other file anymore – no styles, variables, components, etc. It seems like a bug, and I see some variables pulled from another file, but can I remove it somehow?

The built in UI-Kits don’t seem to allow for switching appearance modes anymore. when ever I try to switch to dark mode nothing happens. my personal libraries still work.

This what I keep getting after Iteration 273. I literally cannot do any other prompts!

My control button is not working in combo with my mouse, has anyone else seen this? I can do ctrl+c and open the color-picker, and I can do ctrl+cmd+m and make a mask, but if I want to ctrl+click something I can’t. So the ctrl button itself is fine, it’s just that combination that’s stopped working. And I didn’t notice how often I do this until I suddenly can’t, lol. I can right-click (using my mouse) fine, but it’s as if ctrl-click has gotten mapped to something else in Figma. And this is only in the Figma app - it works normally everywhere else, including Figma in a browser. 🤷 Anyone else done this before?

I am unable to find a solution to exporting the image so that it appears the same way as it does in Figma. If anyone knows why this is happening and how to solve the problem I would really appreciate the help. Screenshot: Exported Image Does Not Appear The Same As In Figma It may be worth noting… The original image (a png) had a small border around the black center part creating a kind of frame with a color I did not want (it was part of the image). I created a frame named “Crop” and used the “Clip Content” feature to remove it. The frame named “Dollar Sign” provides a different background color (949494) thus creating a kind of border or frame around the black center part that has the color I do want. The Image is nested inside the Crop frame and the Crop frame is nested inside the Dollar Sign frame. There is a property called “luminosity” being applied. Because of its purpose this was never meant to be very involved and the approach taken to achieving the outcome is pretty unimportan

I am a user in Chinese Mainland, and my computer system is Windows11. Now I have a bad problem. When exporting frame and export layer in figma, fonts and graphics in the exported image have stroke lines, as shown in the figure. This problem has been bothering me for a long time, and I am eager to know how to solve it. 

When I use Figma Sites, fonts in the build view looks fine.But when I use Preview, some fonts default to arial. I’m using the latest version of Figma Desktop for Mac. Authoring View - Montserrat Semi BoldPreview - Changes to Arial Bold The fonts are loaded on my system.

I’m logging with same e-mail address. I have different pp on https://help.figma.com/ and have different one on https://forum.figma.com/ . When I try to change on help.figma.com it says “The name, profile photo, phone, and email are set automatically. You can't change them here.” I’m not logging with google etc

I’ve been stuck on a prototyping issue and wondering if I could get some help. I have a “Share” dialog box with multiple tabs, and I want to keep a consistent background frame while switching between tabs and showing dropdowns.Right now, each dialog state is a separate instance outside the frame, which keeps things organized — but duplicating the background frame across all 16 states is making the file unnecessarily heavy.Is there a smart way to animate or switch between these dialog box states while maintaining a single, unified background frame? Ideally, I’d like to avoid duplicating elements just to preserve consistency.Appreciate any suggestions!

I don't know the best way to do this because I don't have much experience with scripting or image processing tools.I wish to:I have hundreds (or maybe thousands) of PNG files from a folder. I want to change their format (to JPG or WebP, for example), but also change their size at the same time.I want to keep the aspect ratio, but I also want to set a limit width or height (for example, make all images no wider than 800px).I've read that tools like Python (with PIL or Pillow), ImageMagick, or command-line utilities can help, but I'm not sure how to create the script or command correctly.Can you give me a step-by-step method or a script/command that can resize and convert a lot of PNG photos at once without losing quality or changing the aspect ratio?Thank you!

I’m not only one who facing the same issue but this getting really frustrated Figma randomly copies elements.The Select tool is buggyabout 20% of the elements can't be selected, even though they're not locked or hidden.  

Hi all,  I think it could be a bug or I am missing something?  Please, advise.  I have a component called Rectangle with 4 variants (2 for grey and 2 for black). I also have two pages where that component is used. Initial setup is here.  There is an interaction on variants On Click - Change to...  When I play a prototype and on Screen 1 change the Rectangle variant to “small” and then go to screen 2 - i see Rectangle Small variant there as well, which i am not supposed to as Figma handles instances and their variants independently. The web under development has become too slow in AI development. I think there are too many codes that have died of uselessness by adding and subtracting many functions. The user page has not slowed down much, but only AI development has slowed down, so is there a good way to improve this?
