Whenever I try to log in to my Figma account from a different laptop, no email confirmation nor SMS arrives. It happened a few time, so I guess it‘s time to ask for support. Could there be any common issue why this might happen?

Hi @Zlatko,

I understand that you’re not receiving the confirmation email and SMS for 2FA, and that this is preventing you from logging into your account.

First, are you using the same Figma account and the same network on the different laptop?

One common cause for missing emails is that an IT department or email admin may have filters in place that block messages from our domain.

If that might be the case, please ask them to safe-list our domain or remove any filters so the emails can get through.

For the SMS/2FA side, you can also try the following:

• Check if you’re still logged in anywhere:
If so, you can remove 2FA from your Account Settings. Scroll to “Remove two-factor authentication” : Enable two-factor authentication (2FA)

• If you can sign in with Google:
Go to https://www.figma.com/login and select “Continue with Google” to bypass 2FA.

If none of them helps, our Support team can also check whether verification emails were sent and help troubleshoot further, so as you mentioned, I also recommend reaching out to them.

To do that:
In the app, click the (?) icon → “Contact support” → type your question → Start Chat.
The chatbot will guide you through opening an email case with Support.

Thanks,

Zlatko

Thanks @Junko3. For my case, it helped, by disabling the 2FA.
