SheerID will not process my ticket

Hi,

I’ve been unable to get my student verification.

I’ve uploaded SEVERAL documents providing proof that I am a student.

I’m even using my edu email.

I’ve opened 5 tickets, all of them which have been permanently closed.

They keep on telling me to contact Figma instead of them.

This is frustrating since this app is something I need for class.

If you’re open to it, please send us an email at education@figma.com. The Education team can review your situation more closely, and escalate internally if appropriate. When you reach out, including screenshots and a short timeline of what you’ve already tried can really help speed things along.

Once you’ve contacted the Education team, feel free to share your support ticket number here. I’m happy to help escalate it internally and ask the team to take a closer look as soon as possible.

I sent an email to that address on the 30th Jan, but haven’t gotten a reply yet. Not even a ticket number. 

:(

The Education team usually responds within 5–7 business days, but they’re currently experiencing some delays. I’ll escalate this internally so it gets prioritised. Thanks for your patience in the meantime!

Thank you for your reply. SheerID seems to be the root of the problem, please see below from BBB:

“On November 26, 2025, Better Business Bureau recognized a pattern of complaints from consumers regarding service issues. Consumers allege the verification process is not working and customer service does not resolve the issue. On November 26, 2025, and December 19, 2025, BBB sent emails requesting a response to this pattern. To date, SheerID has not responded.”
