Hi, ​@Tamakia Carter. Thanks for your post - sounds like you’re having a confusing time with your file. 

What kind of file are you working with - is it Figma Design, Figma Sites, or Figma Make? Once I know what you’re working with, I can give you more info on what options are available to you regarding using it as a website.

Also, was this a file you created yourself or were you invited to it by the owner? If you were invited by the owner and they only gave you a View seat, they will either need to upgrade you to a Full seat or export/publish themselves depending on the type of file.
