Your latest update broke images in a very important file and may have put a project in jeopardy. You forced this update on us. Now I have multiple broken image files that CANNOT be replaced. They appear as translucent rectangles that cannot be selected for more than a couple of seconds before disappearing. Too bad Adobe axed their offering. I am no longer an evangelist and feel forced to use your tool. Additionally, you uninstalled ALL of my plugins so as soon as another tool becomes adopted by the industry I am out. You cost me money. I have been customer since you launched, but will not be the first chance I get. Hopefully Protopie or Framer catches on quicker.

i changed the color of the text which belongs to the table and color doesn’t change at all when it comes to the template color i think color style doesn’t work inside the table the color of the text only changes when it’s a raw color code, not a template-styled color. please help me , figma slide!

Hi everyone, I recently opened my project and noticed that some fonts have been replaced with default system fonts. I checked my installed fonts, and they seem to be there, but Figma still shows a missing font warning. Could this be an issue with Figma’s font service, or do I need to manually re-install the fonts? Thanks!

When I try to put these stupid layers into other layers it just doesn’t want to go in for some stupid reason.

A big set of Unicode characters can be represented in both text (e.g. ↗︎) and emoji variants (e.g. ↗️). For example, the base character, Up-right arrow is \u2197 . To know which variant is supposed to be rendered, variation selectors are defined in the Unicode standard: ↗️ = \u2197\ufe0f ↗︎ = \u2197\ufe0e Figma (and Figjam) however, do not respect this, instead the used variant is dependent on the used font, which isn't the expected behavior. This behavior of Figma is consistent in Chrome and Firefox on at least Linux and Android. This also is not a problem with the fonts itself.

I can’t seem to get access to UI3. I tried quitting and restarting. Checked for updates (it was updated). Yet, when I go to the helper, it says I’m on the latest version, with no option to update. Please help. Thank you!

I’m using Figma on the web with an 11in iPad Pro M4. When I click the text styles button with a text box selected it appears to be impossible to actually apply one of the styles. It selects the menu item but it doesn’t actually apply it. I’ve tried this both with my finger and Apple Pencil.

A very annoying problem, pretty sure it is either a bug, or something really dumb. When I click on a figma file (browsing from my computer), the file loads, everything seems to be fine (the layer panel is full, but nothing is displayed no matter what I do. I can even create a shape, it’ll be added in the layer panel but not displayed, even in visible mode. I cleared all my computer cache, still nothing. When I access the file from my phone (browser), with the same network, everything works fine and the design is displayed. I checked the log, I have errors that I don’t know how to solve. I don’t really know what I’m doing wrong… Any idea how to fix this?

Hi, For the past two weeks, I’ve been experiencing high CPU usage while using Figma, leading to lag, freezes, and even Mac reboots (MacBook Air M1, 2020, 16GB, Ventura 13.1). The issue worsens when running prototypes. I’ve tried the following troubleshooting steps, but none have resolved the issue: Using Figma in a browser instead of the desktop app; Disconnecting my external monitor; Clearing the cache. My developer noticed that a set of color variables outputs a different hex code than is defined in the variables. The variables are defined as follows: Cream/100: #F8EEE2 Text/impact-inverse: cream/100 dev mode outputs Text/impact-inverse as #F9F0E6 When I detach cream/100 from type/impact-inverse it displays the proper hex code (#F8EEE2). I don’t even have a guess as to what the issue might be. Attached are the screenshots he sent me to describe the issue.

Hey there, I’m looking into a component in DevMode and I noticed that when opening the playground, if I change the variable mode, the fonts aren’t changing, like the colors for example. In design mode, by changing the variable it all works just fine. Is this a known issue, are there any solutions…? Thank you!

This should be very simple: I have a component with 2 variants. Variant1 has a text layer which is not underlined text, and Variant2 has the same text layer (same layer name of course), which is underlined text. I added a hover interaction on Variant1 to change to Variant2 When I test it out in the prototype, the underlined text doesn’t show up on hover. To make sure the variant switch is happening on hover, I changed the background of Variant2, and sure enough, the background change does happen on hover. So for some reason the text underline is just not happening. This is a bug, right? Any workarounds?

In a Figma library file, we have an icon set as separate components. The icons are multiple shape objects, i.e. they are not compound paths. All the icons should be monochrome in any state. If we replace one icon(component) with another only parts of the icon will inherit the colours from its replacement. The rest of the icon shapes will pick their colour from the colour applied to the icons as Main Components. Can anyone help with troubleshooting this or confirm that this is a bug?

Last year, we had two Full Figma seats. However, later on last year, a user with Full Figma seat was removed from the team. It looks like we missed the announcement of the new billing model, so this year we have to pay for two Full Figma seats with one "Available" seat. This is very unexpected. Besides, after looking around in the Admin page, we can't seem to find anywhere we could adjust the number of Paid seats. Everywhere there's a "Manage" button, we're led back to the People page, where it's only information. We may need to contact Support for further assistant, but may I ask what the problem it is? Is it because we missed a note where we could select to keep the “Available" seat or not, or is there any misunderstanding?

When enabling the “resource use” tool available under the View menu in the tool bar when inside of a FigJam board, the resource use information is positioned behind the Figma FigJam UI in the top left corner by default. You can click and drag it to a different corner so you can actually read it, but by default, it seems to be in the top left corner behind the File Name/Pages UI.

Previously when you’re viewing a Figma file as a viewer (so without edit permissions) you could hover over variables in the properties panel to view its (px) value. This seems to be broken now as there no longer is any hover state anymore. This means it’s a lot more difficult to figure out values such as corner radius when you’re not an editor.

I bought my first seat paying annually, then I bought two more seats in succession. I’m being charged monthly for them, but want to be charged annually. It vaguely seems like this might happen automatically at the start of the next month?? I’m not sure because the help is unclear.

Hello folks, I need help unpublishing a library. I followed all the steps listed on the help page, yet I can still see that file with the gray icon instead of blue (meaning it’s still a library), and when I hit on “Libraries” in any file, I can still see it there and enable it. I think it’s a bug because I follow the steps and things works as supposed, but once unpublished nothing changes in the UI (not even quitting and re-opening Figma again): I open the file that was published as a library I click on “Assets” and on the “Library” icon (book) I click on the current file I click on “Unpublish” It throws a double confirmation modal where I click on “Remove” I get a “Successfuly unpublished library” Nothing changed 🤷 It still appears in the Libraries modal in any other file and is still available for enabling it. Plus, as I said earlier, the file icon won’t revert to blue instead of gray. Is anybody else having the same issue? (BTW: Using Figma’s MacOS app)

When clicking any element in dev mode the values for spacing etc. are always shown on the center of the main axis which may not be on screen which is pretty annoying: In the following image you can see the problem, only a small portion of the blue spacing name is visible (/40) and you cant see the spacing of red/pink area at all without scrolling.
