Verification limit exceeded - Need Help Resetting Verification for Figma Student Plan

Hello,

I am currently a college student at Collin College and have been experiencing ongoing issues with a “verification limit exceeded” message for some time now.

I contacted SheerID regarding this issue and received response:

Since you already have an approval yet cannot access the student plan, please contact Figma directly at education@figma.com, as SheerID only handles verification and does not have access to account-specific information.
 
You can provide them with the verification details below:
 

  • Verified Email: garnold@mail.npc.edu
  • Request ID: 6966d3f3aaff441822e3ea26
  • Date Verified: January 14, 2026

After that, I contacted Figma directly and unfortunately no response.

You are my last hope guys!!

I would greatly appreciate any assistance with resetting my verification attempts so that I can verify my Figma account and continue my coursework without interruption.

Hey ​@IngaMorelock, thanks for reaching out! 
I can see your support ticket (#1719923). The Education team usually responds within 5–7 business days, but they’re currently experiencing some delays.

 

In the meantime can you please double-check a couple of things:

Education access isn’t applied automatically to a team. You may need to create a new team or upgrade an existing one. This Help Center article walks through the steps in detail:

Account mismatch: It’s also possible the verified Education status was applied to a different Figma account. Please confirm you’re logged into the same account you used during the SheerID verification process.

 

If you believe your Education status was applied to the wrong account, you can submit this form and our team will help out. Please note, the Figma team cannot move status from an account associated with educational email address to an account associated with a personal email address.
