I have sort of a quirky issue with icons:I have a set of icons that are linked to my UI kit icons are placed in, e.g. icon button and applied variable for it’s height (it’s locked aspect ratio but we found out applying the variable to height is more reliable than width) we have 3 density modes: regular, compact, and ultra compact icon button nested in another component is causing the icon within to loose the 1:1 ratio when compact or ultra compact mode appliedThe issue disappears when component gets detached 😓 (The search icon in the screenshot below is nested even deeper what only proves the issue is with this components being nested.) 

Figma's UI already supports RTL/LTR text direction and shows a direction toggle in the sidebar. But this property isn't available through the Plugin API.Is there a reason textDirection isn't exposed on TextNode? It would be really helpful for building RTL ↔ LTR layout conversion tools. Right now we're stuck using textAlignHorizontal as a workaround, which doesn't fully replicate how native RTL text behaves.Would love to see something like textDirection: 'LTR' | 'RTL' | 'AUTO' added to the API. Is this on the roadmap?

I am using a professional plan but have suddenly lost access to plugins. They are now blocked by a popup that wants to convert the account to a full seat. I updated Figma this morning but the issue remains. All plugins are triggering this popup when selected.Would appreciate any help to resolve this bug as I’m unable to export variables which is a big issue for development. Clicking Actions and then selecting a plugin The plugin is blocked with this popup and there is no option to just use the plugin 

Hello! I have a black screen issue with the Figma Desktop app, even though the browser version works fine.It has been working on this device pervectly until yesterday. I’m using the latest version of both my OS and the Figma Desktop app. Internet connection is also fine and vpn is turned off.I’ve already tried to restart my computer, reinstall Figma, clear Figma cache. Nothing worrks. What can i do in this situation?  

When I try to duplicate my Figma Make protoype I get a request timeout error at 60s every time - is there anyway to fix this

Why is the responsive mode in the prototype preview so broken? When you create a page with components and layers and set them to fill mode, everything fits to 100% width or height in the design editor. This reflects typical development as expected. However, this doesn’t work in the prototype preview. When I set the prototype to responsive, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. For instance, I have a grid with cells. Those cells are set to fill. (In fact, everything in every layer is set this way). But when the prototype renders it breaks. Those cells sometimes are 100% the available area, other times they are set to their original rendered size from the frame. For example, the cells are set to fill and happen to measure at around 200px wide because the main container (frame) fits all the content this way in design mode. But when it goes into the prototype preview with responsive mode, sometimes those cells take up the width appropriately, other times they revert ba

Hi,Figma asked me to reverify my student plan. So I followed all the steps throughout the process, but the verification was never confirmed. I have now tried multiple times since, the exact same way my classmates did and got it to work, but I am now locked out. I can’t edit team files anymore, which is a big problem currently.Hope you can help me:)

Hey everyone I tried to search for a similar situation like mine, but couldn’t find anything. It seems that the drop shadow is being cut off in the PDF I exported. Like this:  But in the Figma file, the drop shadow is fine. I’ve tried to enclose the whole frame in another larger frame, but it still cuts off like that. Check the file here.

Hi I use a samsung a34 5g, I want to use the figma app, but when I open the app it ask me to login I click login but it says my chrome isn't updated, I checked chrome and figma and it fully updated, I don't know what to do any help please.

This is a similar question that i have mentioned. But as the solution provided by the reply is not helping me. The option not have for ‘custom size’ or ‘desktop sizes’ as you can see in the screenshot. I have changed to option like ‘Fit device on screen’ or ‘zoom device to fill screen’. But no use.Is this because I am using the ‘Free’ version of Figma?

While editing a web page using the AI generation feature, I was entering prompts in Japanese. However, when I pressed the Enter key to confirm text conversion (IME input), the prompt was immediately submitted to the AI. As a result, the text kept being sent unintentionally, and I was unable to finish typing a proper sentence.In cases where it only triggers a chat-style response, the impact is still manageable. However, when it is interpreted as a generation command, credits are continuously consumed and unnecessary page generations are executed repeatedly. This leads to significant unintended credit loss.This issue occurs consistently and is fully reproducible. This behavior appears to be a fundamental UX design flaw, and I strongly request that this issue be addressed and fixed as soon as possible.Thank you.

