Charged for extra seat on auto-renewal can I get a refund/credit?

Hi everyone,

My monthly Professional plan auto-renewed today (May 18, 2026) and I was charged $50.16 for 2 Full seats, but I only intended to keep 1 paid seat. The second seat belongs to a teammate I didn't plan to renew for this cycle.

A few details:
- Invoice number: NGW3F59R-0004
- Billing period: May 18 – June 18, 2026
- The charge was processed today, so the new cycle has only just started
- I'm removing the extra seat from my plan now, so it won't be used at all during this period

I know Figma's policy is that subscription payments are generally non-refundable, but since the charge happened literally today and the seat will have zero usage on this cycle, I'm hoping a refund (or at minimum a credit toward the next invoice) is possible.

Has anyone been in a similar situation? And could a support team member please take a look at my account?

Update: Good news, I can see that the support agent has now adjusted your billing 🙂
As a best practice, to help avoid unintended seat upgrades in the future, we’d also recommend reviewing your seat approval settings and admin permissions configuration. You can can follow the steps in these guides: Set approval settings for new seats and Manage seats in Figma.
