Report a Problem

Command + /  has always worked but instead brings up a Search box.  Command + .  hides/shows UI.    Why is this and if a common change why do the dropdown menus still list the ‘Command + /’ quick key? Also the haven’t used any new apps (Notion, Spotify and Logic Pro are the main ones) It’s super frustrating when this behavior occurs and want to know if this is something I’ve done or Figma just being slow to update documentation.

When right-clicking on the canvas, it unexpectedly selects lock layers. It complicates when you’re trying to use “Paste here.” Is this a bug?

Hi,I'm currently working with a published design system library in Figma (SiteGiant Design System).I noticed an issue where the library dropdown in the variable panel only shows “All Libraries” without listing specific libraries (refer to the first attached screenshot).However, when I duplicate the same library (SiteGiant Design System Copy), the dropdown correctly shows all libraries, including the newly duplicated library (refer to the second attached screenshot).What I Have Tried: Relaunching the Figma app. Restarting the entire system. Testing in both Figma Desktop App and Browser. Problem: I want to resolve the dropdown issue in the original library without needing to re-link all components and variables to the new duplicated library. Re-linking would be time-consuming and error-prone. Question: Has anyone experienced this issue where the library dropdown fails to list individual libraries in the variable panel? Is there a way to resolve this without duplicating the library

​ I embedded the Figma prototype link into my webpage, displayed as a popup. I also adjusted the size to fill the entire popup. At this point, I expect that clicking the confirm button in the bottom right corner will take me to the next page. However, the tool layer below is blocking it, so clicking the confirm button has no effect.My question is: can the position of the tool below be adjusted?As the picture, this is the figma prototype link embed to the popup. We can see the “Frame ordering and navigation tool”, user can click to next page or click the restart icon.   ​

You used to be able to read figma comments straight from the email, meaning it was really quick and easy to at a glance see what was going on, and if you needed to jump into the file and join the conversation.Now you don’t get any information except “6 new comments” and have to load the file and hunt for all the new comments manually.It probably made life easier for someone at Figma, or reduced server costs or something, but it’s SUCH a pain as a designer. Please change back 🙏

Hi Figma, A file on my account is unavailable. I keep refreshing and searching but I get the error message that it’s either it’s unavailable or deleted but I only have access to it and it wasn’t deleted.

We are reading font tokens with a script. Most is working well as expected. We just have one strange situation where the Bariol 700 font weight is arriving mostly as 400 but in one case also as 500.   All other fonts in this same document, Roboto, Bree Serif, are imported correctly.  This post reported a similar issue but also suggests that it was fixed. I’m not sure if there’s something with the setup of the Figma file itself.  

I swear this used to work, i have all my icons created as components with 2 variants of different sizing. I used to be able to select all and tab in order to select all the small icons, but now it seems I can’t:I try to tab but nothing happens..

There is an issue with text loading in the correct size in both Safari and Chrome for a published website. The text always loads at its smallest size. To recreate:> Start a new SITE> Pick a template (for example “Simple Wedding”)> Publish the site> Open in browser on desktop/laptop All text with multiple styles will display at the smallest size (mobile)TO FIX - you must drag your browser window to a small(set) size, and then to largest size to see the next displayed correctly. Refreshing the page forces the text to the wrong size againThis makes sites unusable as text sizing is not displaying correctly across breakpoints

Just wanted to call out that the Corner Radius settings were not being applied to the other breakpoints for some reason.  

Yesterday I had a big problem with Figma, it simply broke all the flows that had already been made. I had also previously used the Html to Design plugin. But even redoing the prototyping flows it continued to break and turn off flows. 

I use Android tablet in Figjam, and when I need to erase a text, it's impossible because the delete button doesn't work, but if I connect the tablet keyboard, the delete button on keyboard work.

I was attempting to set-up 2-step auth for my figma account via Authy authenticator app and was unable to scan qr code entirely or use the input string to generate a code that worked to link my account to Authy. I reverted to mobile SMS 2-step auth for now.

Hi,I'm trying out Figma sites. Looks very promising. It's nice to finally bring a design to life myself. It won't be long before it feels like you're saving a PDF from Indesign.What I'm running into quite quickly is setting a background pattern on top of a solid color. I use a SVG as a component for this, but at that moment the preview goes black. In edit mode it looks fine.Any suggestions? Best regards,Aran

There’s no way I am the only one lagging in new UI. I reinstalled figma twice. I am looking at Sequoia 15.4.1. and  thinking to reinstall. Can someone please tell me they are expiring this perhaps this is just issue with intel based macs. I have i9 128GB memory. 

I annotated a whole file for QA and then came back to it an none of the annotations are showing. I checked that the view > annotations is turned on, and ensured I was in dev mode and they only show up when I click on the item I annotated but disappear again when I un-click it. Example ^ I have to click on the redline for the annotation to show up, but then it disappears. 

Hi, I have a card element that has a white fill with 80% opacity. In my prototype using smart animation, some black appears when the layers move. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hey everyone,I'm running into a strange issue in Figma with a gradient I'm working on. When I set both gradient stops to 100% opacity, the black renders perfectly—no problems at all. But as soon as I change just one of them to 99%, I start seeing the fill isn’t fully black.Has anyone else experienced this in Figma? Is there a known reason why dropping the opacity by just 1% would cause this kind of issue? I'm wondering if it's a rendering bug, a color profile issue, or something else entirely.Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! G.

I'm experiencing an issue in Presentation mode. When I adjust the delay or duration of an animation, the components involved completely disappear in the prototype view.This is happening across all my files on figma. I've tried different browsers, the desktop app, and changing animation types — the issue only appears when I modify these timing values (delay/duration).Any ideas or workarounds? It’s kind of annoying cuz makes the works takes longer. 

Reposting this because the topic was closed without solution. Just ran into this problem. I have a nested swappable component and after swapping the component the swapped component had a purple outline as though it would be selected which it wasn’t.When I duplicated the Instance the outline was gone in the duplicate. So I deleted the ‘faulty’ instance and all was good. So that could be a workaround. Hope it helps someone.Happy designing and bugchasing to everyone! 😉 

A teammate created a FigJam template in our Organization. There seems to be a glitched duplicate of the template that we want to remove, but are unable to (the teammate who created the originial template can’t see it in her files, either, though it says it was created by her). We can see the template in the Templates and Tools section but are unable to modify it there (even as an admin).
