Hi guys! i wanted to ask that I am a student and i was hoping to get the student discount but I am from india so my school doesn't provide with the student mail id. So, I emailed figma and asked them if i could provide with my report card, my transfer certificate, fee reciept, anything that could prove i am a Student but it's been 5 days since i mailed them but they haven't emailed back. Is there anything I could do to contect them or anything?

i had an account with a subscription that i lost the password to and anyway of retreiving it, how can i cancel this subscription, the gmail i believe is (redacted by the moderator due to PII)

We are sending team invitations to two email accounts, [redacted by forum admin/moderator to remove PII] and [redacted by forum admin/moderator to remove PII], but the invitation emails are not being received.We have checked the email management settings, including spam filters and blocked senders, and found no issues.Could you confirm whether this is an internal issue within Figma preventing the invitation emails from being sent?

Paragraph spacing does not work. In addition to the fact that the button has moved and is no longer in the general panel, any substituted value does not change the interval between paragraphs, there is no reaction to its manual change. Restarting does not help.

Hi everyone,I created a library with color variables, but when I publish the library, my colors don’t get published – they only appear under Hidden. They are not set as “Hidden from publishing,” so I don’t understand why they stay hidden. If I create new colors, they also appear under Hidden. I already tried duplicating my file, but the variables remain hidden. Also, when I copy a component into another file, I don’t get the message “pasted with unpublished variables.” I really don’t want to rebuild everything from scratch. Does anyone know what’s going on or how to fix this?Thanks a lot for your help!

I bought the collab seat for $3 on July 15th. I paid for it directly and got invoiced on 16th. On August 29th, I suddenly got charged with “recurring Professional team (monthly) subscription”. Mind you, I already cancel the subscription plans on early of august (around 1st - 10th of August). Now, I’m back to free account which : I can’t remove my card access Get support help Find my billing history Please help, $15 may not be a lot but it’s a huge number from my country… Why did I got charged twice? Can i get a payback?I did not consent to pay $15… I consent to pay $3 like it was offered in the beginning.

I’m trying to understand the process of sharing a Figma project file with another agency that I’m collaborating with. I’m a sole designer, working on my own professional plan. I don’t want to incur additional editing fees for someone needing to edit or work on my file. So, I want to understand how I can allow someone else the ability to edit or utilize my design without incurring additional costs to me personally. Is there no ability for someone outside of my plan who has a paid subscription of their own the ability to edit or use my project file without adding them to my account? How does someone go about sharing a project file without incurring costs personally?

The connecting lines between the main topic and its sub-topics in the mind map are deformed.When a main topic has too many sub-topics, the connecting lines get exaggeratedly bent and deformed, overlapping the text.This didn't happen with the previous version of the mind map. 

Our account admin (Louise Cassidy) has gone on maternity and so I need to take on the admin elements to both issue licences to new starters and also make sure that we have the right number of licences for the size of the organisation.Can you tell me how to go about this please?

Hi everyone, I am fairly new at using Figma and I am running into an interaction issue on a thumbnail image tile component with an active and hover state. I replace the image on each instance by pasting a different image under the fill option. It shows the correct image when I manually switch between active and hover states on a frame but as soon as I prototype this it will always show the hover state image of the master component. It doesn`t change anything if I add the “while hovering” interaction on the instance instead of the master component. Any idea how to solve this would be much appreciated.

When I created my educational plan with my school it was created ultil 2026 but today I have received an email informing that my education plan will expired in 4 weeks. Did you change the politics?

Hi, I’m trying to import some .fig files and am getting an “Internal error during import” message whenever I try to import them. I tried importing on both the desktop app and the browser version and get the same error each time. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Updating components doesn’t activate publish. I make an edit to component in a file shared as a library. Usually this activates the ability to publish changes. But that is not happening. Nothing happens. To activate this I have to make an arbitrary change to another component. Doing this activates the function and I can publish. However this does not activate the review function on any of the subscribing files. How can I fi this so that it works as consistently as promised? (UPDATE) There was an invalid property. A showstopping problem the Figma UI does a great job of camouflaging.

Hello! I’m trying to: make the screen scrollable vertically; and make the iPhone status bar and “scroll to top” arrow fixed stay in place I’ve managed to make the screen scrollable vertically, however, I’m having a hard time making the iPhone status bar and “scroll to top” arrow to be fixed. The “fixed stay in place” is disabled on my end. Please help me. I’m getting frustrated and can’t wrap my head about this 😦

Hi all. I have a couple of frames that have placed image in. I want to export as .svg format. I can see the image in the preview and on the preview of the .svg. But when I open the .svg in adobe illustrator the image isnt there and just should a blank box… Any ideas? It worked fine in sketch before.

Your Google Fonts in Figma Sites are not up to date. I have some upcoming client work I’m excited to show using Sites’ responsive features but the Google Fonts we’re working with in their brand aren’t showing in Figma, therefore they won’t display in preview. Can we push that update through? Thanks,H.

Each board is used by a teacher and one or more students.If we want to use the paid version of Figma (Professional or Organization), do we have to pay for each seat only for our teachers (i.e., our employees) or also for students?

I’m facing an issue with my plugin review process. I submitted my plugin on August 9, and since then it’s been stuck in review. For all my previous plugins, the review process usually took only 1–3 days, so this delay feels unusual. I tried reaching out to Figma via support@figma.com and content-reviews@figma.com, but unfortunately I haven’t received any response. Could someone from the Figma team please look into this? In my Figma mobile prototype, I have a bottom navigation bar set to ‘Fix position when scrolling’. It appears correctly in desktop prototype preview (with iPhone 14 device selected) but when I open the shared prototype link on my actual phone, the bar is not visible until I change it ‘scroll with parent’. How can I make it appear fixed and visible immediately on mobile?

Hi, I have lost an important file on Figma and I can’t find the file in any of my projects section or in the deleted section. It just disappeared completely and when I tried to access it through a past link, I am getting the following message: You can’t access this resource Contact the owner, an admin, or support for assistance. I’ve created a project and connected a custom domain. In the file settings, I’ve made sure to uncheck the “Exclude from search engine results” option.However, after publishing, the noindex meta tag still appears in the site’s head. There are no noindex tags in my code, and I’ve tried several workarounds; adding an index, follow meta tag and injecting a script to modify the DOM, but it seems Figma is inserting the tag automatically.Has anyone encountered this issue or found a reliable workaround?

Are they considered the same organization, the same Team? Because i added the accounts [redacted by forum admin/moderator to remove PII], [redacted by forum admin/moderator to remove PII], [redacted by forum admin/moderator to remove PII] to [redacted by forum admin/moderator to remove PII] Team and were charged for the added accounts? Why were they charged? Please explain this problem to me.Thank you,
