I was just trying out the new Figma Sites feature and I used a bunch of different fonts.

When I tried to preview the site or publish it, every font is getting changed to default Arial font. None of my used fonts are getting loaded. Kindly fix this otherwise the whole Figma Sites feature will become useless.

Hi @Imtiyaz_Ahmed

Thanks for giving Figma Sites a try! I wanted to check if you're using custom fonts in your project? Just to clarify, custom fonts installed on your computer aren't currently supported in Figma Sites. The platform does support Google Fonts, though - you can find more details here: https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/articles/31242787286935-Use-design-tools-in-Figma-Sites#h_01JTGSP7B541NG6F0GE2XVH6XA

Also, our product team is currently tracking a separate issue where "Figma Sites text breakpoints always use mobile values on load." Is this different from what you're experiencing? If it's actually the same issue, I'd be happy to merge your report into the existing thread:

I hope to correctly understand the issue you’re seeing, so please let us know a little bit more context.

Thanks for your patience.

Hey,

Thanks for the quick response, really appreciate that.

Cools, that cleared my doubt. As you mentioned the issue is with the no available support for custom fonts within Figma Sites. Once I tried the preview and publishing with Google-only font, it worked fine.

Also found the article in whcih you explained the current limitations of the Figma Sites and what they are. Custom fonts is something really important and really looking forward to it to be released soon.

Regarding the other query you mentioned - No, its not the same issue. Though I did come across that issue too but you do not have to merge the articles.

Thanks, Have a great day

Hi,

I am also trying Figma Sites.
You said the platform does support Google Fonts but when I import a component with the “Playfair Display” font, wich is a Google Font, Figma want to replace this font by another and it doesn’t find the “Playfair Display” font…

Hi @Yoel Hanoufa

Thanks for reaching out about this. Based on the discussion in this thread, it looks like you might be experiencing a font conflict.

I went into my Font Book and selected the Google fonts I have installed locally on my machine and deactivated them. I restarted Figma and it seemed to fix the issue.

I hope this helps!

Thanks,

Toku

Hi, I use Tektur which is available on Google Font, but it’s not work on Figma Site Preview. How can I fix it?
