What is meant by Figma Sites CMS not being available until late 2025 actually mean? I am having to explore other CMS solutions, as a result of the CMS not being available, only after having created a pretty extensive design system for an internal site, components, blocks, and templates. Any update would be extremely helpful.

It’s finally here! We really really do appreciate everyone’s patience. This one definitely took a lot longer than we initially expected.
A lot of work went into this release, but it’s just the start. Expect to see regular updates in the CMS space over the coming weeks/months.

While Figma Sites is already available in beta, the CMS functionality is still in development, which is why it’s planned for release later this year.

We’ve been following this thread for a couple of months now, and are curious if there is any update on the release window for Sites CMS (assuming it is still planned for a 2025 release). Can you please provide the good Figma community with some kind of update beyond waiting and monitoring the release notes page? It would really be great to get some sense of what to expect from the CMS side of the product.

The core of the CMS is ready, but we’ve been going through a couple of design iterations on how best to bind CMS data to elements on the canvas. We’ve landed on a pretty nice solution and are in the final phases of implementation. I believe we’re weeks away from releasing it into the public beta (not months).

Feature request: When connected to a full page, it would be great if it could also update other components based on which item in the collection is currently active.
