Hello, recently my laptop broke and all the files that were on it are gone with it my google account was lost and I’m unable to recover it. I filled the support form and put in an email I could be reached on (3 days ago) but I still haven’t received anything, with the forum I attached a screen shot of one of the designs I had on the lost account. please help, thank you.

Hello everyone, I’ve recently encountered a very frustrating issue while using Figma. On macOS 15.1 (version 24b5009i), using the PingFang font in Figma documents causes the application to freeze, and the font cannot be recognized. I’ve tried common solutions like clearing the cache and restarting the device, but nothing has worked. I’m currently using Figma version 124.2.9. Notably, using Figma in a browser does not cause freezing, but it still shows a missing font warning and fails to recognize the PingFang font. Has anyone else experienced a similar issue? Or does anyone have effective solutions to recommend? Your help would be greatly appreciated! Looking forward to your replies. Thank you!

Hey, I recently updated some text styles and tried to publish them, but I keep encountering this error: “Unable to publish 6 changes to the Team Library.” Also, neither of the affected text styles can be applied anymore. Has anyone else faced this issue or know how to fix it? Thank you 🙂

Hello, This might be a dummy question but I am new to Figma. I have a card footer containing 3 elements : a data source, a phone number and a button. I would like the data source to be left aligned while I want the phone number and the button to be right aligned. Do you have any idea of how to get this behavior ? Should I set something in the card footer element or in the children element ? Thanks advance ! in

I waited the verification email for new account, but don’t receive it. I checked it in the inbox and junk, but don’t receive it. I clicked on the “Let’s resend it”, but i don’t get any email verification button and email from Figma . Please check this issue and let me know how to fix it.

For the past few weeks my team and I have been noticing this issue where we apply auto layout to a set of items and one of the items will randomly take absolute position property by default. Then you have to go digging around in your layer panel to find which item took the absolute position and turn it off in order for the auto layout to order things as expected (the way it was working previously). Anyone else experiencing this or know how to fix it?

I’ve looked to see if the Text is part of a layer or something, it’s not. I just tried again after rebooting Figma and I selected the Text tool and wrote “yyy” but there is still no Font Setting? (yyy text not shown in this image) Cheers for any help!

So I have a school project to make a website design that I decided to work with my friend. But recently he sent me a screenshot about all of our work’s layers turned into this ‘vector’ thing that I don’t know what it is (picture included) . I am still new to Figma so I don’t really understand what happened, wonder if someone knew what we were doing wrong? It’s probably just our stupidity, I guess we just needs a simple fix…

As the title says, we are in the process of moving all olur files from individual drafts to team space (paid version). i am owner in project file and have edit access in team space but i cant move project file to team space… **> When I click move on the file ** > Current Location : X(*) 's Drafts > You can’t move files that are in another person’s Drafts. (*Person X is no longer working with us and has made me owner on the files as they leave. ) I need your help to put the files back together.

Hi, Recently my Figma app has troubles with detecting installed fonts on my Laptop. One time it shows only a part of them, the other time the list is empty (“No fonts found”). I’ve tried reinstalling Figma (with deinstalling all related files, cache and register), reinstalling fonts (also for all users as admin) and installing Font Installer (and tried using browser version). All of those actions only help until first computer restart. Recently I had the update of Figma’s UI and then I update my Windows from 10 to 11. I don’t know if this problem is linked to those events, but on Windows 10 I’ve never encountered such a thing. Does anyone know how could I fix it?

Dear community, I searched a lot here but didn’t find an answer at least with kind of reasonable actuality. So sorry if I just didn’t find the right place with discussion or answer. Situation: We have a pro plan with a team and a project within, which now needs to be moved into a new enterprise level organisation at client side. The project consists of a bunch of project files with the layouts + one global public library file. All components in all project files are using this one library file. If I do a “Copy project” transfer, I am loosing branches, comments and also the links to the components in the central library. Is it correct, that I will NOT loose all the component links to the global library file, when I transfer the project with “Transfer” instead of copy? The project is huge and it would be a great problem, if we would loose all connections. So when it will not work, please shout out and tell me how I can solve this 🙂 Thanks a lot in advance.

Has anyone else experienced Figma prototypes not saving settings? I’ve unchecked ‘Show Hotspot Hints’ and every time I re-open the prototype, it is checked again. Is this a known bug? Is there a work-around?

