BUG: Prototype Play opens incorrect frames and displays random pages instead of running prototype

When running a prototype in the Figma design file, the prototype sometimes launches from unrelated pages instead of the intended starting frame.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open the Figma design file.

  2. Click Present / Play Prototype.

  3. Expect the prototype to start from the configured starting frame.

Actual result:
Instead of starting from the intended frame, the prototype repeatedly opens the same two unrelated pages/frames. The correct prototype flow cannot be accessed while this occurs.

Expected result:
The prototype should launch from the defined starting frame and follow the configured interactions.

Workaround:
Closing the file and reopening it temporarily resolves the issue, after which the prototype behaves normally. However, the issue reappears intermittently during later sessions.

Notes:

  • Issue appears intermittently.

  • Seems to cache or persist incorrect starting points until the file is reopened.
