AI Credits Incorrectly Reduced

Hello,

I am the owner and only member of my Starter team workspace.

On August 2, I used Figma Make for one AI generation. After it completed, my AI Balance showed 332 credits remaining.

I did not perform any further AI generations after that.

On August 4, my account shows 0 AI credits remaining until Sep 1.

Could you please check my AI credit usage history and explain how my remaining credits were consumed? If this is expected behavior, could you please explain why my balance changed from 332 to 0 without any additional AI actions?

Thank you.

Hey @Sharma_Vaibhav, thanks for reaching out!

Happy to share some general context on how AI credits work for Starter plan teams, since part of this lines up with expected behaviour and part of it doesn't:

  1. A Full seat on the Starter plan includes 500 AI credits per month, plus a daily cap of 150 credits. The monthly credits reset on your team's usage cycle, and the daily cap resets the following day.
  2. Figma Make's credit cost varies per generation based on task complexity, the model used, and how much context is involved (attached files, chat history, etc.). A single more involved generation can use a meaningful chunk of your monthly balance, which would be consistent with the drop to 332 credits after your first generation.
  3. What isn't expected is your balance going from 332 to 0 with no further AI actions on your end. That's not something I can explain from what's visible here, and I also can't review account-specific credit history on the forum for privacy and security reasons.

I've opened a support ticket (#2042215) so our customer support team can take a closer look at your account's credit usage directly. Keep an eye on the email associated with your Figma account, and we'll follow up there.

In the meantime, here's more detail on How AI credits work, including how the Starter plan's monthly and daily limits interact.

Thank you,
