I have a line in an auto layout in Figma. The auto layout settings are all correct, however, the line displays (looks) like it's in the wrong spot visually, if that makes sense. The first screenshot (line in the middle of the text) is what it looks like when the issue is occurring. I go in, and all I do is move the line's position to a different spot in the layer stack, then I move it back to where it was before, and then it looks like how it's supposed to (second screenshot, line right above the buttons).Based on my research it seems that this is a known issue with Auto Layout (though I couldn’t find an official support ticket or anything I could reference for ways to fix the issue). I already cleared the cache in the Figma app and this keeps happening. It’s also frustrating because I’ll navigate to a different page in my Figma file and come back (after it was displaying in the correct place) and the divider line will be in the wrong spot again.Any ti

Hello,I am facing repeated issues with the Figma Education reverification process and need support from the Figma team or advice from others who may have faced this problem. I am from India and currently part of higher education. I was previously part of the Figma Education program, but now my account requires reverification. I tried multiple valid documents (Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, College Student ID) but each attempt failed. I carefully followed all SheerID guidelines (flat dark surface, proper lighting, no glare/shadows, full frame, both sides of ID). I contacted SheerID Support, but they confirmed: They cannot manually verify IDs via email. The government ID check must be done only through the platform.

It doesn’t generate a version for restoring either. It just stops working. This only happens since it was instructed to let the user know every detail it’s doing.

I am trying to use the plugin between UX pilot and figma but when I try to add my desktop screens , it doesn’t work and just turns into a grey bar. The screens from UX Pilot, they’re “saved for figma” but it is not working. Any help? 

Hi, I am a teacher in higher ed and I need a Figma pro subscription to teach my students more about the program. I’ve (successfully) applied for the educator program and used the Pro features for a few days, after which I got a message to re-verify my account. When I try to do this I get a message saying that my limit was exceeded. I haven’t re-verified once, and I’ve already contacted SheerID who told me they cannot do anything and I need to contact Figma directly.Since I cannot find any matching info or ticket adresses I am posting my question here.I would be grateful for any help so that I can start using Figma for education again.Cheers 

Hi Team, Figma Desktop crashes frequently. It is happening after the recent update. Below Error message is coming whenever it is crashed, even for small figma file it is crashing.   

I received a message from someone trying to link me to a “course” via a whatsapp number. There is no option to block or report this person or to delete the message.

I am getting an error when I go to publish the file, it does not tell me what the error is to fix.

We're currently experiencing an issue with Google authentication in our Figma Make + Supabase setup. When a user attempts to sign up using their Google account, the user is successfully created in Supabase, but the OAuth callback URL doesn't work as expected. As a result, the user isn't redirected to the authenticated part of the application. This breaks the login flow, effectively preventing access to the app despite the user being created in the Supabase auth table.

I’m signed in under my personal email in standard account. I have tabs currently open on my desktop that I can’t access. Some are drafts some are saved. I used to be associated with a previous company (Accolade) but my personal email would have not been used for that figma account. Some of the drafts that I’ve recently started are also not displaying in ‘recent files’. Please advise.

The client has shared a file with me and given me “can edit” rights, but I cant edit. I am getting this error “An Admin needs to update your seat so you can edit file”. Any ideas? Thanks

I’m receiving an error of “user does not have editing permissions to modify file edit requests” even though the email from figma to approve the request is coming to my inbox, and I am in fact both the creator and the owner of said file. There are several files I need to edit and they are seemingly stuck in a limbo state and in an endless loop. Also: Please bring back email addresses displayed along with the user names so we can clearly, and efficiently identify overlaps or gaps in users who have multiple emails but identical display user on names.

Hi,I’m experiencing an issue with the “Change to Variant” interaction:I created a simple component with two variants.Added an interaction: On click → Change to → Variant2 (Instant animation).When I open Present mode and click the trigger element, nothing happens.What I have already tried:Tested both in desktop app and browser (Chrome / Edge) – same result.Created a completely new file with a simple rectangle component and two variants – still not working.Tried clearing cache, re-logging, restarting the app.My account is on the Free (Starter) plan, but according to the docs this feature should be available. It looks like the prototyping engine simply ignores “Change to Variant”.Could someone from the Figma team or community help me figure out what might be blocking variant switching?Thanks in advance!

Hi Figma Team,After the recent update introducing the "Draw" section, I was excited to explore the new brushes. I used the "Hardboiled" brush to create a scribbled, comical-style character for a client project. While the brush gave me the visual effect I was aiming for, I quickly ran into major performance issues.The design file became increasingly laggy, eventually consuming over 60% of system memory. I couldn’t move the character across screens, save my work reliably, or even build more than a few poses without the entire file slowing down dramatically. For a brush tool focused on loose sketching, I was surprised to see it demand such heavy resources for what is essentially vector scribbling.Would love to see optimizations for brush-based drawings in future updates — especially to support comic or sketch-based workflows.Thanks for your time and great work otherwise.

When I’m working in figma slides or other, the bibliography quote doesn’t paste successfully.  When I copy a bibliography quote (in my case from Zotero) with Italics and Regular texts, figma doesn’t apply the text format (or without) in the design/board.I would like that issue will be fixed in further updates. Have not been able to use my Figma on chemo for past 3days now 

I canceled my plan a while ago, but I would like to go back and download my invoices. However, there is no button or option showing up. I simply need to download my invoices.I tried following the best answer in the community forum, but I still couldn’t find it.
