Went on vacation for 3 weeks, come back, and now my magic “select all matching layers” button is gone. Why?I used to be able to select all matching layers within a section. that is now gone!Lately it seems like Figma is dead set on disrupting all of my workflows!

I’m experiencing a very strange and specific bug with the Layers panel visibility toggle. What happensI click the eye icon on any layer to hide it, this works normally. After that single click, if I simply hover the mouse over other layer names (not on their eye icons), those layers also turn off one by one. The only way to stop it is to click anywhere on the screen. It feels like the “click and drag to multi-toggle visibility” feature is getting stuck in the “button still held down” state after a normal click.It happens in every file (not file-specific).A friend checked on his machine and does not have this issue, so it appears to be local to my setup. When it startedI was working normally. I left the computer running for about 2 hours (no updates, no crashes, nothing unusual). Hello,I’m writing to dispute the recent charges on my account. I noticed that my subscription has suddenly increased significantly despite the fact that I did not add any new seats, upgrade my plan, or otherwise authorize a change to my subscription.My subscription was previously $23.80/month for the last few years, but I was suddenly charged $88.86 in July and have now been billed $71.40 for August for 3 Professional seats.I did not add these seats, upgrade my subscription, or authorize these charges. I also have not used Figma in several months.Please:Refund the $88.86 July charge Cancel/reverse the $71.40 August invoice Remove any additional seats that I did not authorize Confirm that no further charges will be madePlease investigate how these seats were added and resolve this billing issue as soon as possible. Hello Figma Support Team,​I have reviewed the breakdown you sent, and I find it completely absurd and unacceptable. You are charging me an exorbitant amount of $379.32 USD, which includes over $280 in supposed "AI credits" and pay-as-you-go add-ons that I never consciously authorized.​This automated billing model is an opaque trap for users. I am not willing to tolerate surprise charges that spiked on their own without clear on-screen warnings. I need this resolved and a full refund issued immediately.​Given this abuse, my relationship with Figma is canceled permanently, and my card is already blocked for security.​I demand a response and confirmation of my money being returned right now.​Sincerely,Lizbeth Rivas

I am trying to upload a large file (1GB+), but every time I try, Figma crashes. Unfortunately I am unable to see the file from its original location to edit the file and reduce the file size. Is there any way to fix this?

I have observed that the Figma application experiences lag on Android devices, and I believe this may be attributed to its utilization of a webview interface. While I am not a technical expert, I have noticed that Figma performs flawlessly within the Brave browser on Android. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

When resizing a rectangle or ellipse, or any sort of shape object, dimensions are tethered to the relative top-left corner of the shape—meaning that any increasing or decreasing of the width and height would happen relative to the shape’s top-left corner. This is helpful, since I can rotate an object 180°, and that resizing anchor would move with it, allowing me to adjust dimensions from the bottom right corner. However, recently the shortcut associated with adjusting those dimensions (Cmd + Directional Arrows) now ignores this rule, making it so that resizing any shape with these shortcuts is always resized relative to the absolute top left corner, no matter the shape’s rotation. This requires me to make those adjustments solely using the Width and Height fields, which is pretty tedious. Similarly, corner radii are also now anchored to the absolute top-left. But when multiple objects of different rotations are selected, then it uses the relative top-left corner. So I have to use a wor

I’ve been building a few more complex layouts with nested Auto Layout frames, and I’ve noticed that things can become a little unpredictable when fixed-width elements are combined with Fill Container and Hug Contents. A small change to one element can sometimes cause several other layers to resize or shift in ways that aren’t immediately obvious.What makes it more confusing is that the same layout can behave differently depending on how deeply the frames are nested. I understand that Auto Layout has a specific sizing logic, but when working with a larger component, it can take quite a bit of trial and error to figure out which setting is actually causing the issue.I’m wondering how other designers usually structure complex Auto Layout components to keep the sizing predictable. Do you try to avoid mixing fixed and flexible sizing where possible, or is there a better approach for handling these kinds of layouts?

Sanity check before I submit this as a bug or feature request:Is there an easy, non-destructive way to make Figma show drop shadows on the inside of a closed path, like a circle?I don’t want to use Outline Stroke since that’s destructive. I’m trying to keep it as a normal editable circle and have it behave like it does in apps like Sketch or Affinity Designer, where a drop shadow on a stroke renders on both sides of the path.Same editable circle, inside stroke, and drop shadow setup. Figma doesn’t render the shadow inside the closed path, while Sketch creates the expected inner-shadow effect without outlining the stroke. 

