I think I searched as well as I can but I am not sure what the name of the tooling needed is… I want my Red dash stroke to follow the Orange dash stroke so that the red rectangle follows the number dash stroke tooltip (hugs inside). The inverse of what is happening in the green tooltip above with the large rectangle surrounding the number tooltip (hugs outside).

I cannot open this menu on the canvas, only when I go to the layer menu. I tried to close and open, restart, reload the tab… nothing.

I don't have the AI ​​update  

Hello, everybody!Figma somehow created 3000 empty rectangles. Some are grouped even, which causes weird thing when I copy or move some parts. But also I just cant’ understand when and how 3000 empty rectangles were created and haw to delete them manually. Any ideas what is it? 

I've noticed that some plugins in the Figma Community feature animated icons. I’m trying to do the same, but I keep getting an error indicating that only PNG or JPG uploads are allowed. Does anyone know how to work around this and successfully upload an animated icon?

I'm trying to use a Boolean property to toggle the visibility of a layer inside a component instance, but it's not working. I added a Boolean property to my main component and tried to bind it to a layer's visibility. I right-clicked the eye icon, linked the property, but nothing happens—toggling it in an instance doesn’t hide the layer. What am I missing? Any help would be appreciated!

Haven’t been able to find anyone else experiencing this so apologies if it’s already documented, but I’m getting a really annoying bug when selecting the trigger for a prototype where no matter where I am on the page it cuts off the options dialogue. Is there a fix?   

Hello everyone, I have a problem with a component and the ignore auto layout command.I have constructed a component of two elements, a circle and a group, the latter consisting of two circles. I have a problem when I resize the component. When I resize the component the red circle changes size, but the spinner (where the ‘ignore auto layout’ is applied) remains the same fixed size, despite the fact that the component has the constraints set to left/right and high/low.If I detach the component, it works fine.If I modify the component within the component set, it works fine.I need to use the component with these two constraints because I use a system with variable collections and without this, if I change the dimensions, the whole system explodes.Anyone with the same problem as me or with a suggestion to solve it?

When i add the “ignore auto layout” in a parto of component, this doesn’t work. If i detach the same component it works correctly. 

I paid the annual subscription for my Figma team, it’s been a month since I made the payment and so far everything was going well and recently I got this message “Payment failed Our last attempted charge was unsuccessful. Please update your payment method as soon as possible. File editing will be locked after 3 failed attempts.” and the charge was made to my card.

When switching variable modes in an overlay the new values do not follow the autolayout rules. I think this is a bug because closing and reopening the model will fix the autolayout issues. To fix this I included a duplicate of the modal and switch between them when changing the variable mode. Let me know if anyone is interested in links or images.

Ive created a Bottom Navigation bar and after setting it normal none scrollable frame there isnt an issue but when i apply it to a long frame where i have to scroll vertically, just after i apply fixed (Stay in place) when i play in prototyope the bar bounces to middle of the frame and back after clicking on the icons.Can someone please help me with this as it keeps occuring for me everytime or is there any hack to avoid this?

I'm having a little problem making a sticky element so that it is at the bottom of the screen when scrolling until it reaches the end of the auto-layout it is in.I have this block diagram, and I'd like to get an effect where the green button is scrolled and pinned to the bottom of the screen until it reaches the end of the auto-layout (Section 2 in the picture) in which it is located.Anyone have any ideas on how to do this? I did the sticky at the top of the screen with no problem, but with the version at the bottom I have a little problem :) 

When I assign an action to a nested instance in a component which sets a variable it doesn’t seem to work. The component’s variant changes, but the variable is never changed. There are no warnings or errors. When assigning the same action to the outer component it does set the variables. An example:Figma – 26 Jun 23 This somehow feels related to the following limitation: Variables can only be applied to top-level instances, and are not available for nested variant instances. I cannot figure out what to do with the local font issue not showing up on figma. I downloaded the font figma agent for browser. I try this on both desktop app in macOS and browser and cannot get it to work. None of my local fonts work. Can anyone help me? Are local fonts now limited to paid versions of the app??

Hi everybody!I don’t know how to automatically (when the user is not on the Figma file board) load SVG.Specifically, it should look like this:1. Send a request with these svgs2. All these files should appear on the board as separate frames, each with its own content.There is no methods in docs that would allow me to manipulate the Figma document in the background  Thanks a lot!

I know this was an issue on the old Spectrum forum that doesn’t seem to have any ground here, and it still is an issue. See quick video with imported complex vectors and a simple heart made in Figma. Any idea when this bug will be addressed? Dropping it into Illustrator is not an appropriate solution.
