Hi! I'm unable to preview animations after clicking on 'Present'. Also after prototyping section as 'mouse enter' it either doesn't work after previewing or animation get's stuck mid way. Is there a way I can fix these issues?

Hi, My student club has an Education plan where we keep our Figma files. Our account was locked and we we’re asked to re-verify. I went through the re-verification forum and hit the error saying “Verification limit exceeded”. I then contacted SheerID and they got back to me saying they cannot process my verification request or offer further support. Please advise me on what can be done for my Education benefits to continue as this has halted a major portion of our work. Thank you

Hi Figma team,I encountered an issue while working on my project today. I didn’t have one of the project fonts installed on my computer, so Figma showed a “font missing” message.To continue working, I replaced the missing font only for one frame that I was editing — not the entire file. However, after doing this, many text layers in the file started to change to the replacement font automatically, even though they were linked to text styles and I hadn’t modified them.Now, when I click on any text layer (even ones with the correct style linked), it suddenly switches to the replacement font. 

 In the desktop Figma app, when I collapse the sidebar to a compact view, there is no way to switch pages while maintaining that compact view. It would be ideal if I could at least open pages in separate tabs, but instead, all pages within the same project are consolidated into a single tab (split view is possible, but not what I'm looking for). If it weren't for this "overly helpful" design choice, navigating between pages wouldn't be such a struggle (because showing/hiding the sidebar affects bothsides, making the screen extremely narrow, and constantly toggling it is inelegant).

Im really trying to make Figma Slides my go-to above google slides, but every single time i turn to it i have to go back to google because i cant add videos to slides without inevitably erroring out and being removed. I have the correct Figma License Ive deleted cache/Desktop Profile folder religiously. Sometimes buys me 1 video before erroring again, usually not even that.  Videos im trying to add are .h264 mp4’s and usually under 10mbSometimes i can get a few videos added, but once 1 errors out, from then on its fighting the errors and i abandon figma and begrudgingly end up back in google slides where i can at least simply videos and gifs without issue.   

I have three students who cannot verify their education status here at our college though they have accepted the invite into my team.  SheerID have now prevented their ability to verify. Please advise. 

Hi! I'm experiencing a strange issue with a carousel prototype in Figma.When I open the prototype while logged into my Figma account, the carousel breaks — it looks misaligned or deformed. But when I open the exact same prototype in an incognito window (without being logged in), the carousel displays perfectly and works as expected.I’ve already tried: Rebuilding the carousel from scratch Double-checking auto layout and constraints Publishing a fresh prototype link The issue still happens, but only when I'm logged in. I also tested it across different browsers, and a teammate experienced the same problem on her account, so it doesn't seem to be user-specific.Has anyone else run into this? Could it be a bug or something related to session-based rendering in Figma?Thanks in advance! 

I pasted a large block of text into a box, and it slows the system down so much that it’s unusable. The rest of the page is unaffected. I have to break it up into smaller parts, which is fine, except it’s just long legal text which all needs to stay together.Maybe it’s because the text is in German (therefore most of the text is underlined in red), but that seems unlikely.Not sure how to report the problem to the developers.

Hi everyone — I’m seeing unexpected behaviour in the Figma Desktop app on my Mac and hoping others can confirm or help.What’s happening: When I try to scroll up and down with my mouse/trackpad in the Figma Desktop app, the canvas zooms in and out instead of panning/scrolling. This happens even when I’m not holding the Cmd key (⌘). When it occurs: It happens consistently in the Figma Desktop app on macOS and on the browser version. It doesn’t seem to matter whether I use a trackpad swipe or a USB mouse scroll wheel. What I expect: Normal vertical scrolling should move the viewport up/down (or if at canvas edge, scroll the file UI). Zooming should only occur when I hold the appropriate modifier (Cmd/Ctrl or pinch gesture), not for plain scroll gestures. What I’ve tried so far: Restarted Figma app Restarted macOS Checked Figma Desktop Preferences for any scroll/zoom settings Tried both my MacBook trackpad and an external USB mouse Tested in a different Figma file and in the same file

Suddenly, the project i was working… disappear. I keep one link of the prototype i shared with my client, but , the project is not in my dashboard, and i can’t access to the prototype because i don't have privileges of admin…. Already asked here:  But I’m having this same issue and have no idea what the resolution is.Things keep showing as edited and “properties changed” when I didn’t touch those pages at all. My team and I now have to make another branch off the main when we are done working, copy and paste our work into the second branch and archive the first branch we did all the work in bc the first branch always shows so many edits and we can’t pin down what is going on.

Hello,Figma Mirror hasn't been working for few days on my iPhone.It used to work “ok” before but now, every time I want to use Mirror, I just see a black screen no matter what I try. The app correctly shows the selected frame prior to mirroring but as soon as I tap on “Begin mirroring”, I see nothing but a black screen.I tried with different projects... I restarted Figma on macOS... I rebooted my Mac... Is there a way in Figma, or a plugin, to give me a way to see or find out where a variable is being used in a component library. For example, how can I find out where “background.primary” is being used?Also, with that being said, is the a plugin that will give me all the variables for a single component?Thanks!!

That account has since been deleted, but I recently found that the file is still publicly accessible and even appears in Google search results.The file contains internal company processes, so it really shouldn’t be visible to the public. Empty spaces in sticky components are allowing clicks for the components below them. The sticky frame has a solid fill with natural blending mode. It is also above the other components in the layers panel.How to block the clicks?
