I've been billed incorrectly and the AI support bot won't let me talk to a real person

Hi,

I have a figma EDU plan that I believe might have momentarily lapsed earlier this year. I just noticed on my credit card statements that I’ve been charged $20/month by Figma Inc since June 2025, but I’ve received no billing statement info at all via email, and I can’t seem to find a way to cancel or view my billing statements anywhere in Figma. I’ve tried contacting support but AI chatbot won’t let me talk to a real person since I have an EDU account. Can someone help me figure out how to cancel these charges? I’m out over $100 for something I never signed up and was never notified about.

That sounds really frustrating. I’ve had similar issues with Figma EDU accounts before—sometimes the automated support just blocks access to live reps. One thing that usually works is going through the Figma “Contact Us” page directly, explaining the EDU account situation and the incorrect charges, and explicitly requesting a human agent for billing issues. If that doesn’t work, contacting your credit card company to dispute the unauthorized charges can also be a temporary fix while Figma resolves it.