Hello I’m trying to import my Figma make work to VS code and I looked at several tutorial videos and they don’t seem to be much help. If anyone knows how to do it please send make a video of it, I learn better that way.

"Frame selection" shortuct (Ctrl+Alt+G) not working

Hello Community,Today I encountered this bug in two completely different libraries that are not linked in any way and share nothing with each other; each has its own variables and components. I also asked two coworkers to test the scenario to see if they encountered the same bug in both libraries, and the result was the same, even though they were using different computers and operating systems. So it seems the bug is real, and I'm only noticing it today; it wasn't happening a few days ago.The bug is this: I have four breakpoints as variables in my UI Kit:Desktop: 1920pxWide Tablet: 1260pxTablet: 768pxMobile: 375pxHere's where it happens:I create a simple auto-frame, with no layers or anything inside. I apply the breakpoints variable for desktop (1920px) and two padding variables that work perfectly (280px and 120px). Previously, when export the frames, the pdf pages were combined into one pdf file. Now, it suddenly changed with separated pdf files per each pages. So I have to merge the pdf files. I do not understand why it changed to this burden way. Please restore the pdf export function. Any other thoughts?

Prototypes embedded in Figma Slides no longer allow full vertical scrolling during presentation, even though vertical scrolling works correctly when the prototype is played directly. This appears to be a regression, as the same slides and prototypes worked previously. Whats happening: In the past, I’ve been able to embed interactive prototypes into Figma Slides and present them with full vertical scrolling enabled.Today, I created a new slide deck and added a prototype, but the vertical canvas scroll does not work as expected during slide presentation, despite working correctly when the prototype is played on its own.After noticing this, I went back and checked older slide decks where this behavior previously worked, and I’m now seeing the same scrolling issue there as well. Current behaviour for me:Scrolling only works within the initial height that was loaded when the slide was presented.  Hello, I am on a verified Education plan and have moved my published Figma Make file into my Education team. My site is live at vivianwangdramaticworks.figma.site. In Make Settings → Domains, I only see Base domain and Edit domain. When I select Edit domain, I can only change the existing figma.site subdomain, and I do not see any option to add or connect a custom domain. I have already purchased a custom domain and need to connect it to this Figma Make site. Can you confirm whether custom domains are supported for Figma Make on the Education plan, or whether this requires Professional, Organization, or Enterprise?

Every frame in Presentation Mode has a gray hairline stroke around it - where in design mode it is just white fills over page fills. Any solution?

Figma wipes out the id on elements when importing SVGs. If I name an element with id="ElementKey123" in the SVG, it arrives in Figma with the layer named something like just "Vector" instead of the desired "ElementKey123". This adds lots of wasted time to my workflows. I have tools that consume SVGs to generate interactive visuals, and they need elements to stay named correctly. And I do not want to go and rename all the elements by hand in Figma.

Hi, all my libraries are facing the same issues: when I try to publish the changes, the modal appears, I press the “publish” button, but than nothing happens. It doesn’t work either with single components. I tried closing Figma, with the app, with browser but nothing changes. I am pretty sure there are no problems with my components. What could it be? It seems to be connected to my account, since I don’t face the same problem in client’s files. 

All the plugins I’ve looked at require you to first specify which component you want to find, and then surfaces other instances of that component. But I have a different use case.When handing off designs to dev, they want to know which components from the Design System are being used, and they need me to mark which ones have already been developed, and which ones are new. This allows them to estimate the effort needed. I have no idea how to just find out which components/instances are present in my file. I don’t want ❖CTA-button listed 5 separate times in some kind of layers panel. I just want ❖CTA-button (5), ❖text-input (3), etc. In the best case, it would even tell me where the component comes from (local or external library). Has anyone found a good way to do this?

If I make a square or an ellipse using ellipse tool or a rectangle tool and i am making sure that the vector is a closed path and it does not have any open path or a vector. After this i also flattened the vector and created a component after this also i am unable to see the Create Brush option.Please help with resolving the same issues.

Figma Motion is an amazing addition, and the API support is quite impressive considering it's still in beta. In particular, the ability to add keyframes manually is a great feature.However, I was disappointed to find that there's currently no way to add a keyframe at the current playhead position. This significantly limits the usefulness of manual keyframing workflows. It would be extremely helpful if you could either expose the current playhead position through the API or provide an option to insert a keyframe directly at the current playhead position.Additionally, "Rotate at Origin" is an essential part of Figma Motion's functionality, but as a plugin developer, I cannot support it in my plugin because this information is not exposed through the API.Please consider adding support for both of these features, as they are very important for plugin developers and would greatly improve the capabilities of the Figma Motion ecosystem.
