shift and arrow buttons for adjusting image no longer working

When I’m adjusting an image’s exposure, contrast, etc., the “shift” and “arrow” buttons are no longer functional. This makes it difficult to fine-tune an image using only the arrow. Is this a bug? (I was able to do this in the past). I checked a similar question two years ago, but there was no solution, so I am asking again. Previously, a single button click was sufficient, but now you must hold it down or switch tabs to make detailed adjustments.

Hey, @JAEYEONG_LEE! Thanks for your post.

I can definitely understand wanting to fine-tune properties like exposure with the keyboard rather than a mouse - sometimes you just need that level of control. I tested this in both Chrome and the Desktop app and it worked for me. Which are you using? It should work in both, though it’s possible there’s something in your browser or operating system that is preventing the key commands from working. Switching might be the quickest solution for you.

One other thing I noticed was I needed to watch carefully what was selected when tabbing through elements in the interface. At first it seemed like it wasn’t going to work, but then I realized I needed to hit tab one more time to select the property I wanted to adjust. I could tell I was selected when the slider had a small blue stroke around it. You can see it here where I tabbed an extra time to the contrast property:

The contrast property is currently selected.

Once I could tell I was selected on the property it then worked correctly for me.

I am using the desktop app!

Previously, I could change the value using the keyboard by clicking the button I wanted to change just once (the blue border didn't appear at first, but it appeared as I moved the keyboard).

Thanks for the additional info, @JAEYEONG_LEE

I’ll pass this onto the team. I completely understand how this could be disruptive to your workflow. May I ask when did you first noticed this issue? The team thinks this may have been a regression caused by other recent changes. Knowing the exact date can help them pin point the issue to revert and fix.

Please let me know, and I’ll keep you updated on any word from the team.

Thank you! I first noticed it on May 7th, and since I didn't use it every day, I suspect it changed sometime between the last week of April and the second week of May :)
