What is meant by Figma Sites CMS not being available until late 2025 actually mean? I am having to explore other CMS solutions, as a result of the CMS not being available, only after having created a pretty extensive design system for an internal site, components, blocks, and templates. Any update would be extremely helpful.

I have sort of a quirky issue with icons:I have a set of icons that are linked to my UI kit icons are placed in, e.g. icon button and applied variable for it’s height (it’s locked aspect ratio but we found out applying the variable to height is more reliable than width) we have 3 density modes: regular, compact, and ultra compact icon button nested in another component is causing the icon within to loose the 1:1 ratio when compact or ultra compact mode appliedThe issue disappears when component gets detached 😓 (The search icon in the screenshot below is nested even deeper what only proves the issue is with this components being nested.) 

Where is absolute position option is there in Figma in latest version? is the name changed as “ignore auto layout”?

I’m experiencing an issue where the Figma Desktop App shows a black screen. I have tried uninstalling, clearing all related files in the file manager, and reinstalling, but the app still doesn’t open.I’m running the latest version of Figma Desktop App. My device’s operating system and graphics drivers are fully up to date. The issue does not occur in the web version of Figma, which works fine. The desktop app fails to open any files, even when trying to access them directly via a file URL.Steps I have already tried:Clearing Figma cache Running Figma with GPU acceleration disabled Updating graphics drivers Resetting and reinstalling with full cleanupPlease help me resolve this issue! 

Hi, since today my Figma UI (app) seems bugged. Happens in dark and lightmode. Already did a couple of reboots and installed the latest macOS update. The borders are way too solid.  Screenshots:Any ideas how to solve this?

I had figma free education plan which i applied for now they emailed me to re-verify by september 29 or I'll lose those pro features now I joined figma recently a month back i have re-applied for verification but they say i have exceeded limit for verification or availed this offer. I have no clue how to solve this i have contacted Sheer Id support team too.

Hello,The desktop app that I have always used on my MacBook with MacOS 11.7.10 operating system stopped working today. There is a white cross on the app preview: when I click to open the application, a notification appears saying that MacOS 12.0 operating system is required.The MacBook (from 2015) can no more be updated. I am asking if it is possible to use the Figma desktop app on the previous version anyway. Hello,I cannot use my education plan eventhough I am verified as a student. I have been verified before, and in summer figma sent my an email that I need to re-verfiy my student status. I did that and sheerID confirmed with me that my student status is still fine and I should be able to continue like normal.They also stated in the email that I will receive an email from figma about how to set up my education plan etc but I never received that email. I also tried to contact the customer support but I never got a reply.I also chatted with the AI support but that lead to nothing. I can access my files and edit them with the free plan. I have been invited to an education team by a fellow student. They have the educatio plan and it works just fine. When I open a file in that team it tells me I need to verify my status in order to not lose access. But when I go to my account under role it tells me I have the “education” role.  I was charged for an editor seat, but this seems to be a mistake.I did not intentionally give full or paid access to the user (Naghmeh), and I was not aware that this would result in a charge. I am a currently enrolled student for a visual design degree.When I attempt to re-verify my status, I receive the common error message: "We're glad you're enthusiastic, but it looks like you've already redeemed or attempted to redeem this offer."I have already tried contacting SheerID but have not received a response.Please manually reset my verification status so I can submit my updated documents and continue using Figma for my studies.

Hello! While trying to publish a new version of the plugin we were asked to add 2fa to our hello@viewst.com account to get the possibility to publish a new version of the plugin.  But after we add it and try to publish a new version, we get a new error message "We detected a change to your account details. Please contact support@figma.com to proceed" that blocks our possibility to publish a new version with fixes of our plugin.  And now we are stuck in this state for 2 weeks and couldnt publish fix to plugin (case plugin account inst paid one and we cant reach support, and our primary paid account couldnt get help while its different account issue)What could be our next steps to resolve it?

Hey everyone!Our team has built a multi-brand design system that supports three different brand themes, each with both light and dark modes.All our icons are created as unions. This helps preserve the color override when an icon is swapped inside a component. For example: all icons use the “icon” color variable by default, but within a success inline message component, the icon is overridden with the “icon-success” color variable (green), as the icon should always be green in that context. Swapping, say, a checkmark icon with “icon-success” applied for a shield icon retains the correct “icon-success” variable. So far, so good.However, when we re-theme the inline message component from Brand 1 to Brand 2, the icon switches to a different brand-specific variant from the icon component set. Hello, I have seen this issue quite a few times in the forum (locked out of Figma account that is tied to school email that can no longer be accessed) and was unable to get a response after I opened a support ticket, so here I am seeking help for this issue.The workaround that is suggested by Support staff on this forum (email forwarding) is not an option for me unfortunately.Thank you!

I can’t seem to find a way to turn off the red measurement tool. If I go to View > Hide UI it does remove it, but it also removes other side navigation components that I need available.   

MCP Server works, but Code Connect UI does not appear in Dev Mode. Can you enable Code Connect UI for our workspace please?

Hello,I have been trying to verify my student status (for the student plan) for a couple of weeks now without success.Every time I submit the application, I receive an error message at the very end of the process.  "We're unable to verify you using the information submitted. Please check your information for accuracy, and only use your own mobile device or computer."Despite checking several times, every informations provided is correct but the result is the same. I have now exceeded the verification limit and can’t try again.I have tried to reach out to SheerID support a few times, but they’ve proved totally unhelpful, only sending me generic automated responses without providing any insight or help. They’ve closed every tickets without offering advice or solving anything.Any help would be greatly appreciated as I’ve already been missing out on quite a few teams projects, and deadlines are right in the corner.Thanks in advance
