exceeded verification attempts for sheer id student account

I've been trying to get my sheet id verification so I can reverify my student account on spotify etc (I need to check if I got logged out in my other accounts that use sheer id, but Spotify was the first one I noticed). 

Firstly, my birth year was deemed invalid which made me reload the site a few times leading the website into saying "sheer id is facing issues in verifying me".

Secondly, i provided my documents: my fee for the 2025-2026 education year for my medical school as well as my class schedule of one of my classes for this month. Both were deemed invalid. I don't understand what else I can provide you. I resent my documents two more times thinking it might just be an error and now Im being told that I've exceeded the attempts to submit my documents for verification. 

 

Please help. I really don't have the means to pay for full prescriptions this year. Student offers are the only way i can afford things. If this is a taken away i don't know what I'll do.

You’re welcome! I see in the backend that our support team confirmed that SheerID has already responded and is currently reviewing your case.
 
At this point, we recommend continuing the conversation directly with SheerID, as education verifications are handled entirely by our verification partner. They have access to the verification tools and documentation needed to review and approve eligibility as quickly as possible. Thanks for your patience, I’ll go ahead and closed the topic here.

Hey ​@makamcharushree.7106 , thanks for reaching out and for sharing all that context! Just to clarify, SheerID is the third-party service that handles student verification for the Figma Education plan, so this is definitely the right place to flag it.

For the "verification attempts exceeded" error, this is something only SheerID can resolve on their end. Figma isn't able to reset or override verification attempts directly. The best next step is to contact SheerID's dedicated Figma support team who can look into your specific case:

When you reach out, it would help to include:
- The documents you submitted
- The error messages you encountered
- The email address associated with your Figma account

If you don't hear back from them after some time, or run into any other issues along the way, feel free to also reach out to education@figma.com. Hope this gets sorted quickly for you! 🙏

Thank you so much for a prompt reply. I've sent the mails to both the aforementioned emails. Hoping for a response soon.