Hi Figma team, I need help with my account access.I suddenly lost access to my school email because it has been blocked/disabled by the institution. As a result, I can no longer log in to my Figma account that was registered using that school email.All of my important design files are stored in that account, and unfortunately I never set any email forwarding or secondary recovery email. Since I no longer have access to the school email at all, I’m unable to receive any verification emails or reset my login.Because of this, I would like to request assistance to change the email associated with my Figma account to a new active email, or any alternative method to regain access to my files.I can provide any information needed to verify ownership of the account.Thank you in advance for your support!

Hi everyone,I’m having an issue with my Figma setup and I’m hoping someone can help. My account seems to be stuck in a Team-only workspace, and I don’t have access to a Personal Workspace at all. Because of this, all my files, including Drafts, are inside a Team space, which means I keep getting upgrade prompts when I try to use plugins or certain features.I bought a Collab seat first because I was already seeing these upgrade warnings, and I thought that upgrading would solve the problem. But it didn’t, the warnings still appear, and all my files still behave as if they’re inside a paid team environment. I also created a second Figma account using the “personal use only” option, but the same thing happened: it automatically created a team with no personal space.At the moment:I only see one space under “Your Spaces” and it’s my team;There is no way to switch to Personal Workspace;I can’t create a new personal space;I can’t leave the team

The figma support doesnt reply and ignores on this type of ticket even I am a premium user. This is really unprofessional and unfair for customers not getting any support. HELP I’m trying to to create and type in a textbox as usual but it does not work: Clicking T (Text) Drag until desired size TypeAt step 3, when typing it doesn’t let me type but rather activates shortcuts.  

Hey folks, I’m having an issue where I can create webhooks via an OAuth app, but deleting them always returns 403 "Request denied". Same token, same permissions, same everything – deletion just won't work.The premise is the following:A user from my app adds their Figma team ID manually and then registers a team-level webhook for that team using my OAuth app.My setup- OAuth app with webhooks:read and webhooks:write properly configured- I'm a team admin of the team I’m trying to register a team-level webhook on.- Using OAuth 2.0 with a valid  token- The team I’m testing with uses a Pro planWhat works- Creating webhooks- Listing all webhooks for my teamWhat doesn’t work- Deleting any webhook I get a 403- Getting a specific webhook by ID via curl - I get a 403 there as well, oddly enoughEven weirder:

I’ve been experiencing this for months. did sync & unsync, publish & unpublish, and don’t ask how many times I had install & reinstall. but it still doesn’t work. the above is my screenshot on figma working file, below is the screenshot on my design system. on the working file it doesn’t updated, why is that? I am trying out the CMS content for the first time, as I create a Figma site. There appears to be an issue with paragraph spacing not applying as it should.Paragraphs (a single ‘return’) in text that uses my Body style in a Rich Text field aren’t displaying any paragraph space, despite paragraph spacing of (for example) 16 being defined in the Body text style. I tried defining the space value on all breakpoints, too. No luck.But if I add a forced line break (shift-enter), which should ‘not’ add paragraph spacing, it adds the paragraph spacing! This looks like a bug, and prevents me from adding correct spacing in many contexts. I am also not able to apply correct spacing to lists etc.Is this a known issue, or am I doing something wrong?

My page render perfectly 90% of the time, but sometime, it render completely broken like this (text blurred for privacy) And, one again,  the screen above render properly 90% of the time, except in cases such as these. I could provide plenty of other exemple, but the main idea is there. It is important to note that it is completely independent from the browser (it can even happen in Figma). BUT the problem here's quite big because it make user testings impossible in responsive mode since we can have these random glitches at any time 

I have created a card component that has a default and hover variant. I have attached all my text styles and created input properties so that a user can easily change the headline of the card. I want my hover state to have an underline for the headline text, but when I click on the hover headline and Cmd+U it applies to underline to all variants or vise versa removes it.In order to get it to work I have to detach the type layer from the property which obviously isn’t what I want because then the text won’t change. 🙄 OR I have to make a separate input property for hover which is dumb because then a designer has to input the same text twice (and I haven’t tested what that does in prototyping but I would imagine something would be funky there) This seems like a newer update because I didn’t have this issue maybe just a few months ago and I haven’t changed my process at all. I have tried naming the layers differently and that also doesn’t do anything. But I can s
