Version history corrupted after restore (v60-v79 all show same old state)

File name: Design LMS Wireframe

Workspace/team: 곽시윤's team

Around 1:40 PM today, I restored/viewed an older version (~v23).

Before that, version 77 correctly showed my latest work.

After the restore event, all versions from v60–v79 now display the same outdated canvas state.

I carefully checked the visible version history and could not find any separate autosave checkpoints in the UI.

This appears to be a version history/snapshot reference issue.

Is there any way to recover the pre-restore checkpoint or autosave state server-side?

Hi, @GwakSiyun! This sounds pretty confusing.

Just to make sure I understand what happened, your file had versions from at least version 79 going backwards to v23 or earlier. These all showed various changes to your design. You restored version 23, and now all of those versions after v23 lost the changes and just reflect what version 23 shows. Is that correct? You are correct that this is unexpected - restoring a previous version essentially copies that version and creates a new version out of that, thereby continuing to preserve all versions.

If you close and re-open the file, does it still do this (or as an alternative, open in browser if you use the desktop app or vice versa)?

Yes, that's correct.

Before restoring/viewing version 23, versions up to v79 all showed different stages of my work correctly.

After restoring/viewing v23, all later versions (v60–v79) now show the same outdated state as v23.

I already tried:
- restarting the desktop app
- reopening the file
- checking in browser/Desktop
- checking visible version history carefully

The issue still persists across all environments.

This project contains a large amount of recent work, so I would really appreciate it if this could be checked as soon as possible. Thank you.

Additional detail:

It seems that not all pages are affected equally.

For example, in version 77, my “My Learning” page is showing an older/outdated state, while some other parts of the file appear newer.

This makes me think the issue may be affecting specific page/frame snapshots rather than the entire file uniformly.
