The Figma menu items “Simplify vector” and “Offset vector” appear to be orphaned at the end of the menu, especially when a “Vector” node exists, which is where they should logically belong. It doesn’t affect functionality, but it clearly looks like a bug.
I’ve encountered an issue that makes components harder to implement while using slots.Figma MCP doesn’t return any values for the flex properties, which makes no sense, because you need to manually specify what is already there and is available for other layers and adds more friction to the workflow itself. The annotation property exposing doesn’t work as well for some reason, so the only solution is to describe it using plain text. Can i get a confirmation that this is an intended logic or bug that will be addressed? Attaching example of output for slots, along with annotation that has exposed properties below:export default function TestSlotComp({ className, prop1stSlot2 = null, prop2ndSlot = null }: TestSlotCompProps) { return ( <div className={className || ""} data-name="test-slot-comp" data-node-id="2989:4635"> <div className="content-stretch flex flex-col gap-[var(--spacing\/0,0px)] items-start min-w-[1440px] p-[var(--spacing\/0,0px)] relative w-[1440px]" data-na
This is my first time using figma make, so when I wasn’t seeing the prototype in the right canvas I just thought that it would reveal the prototype after we finished it. But after spending the whole evening prompting the specifics for my task flow the prototype is nowhere to be found. I included a screenshot if that helps.
Hi,I’m hitting 429 rate limits when calling the Figma REST API (Images endpoint, Tier 1) in a way that doesn’t match the documented behavior for my plan and seat. My setupPlan: Professional (Pro) Seat: Full (editor on the files I’m calling the API for) Use case: Plugin that exports frame images via GET /v1/images/:file_key (Tier 1) for UX audits What I’m seeingResponse: 429 Too Many RequestsHeaders:X-Figma-Plan-Tier: proX-Figma-Rate-Limit-Type: lowRetry-After: 396749 (~4.5 days) According to your rate limits documentation, X-Figma-Rate-Limit-Type: low is for Viewer/Collab seats (e.g. Tier 1 “up to 6/month”), while Full/Dev should get high (e.g. 15/min on Pro). So with a Pro Full seat I would expect high and per-minute limits, not low and a multi-day Retry-After. What I’ve already checkedThe files I’m requesting are in my own Pro team/workspace where I have full editing access.I’ve seen the same pattern reported by others, e.g. in this forum thread. What I’m askingWhy does the API retu
TLDR: I’m experiencing an obvious bug in Figma Sites related to lightboxed marquee elements, related to the directional movement of the marquee (left or right). One of the pages on the website I’m building in Figma Sites is comprised of four rows of marquees. Every other row is moving in the opposite direction -- first and third are moving left, second and fourth right. Each individual element of the marquee is a clickable lightbox. This was all functioning perfectly for a few hours, but now, all of a sudden, the second and fourth rows (right moving marquees) are not clickable/the lightbox function is not working. I cleared my cache, reloaded the page, etc to no effect. In desperation I changed the direction of the marquee to the left, and suddenly the lightbox interaction for each individual image became functional again. This is clearly a bug! This site is supposed to go live in the next few days and I’m losing my mind over here. Can anyone address this issue?
Missing Publish as Template optionI tried to follow this article (https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/articles/34716344138519-Create-and-update-a-template-in-Figma-Make), but I can’t see the “Publish as template” option. I’m the owner and an editor of this file. Anyone knows what’s going on?

Hi Figma Team,I've been experiencing a fatal bug for the last two days. Whenever I make a tiny change in "Figma Make," the entire prototype preview crashes and stays broken for 10-30+ minutes. I cannot preview any pages or my latest work during this time. This has effectively halted my productivity. As a paid user, I need this fixed urgently. Please see the attached screenshot for the error state.Thank you.
A recent update makes it so it lists out every excruciating detail on what it intends to do based on your prompt:Let me check the exact spacing around that section: Let me get the exact text: Let me be more specific: Let me check the current state of the file: Let me try just updating the className: Let me check the exact formatting: Let me try the exact line number approach: Let me try again with proper spacing: Let me try a different approach - let me look at a larger context around this area:50+ messages later and it stops processing and fails to complete the prompt. It doesn’t generate a version for restoring either. It just stops working. This only happens since it was instructed to let the user know every detail it’s doing.
This is what I want to connect pathThe permissions look rightHi Figma community, I’m trying to use the newly released Code Connect UI and link it to a GitHub repository in our org. The GitHub App appears to be installed and authorized correctly (see attached screenshots). However, when I reach the “Select directory / path” step, the search field doesn’t return any directories. Typing known folders (e.g., src, packages, app) shows “No results.” ExpectedBeing able to search/filter directories in the repo and select one. ActualThe path/directory search returns no results and the list stays empty. What we’ve checked/tried GitHub App permissions look correct (org + repo installed; read access where required) Tried both Figma web and desktop (macOS), including a private/incognito session Disconnected/reconnected Code Connect, reinstalled the GitHub App, refreshed the repo list Reproduces on a monorepo (/packages/*) and a simpler single-package repo Questions Is path/directory search g
I’m not able to publish any of my Figma Make projects. I have this error “Publishing is currently unavailable. Please try again later.”
When I go to Plugins → Manage plugins → Publish new version, I immediately get this error:“Figma detected a change to your account details, which is blocking you from continuing with publishing your plugin.”I have not changed my email, password, or any account settings recently.I am on the Starter plan and cannot publish my plugin update. My account email: [redacted customer PII - DJV 3/11/26]Plugin name: FigmaToJSONPlease help me remove this restriction so I can publish a new version.Thank you!

