I set my text colour to the dark, primary colour. The opacity is at 100% but it looks grey! It changed suddenly when I put it within an auto-layout frame. I can’t fix it.Does anyone know what’s happening? 

OK so in the beginning of the year it turned out I don’t have projects in my personal Figma subscription, just some contract account stuff.I cancelled the Pro plan… so I thought.It didn’t take payment on the 27th, so it’s OK.But then, I go to Figma, see the team I had as Professional, it still has Professional badge.I see that in the e-mails I have info that it’s “viewer-restricted” account that I have at (my own) team.I don’t get it… it should limit the stuff and not generally switch me to “viewer” for all of my projects?Now I have to go to projects and ask to edit but… I ask myself?And I go to subscriptions and I’m still on Professional but I am… not? This is idiotic… another thing that is more complex than needed.Anyone understands all that?

Presentation viewSlide editor viewFor some reason when I go into presentation mode the prototype that I’ve added via the “Live interaction” button is shortening the view port of the prototype. I’ve tried restarting Figma and checking my prototype display settings, but neither seem to fix the issue. 

I’ve been trying to use icon fonts so that I can apply inline icons with text. Wingdings doesn’t work, it’s all appearing as text. none of the actual iconography. I also installed a free version of FontAwesome 6, and tried both the web and the desktop versions. Figma posts a note acknowledging ‘new font added’ but when I select it, it’s just text. How the heck do I do this. I tried the fontawesome plugin, but that’s just giving me svg shapes. I need TRUE inline text icons.

I want to delelte “limited access team”  in my team list.And the account that invited me is a dead email account, so the owner can't delete me.I don't want to be in that limited team. I don't need it. So I want to delete it, but no matter how hard I search, I can't find a way.   

I am trying to build a prototype where the size of the overlay depends on the size of the window. There is a set of overlays. On click of the button I open overlay on the side of the screen and the height of the overlay needs to follow the height of the window. First image looks good. The overlay in the second needs to adjust. HOW?

I have a problem with duplicating a project. When duplicating, I get the following message. All my drafts and recent are empty, but I still can't duplicate. Where does the problem come from?

We need more languages and fonts to be supported in FigJam. 

On my new projects i cant adjust these sliders with touchpad or mouse. Am i the only one who is facing this issue. And is not also effects panel. Same issues are in the linear gradient color wheel sliders RGBA sliders etc.

In the middle of my work, Figma showed me this message saying I ran out of browser memory, and when I opened the file in recovery mode, it shows I only used 2%, any idea what is going on? 

It’s just a disaster! It is impossible to do anything with an illustration even slightly larger than the slide size. Fun fact: the minimum zoom out depends on the browser width.

Any time I set an element to be fixed, it disappears in the prototype mode. It’s not below the fold line, so it doesn’t have any reason to not appear.

Hi all In my portfolio case study I have a link to a figma prototype / flow starting point with settings to view in desktop device. My problem is the prototype opens up with some it cut off and the device off centre. If I close the side bar it rectifies. When I am personally in Figma, playing my prototype I amn aware of the prototype settings - to hide side bar etc… which as far as I can tell has to be reset each time you view your prototype. My problem: For visitors who don’t know figma - they are not going to know how to do this or bother to for that matter. It all opens up off centre which is not a very professional UX look when linking portfolio for job finding. Any tips? Thanks 🙂

Hey there! Is it possible to make a slide in a Figma Slide Deck file non-clickable i.e. not leading to the next slide on-click?The only option I’ve come up with is to place a huge text linked to this same slide, the problem is when clicked it starts to reload the whole presentation 

I started a course in December on UI/UX using Figma. I applied for a student account and whiles applying the time I gave for ending the course is January but I'm halfway through the course. Can I reapply for the student account after my student account expires?

Is there a way to build a prototype where a user can press a button to change the colour mode of the page they’re currently on? Eg. to change dark mode to light mode. But without creating a duplicate of every single page 🙂

First, so sorry to bring this up again. I know we have all struggled with this for a long time. Gleb seems to be the only master to have really nailed it!​@Gleb ,had this solved pretty well in a previous answer to someone. I have made it work in the past, but this time I am at my wits end!I tried a lot of different options. I tried making EVERYTHING hug. I tried the fix to fixed size without auto layout. It just is not working for me.I have a navbar component with a round “seal” logo displayed. However there are times where a different size or shape logo will have to be swapped there. I will not be the one controlling the logo, so vendors could throw in anything really.Here is the file that I have along with a video showing how I tried to do it. Figma is being weird about uploading the file so you can view and get my Figma file directly here.  I REALLY do not want to have someone detach the instances in order to customize that, but I am close to scrapping the whole thing.  I am exhaust

Hi Everyone,Hoping to get some help with component animation. I have two components. The first component has a bar in it that uses after delay and smart animation to change the color of the bar from green to yellow to red over 10s.The second component uses the first component and animates the first component across the screen, left to right, over 10s. Basically I’m trying to make it look like a timer that is counting down and changing colors the closer it gets to zero.However, when I drop the 2nd component into a frame and run the prototype the 2nd component animation runs first and the once it’s done moving left to right THEN the 1st component’s animation of changing the bar’s colors runs. Is there a way to get the animations for both components to run at the same time?I’ve added some screen shots to hopefully help visualize things. In the bottom right you can see the green bar moved across the screen, once that was done then it changed from green to yellow to red. Again I’d like that

Hi,I have a project, to which access has been granted for an entire Team. Nonetheless, my colleagues within that team report not being able to access the project.The project permissions state that 8 users have access through the Team, even though the Team is larger than 8 users.What might prevent the remaining members of the Team from accessing the project, and how can I fix it?I’m also noticing as I browse the Team member list, that some users I can “Grant admin access” and others I can “Invite as admin” instead. Seems like those I can “Grant admin access” to are the ones who can access the project. I seem to be unable to figure out what the difference between these users is, and therefore, how I can get rid of this difference. 

I’m able to get an image with the image rest api (GET https://api.figma.com/v1/images/:key?ids=:node_id), but it doesn’t crop the result to the provided node id. Instead, it renders everything below the top layer the node is nested under.This is what I receive from the api.This is what I want from the api roughly. Is it possible to get the desired result from this api, or do I need to explore alternatives? The node ids I’m using are derived from the url after clicking on the node in the figma viewer (www.figma.com/design/{file_id}/{file_name}?node-id={node_id}).

When will the applications for the Figma affiliate program open again? I saw this program a few days ago, and it was accepting responses, but now it is not.

I was using Figma on Chrome when an error occurred, and the file didn’t save. Upon checking, I noticed that some file pages were deleted. I tried undoing the changes using Ctrl+Z, but it only worked up to a certain limit. Can you suggest a solution?
