I created an app with Figma Make and I'm trying to select an element inside a container with the pointer tool. However, because there's a shimmer effect layer over the container, I can't select any of the objects underneath, only this shimmer layer. How do I select the elements inside / beneath it?

Just to make sure I’m troubleshooting from the right angle, is the shimmer effect a component, a standalone layer, or something generated by Figma Make's AI? That'll help me figure out the best path forward.
In the meantime, it's worth trying a couple of things:
- Click once to select the shimmer layer, then press Enter to drill into the container and access the elements underneath
- Right-click the shimmer layer and look for "Select layer" in the context menu — this can sometimes let you navigate to layers beneath it directly