Hello Figma Support,I accidentally permanently deleted a Figma file from the Trash.I understand that permanent deletion usually cannot be undone, but I wanted to ask if it might still be possible to recover the file from server-side backups.File name: Swizz.aiFile URL (if available):https://www.figma.com/design/f4h20xSmqhfP79ChsPR8y2/Swizz.ai?node-id=526-9245&t=o9uQu9AdGBcZXb5V-1Workspace: Syntech AGThis file is very important for my project. I would really appreciate it if you could check whether recovery is still possible.Thank you very muchSyntech
My Make projet sudenly generates multiple errors and then crashes, including unrecognized DOM elements and duplicate imports, but I've changed nothing since this worked fine about a week ago. Hi Figma Support Team,I'm writing to request a cancellation and refund for my recently purchased Professional (Full Seat) plan at $20/month, which I subscribed to under a fundamental misunderstanding of how Figma's permission system works. What happened:A colleague invited me to collaborate on their team project. After accepting the invitation, I noticed I only had view-only access and could not edit any files. Assuming this was a plan limitation on my end, I immediately upgraded to an individual Professional plan, expecting it would grant me editing access to the team project. However, after subscribing, I still have no editing rights in the team project. The $20 charge has been applied, but I am completely unable to use the feature I paid for. What I've since learned:I now understand that in Figma, editing permissions within a team are governed by the team's plan and the seat assignments made by the team admin — not by the individual subscriber's plan tier. My individual Pro plan only u
I really need help. My original Figma account was hacked, and someone changed the registered email address without my permission. I can no longer log in or receive any password reset emails. This account contains more than 5–6 years of all my design work, projects, and everything I’ve built as a designer. These files are extremely important to me.I still own and control the original email address that was used to register the account. I also accidentally created a new empty Figma account later, but I have already changed its email to free up my original email.I have sent emails to Figma support and submitted a ticket, but I haven’t received a reply yet. I’m not a paid user, but these files are irreplaceable to my career and life.Has anyone else experienced this? Can someone from Figma Support please help me recover my account and restore my original email? I can provide any proof to verify that I am the rightful owner.I’m really anxious and desperate for help. Thank you so much.
Hi team, I have a professional account that I’m paying yearly under email: [redacted by forum moderator to remove PII]I no long have access to that email due to closure of the business and I cannot access when I go through the 2FA process. Is there another way? Maybe via my mobile number? Or another email?
Members of our team are unable to register accounts and also fail to receive the relevant emails. However, the email addresses of the other people are correct. When we send them emails, they can also receive them.
Hello, classic cmd+c is great if I need to take my notes from figma to another place, such as a company chat. Here is the sticky-note with almost all layers used and visible: Here is the sticky note and what is copied:I think this is unexpected behavior. What do you think?
When I try to open a branch from the main file by clicking “Open,” nothing happens. There’s no loading state or error message, it just doesn’t respond. The workaround I found is to open it directly from the Home screen or by copying the branch link and opening it using “Open file URL from Clipboard”
Hello Figma Support Team,I was charged for the Full Professional Plan in a monthly basis when I did not change my seat since I purchased my annual Collab Professional Plan. I looked at when the seat change was made according to the invoice and it was Feb 16. I did not have any activity history on figma a month ago to accidentally change my seat. Please, I am a student and I dont have a lot of money, I cannot afford 208 dollars. I would never make that change. I was not even notified that my seat was changed on Feb 16 2026. I was not even on Figma when I was charged at 1:22am. Please review this change, I swear I didnt make any changes on Feb 16, please i dont have the money. Thank you.

Body (최적화 버전)Hello,I would like to ask for clarification regarding my recent billing. On March 9, I paid $16.50 for a Dev Seat, which should cover the billing period until April 8.The invoice code for that payment is LYKGRSYB-0001.While working in my workspace, I accidentally upgraded a team member to a Full Seat.I understand that this action was my mistake, and I am not requesting a refund for the seat upgrade itself. However, I noticed that my upcoming invoice shows a charge of $40 for two Full Seats on April 9.Since I had already paid for the Dev Seat on March 9, I expected that upgrading to a Full Seat during the same billing cycle would only charge the prorated difference between the Dev Seat and the Full Seat, rather than a full additional charge.Because of this, I would like to confirm whether the current billing correctly reflects the previously paid Dev Seat period (March 9 – April 8).Could you please help review this billing and clarify: Why the $40 charge for two Full Seats ap
