I have always logged in to Figma as [redacted by moderator to remove personal information] (connected via Google) but since Google made changes to domain "hotmail.com" (I assume hotmail not in use anymore), everytime I used that “hotmail”  account to login, figma automatically log my account as "gmail.com" instead of "hotmail.com" and I cannot see any of my documents or works, completely blank, basically new account.

Hi!To sum it up when applying for education Figma I used the wrong email account (I think it automatically logged in) and then thinking it was good idea I delete said account to verify my student status on new account. Now it said that I exceed the limit of verification. What do I do?

Hello,I applied Figma for Education using my school email, but I am having an issue with the verification process. When I click the verification link sent to my email, it does not show any student verification steps of document submission page. Instead, it immediately redirects me to Figma login page. After logging in, the Education plan still doesn’t appear in my account. And when I try again, it says that I have already been approved. Could you please check my verification statues and whether there is an issue with the link or account sync? Thank you.

Figma is a fucking scam, I've ask them to cancel my subscription, they doesn't fulfill it and continue to charge me next month.

Hi,I am trying to create a Make kit and I click Add items on your kit > Libraries and it lists down the libraries available in the organization. However, there are libraries that I need that are not shown on the list even if I search for them.Are there any settings required on our library files for it to be used in Make kits?

I no longer have access to my school email address. There are still project files I need on the figma account linked to that email! What do I do?

Hey, as you can read in the title, im a bit stuck on a document. it worked fine, then out the blue, the blend mode i set for the slide background (color density) stoped showing on preview and pdf export. did anybody encountered this issue ?  I really need to send this soon, and im pulling my hair out on this issue...

A few months ago, I setup a figma account for uni-related work using Google SSO with a temporary google account (format: ...@gtempaccount.com). Recently Google had upgraded it to a full google account, which involves a change in the gmail address (format: ...@gmail.com).When I tried to sign in to the figma account using the google account as per usual, it created a new figma account instead of signing me back into the original one. I tried to recover access by using the old temporary google account address, but that didn’t work because it was retired in the upgrade process.I have important files there that I need to access urgently, and I see no other possible way to access that original figma account. I tried all other available sign-in methods and none lead me back to that figma account.I have valid proof of the email upgradation, as well as viewer-only access to a figma file owned by that original figma account. In Figma, when I hold option key and mouse over a specific area the spacing appears between the select item and the edges of the thing you're mouse over. However, in the past it was scoped to the edges of the direct parent and now it is set to the outer parent.  

I’ve been cleaning up my tokens and recently found somethings not working correctly. When I create an alias link from a component token to a semantic, the DM only show the LM color, not the DM color from the semantic token. this is the semantic token i’m linking to.Semantic tokensThis is the component token pointing to the semantic token component tokensYou can see the component’s DM isn’t displaying correctly, it’s displaying the LM color. But the components themselves are displaying correctly. ​​​​​​

I'm unable to publish figma make - Button publish disappear

Hello Team, while accessing figma make my team is unable to use. As it is showing loading screen only. It would be great help if you could provide a solution. ​​​​​​as i can see in network setting it shows below url blocked. does it make any difference? 

While publishing Design kit in Figma Make, after click publish, i receive "Failed to load fields" and retry action, however nothing happens after clock on retry. Also, in the modal publish action is in the disable state.

Only message i see, i’m the only owner of file and deffenetly didn’t delete it. Its not in drafts or trash. What should i do? 

Hello, I haven’t received a reply for my ticket so I thought about writing here instead. I recently noticed that I have been charged $40 USD a month since January-April, without me knowing(yes it’s my fault for not being cautious of reading my bills) but I have never had a subscription and haven’t been using Figma since late December of 2025. I never received any invoice emails regarding these charges either.I have checked my account and it’s still on the Standard Free account, so what happened here? Am I not aware of a feature that would charge me or am I getting scammed by someone else? My bank account is also not connected to the billing system in Figma. If there is no problem or such I want to kindly request for a refund, at least for the last few months.It would be great if I got a reply soon since I need to deal with my bank if I am being charged from an unknown party.Thank you!

When I am using Obsidian and paste in a markdown table, the table is pasted into the 1st slide no matter what. For example, I’m on slide 5, paste the table, it goes to the first one. It is impossible for me to move it to the appropriate slide.

I have completed all the steps required to verify my student account, but I am still experiencing issues. My account remains on the free plan, which limits its functionality.I am currently a Computer Science student at the Integrated University of Alto Uruguai and Missões (URI). My institutional email is: [redacted by forum admin/moderator to remove PII]I have already tried the available verification methods, but none have worked so far. I noticed that some colleagues faced a similar issue and were able to resolve it by submitting proof of enrollment or other documents confirming their student status.I am fully willing to provide any necessary documentation to complete the verification process. when i try to export library to figma make, there is error tip: “We ran into an error while extracting your library” and I try to export only one very simple component it doesn't work.
