UI 3 is terrible good thing vibe coding is killing figma
I have 4 full seats that we’ve been paying for. 3 need only dev mode access. When trying to downgrade the users, it says I will be billed additionally for the 3 users I need to downgrade. I don’t want additional 3 additional dev seats, I want 1 full and 3 dev. How do I do this? I keep getting prompted that each change will be an addition, not a change???
I’m creating a social media post card and I have a hover animation effect for the post interaction buttons. But when I hover over it in preview mode, the tooltips get cutoff by the layer below it despite it being on top with no *Clip content* selected. Anyone know why this is and how I get work my way around this?
I have tried a support ticket. And I would like to give Figma some money. But sales does not seem to want our money. My question is...we need MANY MODES. Ca we get away with ONLY one or two enterprise licenses to create and manage modes? The thinking is, can my designers with a pro license CHOOSE THE MODE in their designs, while they still only pay for the pro license $15? But our admins could buy $75 enterprise licenses. @figmasupprt does it work that way? Or does everyone need an enterprise license? sales: 🦗🦗🦗
Hi everyone, I used to copy an image (Ctrl+C from browser or local folder) and then paste it (Ctrl+V) directly into an image component in Figma - like for cards or avatar images - and it would automatically replace the image. But recently, this no longer works. When I try pasting, nothing happens. Now Figma only shows options like “Upload from computer” or “Make an image” (screenshot attached). I’m wondering: is this a recent change or bug in Figma?Is there still a way to paste an image directly into a component without having to upload it manually? Thanks in advance!
This issue happened while I was in the middle of editing my files, and suddenly I got this pop-up message. I'm the team owner and have full access and permission to every single file, but now my home page is completely stuck like this. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app three times. I also cleaned my cache and I've also logged out of my account on the browser, but I can't do the same on the app since the home page remains stuck. Can someone please help me resolve this issue?
Hi all, I am working on a design for our sister company which is a white label of our main site. So I have duplicated thats site over to a new file and now need to replace to match the styling of the sister site. When I change the font it normally updates immediately. But its currently not changing and the small preview icon “Ag” for the font changes to a “T” Do anyone know if there is an issue currently? ThanksSimon
Call me blind, but… Where in UI3 are the Boolean operations? i.e. Union, Subtract, Intersect, Exclude These used to be on the main toolbar.
Lots of posts about copying variables between files…but how do we copy variables between modes? I have a thorough set of variables with light and dark modes. Figma recently made it possible to apply variables to shadows. So now I added the variable set for shadows. However, it seems that I have to manually set the variable for each of the items in BOTH the light and dark modes. 🤬 Am I missing something? Does someone have a better process that I am skipping? How can I duplicate from one mode to the other without ending up with a whole third mode? This feels like missing functionality to me.

What if I have a professional plan on my own and my friend has a professional plan on his own.What happens when we want to collaborate on the same file? Do I have to pay an extra seat for him again?
I’m unable to activate or access the AI features. I’ve checked for updates and tried basic troubleshooting steps, but the feature still doesn’t appear to be available for me. I’m using AI image generation in beta and today I suddenly got rate limit exceeded. I tried Can I not use this anymore? Or will it reset the next day? I don’t know Has anyone else had the same experience?

Hi, i think the problem exists since the last patch update. When I create a local style Layout grid and use it on a frame, I can’t hide or show it anymore. Until last week there was a eye icon next to the grid while hovering. I’m missing this icon now and with that the show/hide function.My workaround now is to go to the settings for the local style and hide it there. Is this a bug or is it supposed to be like this? Hi folks! I used some components from other files in my project, and even though I removed them, I still see some Variables available in the “Page → Modes”. They are not available anywhere else. It doesn’t affect the project; when I select one, change the page, and then return to it, that mode is selected. I checked my file, and nothing leads to the other file anymore – no styles, variables, components, etc. It seems like a bug, and I see some variables pulled from another file, but can I remove it somehow?
Any idea how to change individual bullet point colors? Am I doing something wrong here… or is this a bug?

I tried to set the letter spacing to be 20% on using the font Proxima Nova, but when I type the word “Office”, the letter spacing is not showing the way I set after each lowercase “f”. No matter how I change the letter spacing, the letter after the lower case “f” always stick with the “f”. This situation only happens with the lowercase “f”, I’ve tried other letters the letter spacing works fine. Does anybody know how to resolve this problem? I have attached an image to better interpret the problem.
I’ve been a Figma supporter for years, but their new billing system is broken and unfair. I made a simple adjustment ONE DAY after my renewal date to adjust our team’s plan based in the new pricing model, and now we’re being charged for both the old and new seat, with no way to fix it. Here’s what happened: ✔️ My renewal hit on March 16 with 5 full seats. ✔️ On March 17, I downgraded 3 of those to developer seats since develpers don’t need full editing access. ✔️ Figma says my billing locked at renewal, so now I have to pay for both the full and developer seats. ✔️ Even if I switch back, I’m still charged the full amount. There’s no way to adjust it without extra fees. Figma support stopped responding after 20+ hours. So… anyone here working at Figma who can escalate this?
Hello I have to export a lot of assets for a client, can be several thousands. I noticed that when exporting, some assets still have that pixelated rendering that looks like progressive JPG. I’m quite sure this is because when exporting, Figma hasn’t finished loading all the HighRed images. So I tried scrolling through all my images at more than 100% zoom and waited for Figma to load the complete image when it wasn’t. Did that through all my assets, launched export, and it still had that pixelation on some of them. I think by the time I had scrolled through all my images, Figma just decided to go back to low res for some of them, which is not very nice… Do you guys have any idea how I could resolve this? Thanks
Another day, another bug in Figma! 20 billion well spent adobe…Now my component’s which are in linked library’s are not updating correctly. I literally have to go into each component, make a edit by selecting another component state, and then Figma will pop up saying theres an update for this component - i select update ALL as i usually do, but its only updating the selected instance of the component. all other versions of the same component in the same page are not being update until I select them and do the same thing! what is this? what am i paying for? Frustration? a 2gb limit which make creating even a simple flow almost impossible? the limits of this thing are becoming as increasingly problematic as the bugs. Please fix it, also stop double charging for edits, when they are different teams, one person can only make one set of edits at one given time! criminal
How to do the same with code that can be done via the UI (or the shortcut “Shift”+”Command” + “H”)? The “visible=true” property hides the section completely and not the same way as it can be done through the UI.
I saw this topic raised in the past. Wanted to surface it again because this continues to be an issue for me now and has been throughout the years I’ve been using Figma. Comments do not get copied over when duplicating a file or when exporting a .fig file. Has anyone found a workaround for this? @Figma_Support Is an update for this issue coming our way in the future?