Hi, I have spent the last two days just to add a border around my website frame because when I used the Border plugin it opened a tiny black window saying “Border” with a X on the right and that was the only functionality the controller window had! Despite deleting and re-running? I added 4 rectangles 5px wide around the frame. All good! Then I copied it to other tabs (other website pages) And it worked fine until the 4th page where I can see the white 5px border but it is completely unelectable denote no padlock. I have tried every setting like ungrouping etc (in which the border elements were still not visible) and yet here they are and I can’t figure out how to delete them and try again with the previous copy and paste of the 4 elements? When I hover over the white border line it highlights the whole frame named “Home?” The question is why? I simply copy and pasted. I did not embed it or play around with any settings that might have cause this to become part of the the Home frame? A

I want to reuse my self-made template, but it doesn’t appear in the templates list. Which is very annoying. What’s the purpose of custom templates when it isn’t made available for yourself/your team? Kinda a turn off to have to open the template first and click the tiny button in the top right to use it elsewhere (for which it has to be updated completely). I also noticed that somehow Figma wants me to update the slide deck template, whilst there were no changes made to it. Is that because of library (design system) updates I made?

I have noticed that, when I’m in design mode, certain settings that normally appear in the right-hand design panel sometimes disappear. It seemed random at first, but today I realized that it’s consistently happening whenever I toggle over to the animation panel and come back to the design panel. Specifically, my corner radius and opacity settings are disappearing. The only way I’ve found to get them back is to right click and refresh the whole file tab. The attached images show a comparison of the panel before and after I change the slide’s animation settings. You can see that the “Appearance” tools have disappeared. Has anyone else encountered this? I also filed a bug report.

Hi Guys, can any one help me to fix Input Dropdown. I have created a separate component for the Input Dropdown using variant. Issue When clicking input box. The dropdown came back of the below input box. Its in auto layout, but in group, dropdown comes front. I will attach image for the reference.

I have a page with 3 text sections that can expand to show more text. Each section has an expand icon. I’ve set the components variants so that clicking the icon toggles between the open / closed state of each section, so I have a prototype with 3 sections that the user can expand / collapse separately. Is there a way to create a prototype interaction where clicking the icon on a specific section not only expands that section, but also collapses all other open sections? Thank you in advance 🤓

I wanted to test conditional prototyping + multi-mode for variables. I was thinking that if I downgrade my plan after a while, what will happen to these prototypes or modes? The case is I’m not sure if my team which I’m working with will continue paying for the professional plan or not. And I don’t want to get too dependent on these tools. Is there any help link to explain the process clearly? I didn’t find anything useful. here are my questions: If I use multi-action + conditional prototype, will they work even after downgrade? (am I still able to view them or not?) If I create multi modes for my variable collections, would they still be usable or do they get locked? if they get locked, what will happen to styles that are connected to the modes? do they get detached? If I create more than 3 pages, after downgrade, would they still be visible, or they get locked? I would appreciate any explanation.

Hi guys. There are two issues regarding the prototype-link. When I share the prototype-link with clients, they still have to request viewing access. This shouldn’t happen, as the purpose of sharing a prototype-link is to allow them to view part of the designs. Anyone with the prototype-link should be able to view it without needing additional permissions. 🫤 Now, when I grant them view access, they can also access the working file, which shouldn’t be the case!! They should only be able to view the prototype through the prototype-link and not have access to the working file. However, right now they can navigate from the prototype to the working file. 🤨 Please provide a better solution here. 🤞 Yes, I’m aware of the workaround of creating another file for the prototype/presentation, but this is not the best solution?

It seems Figma can’t decide whether it uses bullet characters (bad choice IMO) or real bullets, see for yourself: If I start typing in the last line it converts the bullet char into a circular bullet, but I can’t fix the one in the second line. Figma AI feature not available. gays I downloaded the Figma desktop and I also showed new features only the AI feature is not available I also downloaded the Figma beta desktop version but it is also not available and I still want to work with the Figma AI version give me help with how may I use the feature.

I’m logged in with a student account, but it’s still limited like a starter account (e.g., only 3 pages per draft, and a maximum of 3 drafts per project). When I try logging in again as a student on Figma, it confirms that I’m already using a student account, but the limitations persist. How can I resolve this? I’ve also tried reaching out to the Figma team by email, but I received a response indicating that, as a starter account, I can only use the forum or help center for support. This prevents me from resolving the issue. Is there any other way to fix this?

Hi After rollout of UI3, the file/variables/local REST API endpoint started to return error 500. I submitted a support request, but no response so far. Can someone @figma please have a look?
