How Long will it take to verify my student account?

I had recently applied through my student id. My request was verified by Sheer Id. However, I haven’t received any mail from Figma Team on how to set-up my account and avail the benefits of student id. Does anyone have any idea about how much time is it going to take?

Update: The team confirmed with you that they were able to resolve it and you should have received an email from Figma confirming your access in your email now.

Hey Aarush, Celine from Figma here! Sorry to hear you haven’t received a response after your Education Plan verification.  
Since Figma partners with SheerID for student verification, your account should automatically upgrade once SheerID confirms your eligibility. If you’ve already been approved but your account still appears as free, there may just be a short syncing delay.

A couple of things to check:

  1. Make sure you applied using the same email linked to your Figma account (if the emails don’t match, the upgrade won’t go through.)
  2. If the emails do match and you’ve been verified, reach out to the Figma Education team at education@figma.com so they can take a closer look and ensure the upgrade is applied.
  3. You can keep working on the free Starter plan in the meantime (all your files are safe, and any Pro features you unlock once upgraded will apply immediately.)

Thanks for reaching out!! I am using the starter plan as of now and have sent out the mail to the education team as well. Would be grateful if you could help in resolving the issue quickly🙏.I have attached the image of the message I have received after verifying my account
