Hello Figma Support Team,I am writing to report a bug that occurred in one of our shared Figma design files.On April 23, 2025, a version was saved by an unknown editor (no name displayed in the version history), and at that point, a large number of objects on a page had disappeared.【Details】- Date of occurrence: April 23, 2025- File type: Shared design file (access is managed by invitation only)- Issue: A large number of objects on a page were deleted without any intentional action by our team members- Version history: A version checkpoint exists at the time of the incident, but the editor's name is not shown- MCP usage: One of our team members (an engineer) had the Figma MCP server enabled during development work around the same period
Hello,We have the finance department’s email added and they have unchecked all types of notifications as seen in the screenshots. However, they are still receiving notifications for things such as when someone requests a seat upgrade. Is there a way to fully turn this off? Or is it because the user is an admin that they receive these notifications? Thanks
I can't see the slide editing panel correctly or completely. The top part appears "cut off" and is sometimes transparent, showing the other open windows behind.
Hi,I’m experiencing a recurring issue with access to a Figma board I’ve been invited to collaborate on.At one point, I had full access — I was able to view and edit the board without any problems. However, when I tried to open the same link again today, I received the following message:“Looks like this file is restricted. To access it, you need to join the X organisation first. Ask to be added.”The confusing part is that I had already requested access previously and was granted it, as I was able to edit the file. I’m not sure why access is now restricted again.Could you help clarify what might be causing this and how to resolve it?Thank you in advance.
Dear Figma Support Team,I am writing to request assistance regarding my Figma Education plan.I successfully completed student verification through SheerID, and the Education plan was initially applied to my account. However, I accidentally signed in first using my personal email address, which caused the Education plan to be associated with that account.Afterward, I updated the account email to my educational email address. I found the Radial Repeat as a really useful feature. Because we only need to edit one and it will automatically change the others. But there’s an issue with it. As you can see here, I tried to use the radial repeat for the shape.Next I’ll save the radial repeat group to SVG and use it in Figma.As you can see, the result only saved the main shape, not all the radial repeat group. Well I can just save it as a PNG, but when it comes to detail, SVG is unmatched.

Hello!This issue is getting on my nerves for over a year.So, the issue is basically reported in this topic from 7 months ago and it seems that it’s still not fixed properly.In short, when I copy some element and try to paste it somewhere else, it’s 50% chance it will paste what I copied moments ago or something from the last clipboard state. I’m 100% certain I clicked Ctrl + C before.To answer community support member right away - I’m on windows, but other member on my team is using Mac and encounter SAME issues as I do. Also, it’s not linked to the specific file, it happens all the time.Also, when I try to copy something from computer back to figma, it’s also working in the same unpredictable manner.How to fix this please?
Design changes on figma make after running a prompt is reflecting, but the same change is not vanishing after page refresh/next day. If I do preview of respective previous version of any design change, then also not able to see the change.
Hello Figma Support team,I have a question regarding version history availability after upgrading my plan.I currently have access to a file where version history only shows approximately the last 30 days. The file itself was created much earlier.Before upgrading to a paid plan, I would like to clarify:1. If I upgrade my account, will I be able to access version history older than 30 days for this existing file?2. Or are older autosave versions permanently deleted and cannot be restored after upgrade?3. Does upgrading unlock hidden history, or only preserves history going forward?Additionally, I have a more specific question:If multiple projects were created within a single file (for example, several designs made for one client inside one draft file), is it possible to determine when a specific frame or design block was originally created?For example:- Can I see the creation date of a specific frame?- Or track when a particular element first appeared in the file through version history?

“Pending” status on my app since 4 weeks ago. Is this normal?
After publishing updates to a variables library and pulling them into a consuming file, existing theme‑level overrides were reset and reverted to the library defaults. Overrides that were previously set in the consuming file were lost after the library update, even though they were not intentionally removed.

Help! I recently made a prototype for user testing but when it is published and shared, all the text in the prototype is italicized. I've tried doing some research and using prompts to try and fix this, I’ve copied it into a new file, done lots of troubleshooting but I wonder if this is a Figma make bug? It was fine at first and then suddenly everything was italicized. Would love any support on this. Thanks!
i have a library that works the intended way for previously published color styles, but no new ones. not sure which update this feature stopped working but it would at least be the start of the new year, since that is when i would have pulled the colors that are working through the library. i have changed the names of a few of the color styles that still work correctly and published to confirm it is still linking to the library correctly. context: i have a fill style that i need to apply across a few assets, that fill color is pulled in from a library. we’ll call the assets “hero-block-wide-bg” and the fill named “dark teal” is from the library. “dark teal” only shows up as a fill style where i would select “hero-block-wide-bg” color fill, not in the properties section of “hero-block-wide-bg” color selection. other colors from the same library do show up however. current workaround is the “dark teal” from the library shows up under “custom”, but then just fills with the hex which isn
