How to fix the “Live preview failed” issue in Figma Make? I did the troubleshoot and immediate fixes available in the internet like: refreshing the page, duplicating the page, opening in different browsers. It is still working properly on March 13, 2026 but the problem started on March 16, 2026

Hi @Alexandre_MBB, Celyn from Figma Community Support here.

Thanks for sharing these details — I understand you’re seeing a “Live preview failed” error in Make since March 16, and I appreciate you outlining the steps you’ve already tried.

I’ve gone ahead and created a support ticket (#1800808) so the team can take a closer look.

When you have a moment, please share the impacted file with support-share@figma.com and grant “Can View” access — this will not impact your billing and will allow us to reproduce the issue and investigate further with Engineering.

The team will follow up with you via the inbox associated with your Figma account. Appreciate your patience while we look into this 🙏

Saw the Figma support looked up the Figma Make but the issue is still the same. Still waiting for their update/solutions.

Hi @Alexandre_MBB @Evelyne Cote — thanks for following up here.

Sorry to hear you’re still running into this. Could you try a couple of things to see if they help?

  • Revert to an earlier version of the file to check if that restores the preview
  • Prompt the AI to resolve the issue and see if it’s able to recover the file on its own

@Alexandre_MBB — I also took a look at your ticket (#1800808) and saw the team followed up on March 23. When you have a moment, could you check your inbox and continue the conversation there?

@Evelyne Cote — if the issue is still happening, could you submit a bug report so the team can take a closer look?

You can do that by:
• Going to the Support Hub
• Clicking Start a chat
• Typing “Report a bug”

Once submitted, please also share a direct link to the impacted file, and invite support-share@figma.com and grant “Can View” access. This will not impact your billing and will allow us to reproduce the issue and investigate with Engineering.

Thanks again — appreciate you both taking the time to flag this.

I am also experiencing this issue. I did just recently update Figma.

Hey @RalphCut! Thanks for your reply.

If you haven’t yet, I recommend trying the steps that @Celyn_L mentioned above:

  • Revert to an earlier version of the file to check if that restores the preview
  • Prompt the AI to resolve the issue and see if it’s able to recover the file on its own

If you have or that doesn’t resolve this for you, then I recommend submitting a bug report so our team can take a closer look at your file in particular. To do that, visit the Support Hub, click on Start a chat, then type “Report a bug”. After submitting, please share a direct link to the file and invite support-share@figma.com with “Can View” access. Note that this will not impact your billing and allows us to reproduce and investigate the issue with Engineering. ‘

If you have any trouble let me know!

I’m also having the same issue. Prompted the AI to resolve but it didn't work, it send me this message:
"The code is working properly. If the app runs locally but fails in a shared preview, it is definitely an environment/infrastructure issue on Figma Make."

Hey @Orion Mercado, thanks for sharing the message you encountered.

Just a quick check if you have tried the steps mentioned above?

  • Revert to an earlier version of the file to check if that restores the preview
  • Prompt the AI to resolve the issue and see if it’s able to recover the file on its own

If you have and that doesn’t resolve the issue for you, I recommend submitting a bug report so our team can take a closer look at your specific file.

Please visit the Support Hub, click on Start a chat, then type “Report a bug”.

After submitting, it will be really helpful if you could share a direct link to the file and invite support-share@figma.com with “Can View” access (note that this will not impact your billing and allows us to reproduce and investigate the issue with Engineering).

Thanks.
