This window has popped up on all my projects, what should I do about it?

I understand you’re running into an issue where you’re seeing a message that you’ve been restricted from sharing a file.

There are two possible scenarios that could explain this:

  • File-level sharing restrictions
    • Someone with can edit access may have enabled sharing restrictions on the file. This feature prevents viewers from copying, sharing, or exporting file contents. More details: Restrict copying and sharing on files
  • Account-level restrictions
    • Your account may have been restricted due to Terms of Service considerations.

I also noticed that you already submitted a support ticket#1632139 about this (thank you!). In your ticket, you mentioned that you’re the owner of those files, so your situation may fall under the second scenario.

If so, we’re not able to resolve account-specific issues here in the Forum for security reasons.

To help our support team investigate more effectively, please reply to your ticket email with the following:

  • Are you unable to share just one specific file, or are you seeing sharing restrictions across multiple files?
  • A screenshot of the exact error message you’re seeing

This window appears on all files, but sharing works.
