Hey Figma Community!!!My company is switching our design system to use Untitled UI Figma Library (Variable version). I’ve managed to apply our colors using the variable panel but now I’m tackling the font and how boy I’m struggling… If you’re familiar with Untitled UI, they’re using Inter as their body typeface. Inter has all the font weight you can imagine, including Semi-bold. In their component lib, they are using the Semi-bold font-weight A LOT. My company font only has Regular, Medium and Bold (no italic) and it’s been perfectly fine. My issue is as follow: I was able to replace the tape face in the variables by just renaming the Value for font-family. BUT since Untitled UI used Inter and specifically Inter Semi-bold in a lot of places in their components these instance now have an interrogation point when it calls to semi bold… Is there a way, in the Variable panel or the Styles to tell the document that every text layer currently usin

Hi,I would very much like to switch to Figma. Previously, I worked with Adobe and Miro. I recently started using FigJam, and while I really enjoy it, I am missing one important feature: the ability to upload images from the mobile app.This limitation is quite inconvenient for me and makes me hesitate to purchase a paid account. Therefore, I was wondering whether this feature is planned to be added to Figma or FigJam in the near future.Can anyone please let me know if this is something that will be updated, so I can take this into consideration when making my decision?Thank you in advance for your time and help.

Hi fellow Figma users, I have registered and am a student of an ongoing bootcamp. While every one of the students has full access to the bootcamp Figma files, my access keeps getting changed into view only. The admin of the bootcamp has been in touch with Figma multiple times and they approved my account, but I still get the same problem, and the issue has not been resolved. We are half through the bootcamp, and I only had full editing access for the first week. This is very frustrating, and I cannot participate in any of the group activities. I also have no way of contacting Figma directly to solve the issue with their assistance. has anyone experienced similar issues? @dvaliao @Celine_Figma

Hey Figma team,I wanted to report a problem that’s been bugging our team for the past few months. We have an Icon Library in our design system, as well as a separate glyph library. These icons are used in different sizes across the product (16px, 24px, etc.). The master components of each icon and glyph contain elements which are all set to ‘scale’.However, within our larger components, whenever we want to swap an instance of an icon with a different one from our library, the scaling (of dimensions, stroke width, and border radius) is not properly applied, resulting in a broken view. One example is:We have a nested icon component scaled to 16x16px; We replace the instance with another icon from either library (original component of which is 24x24 but all elements set to scale) and expect it to scale properly to the 16x16 dimensions. Like thousands of other students, I tried to activate the Education plan to use Figma for my studies.Your verification partner, SheerID, first blocked me with a generic error: "Verification Limit Exceeded."I followed the support procedure ("Get help") as instructed. The response I received was an insult: a SheerID agent informed me that my request could not be processed and that my "ticket has now been permanently closed."With no explanation, no reason given, and no way to appeal.I am now stuck in limbo: I am a real student, eligible for the Education plan.  I’m having this afterimage and resolution bug on the desktop app   Every component leave this afterimage that fades away after 1 or 2 seconds (sometimes they don’t)  This problem started today (01/08)  It’s occurring only on my desktop, on my laptop it’s normal My Pc specs: Processor AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 8-Core Processor Video Card NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Operating System Windows 10 RAM 32 GB

What does the figma dev package offer, the one for $15, does it give 3000 AI credits and how do I track my AI credits to know my usage and know how to use the credits wisely. 

I have upgraded to professional . I still cant work on any of my projects i think they are in view only mode. I am the only one on my team so just looking to work on my own stuff 

After receiving an email notification titled “Subscription renewal reminder” for my annual subscription for two full seats totaling $384.00, I downgraded the seats to view-only in order to cancel my subscription.Despite this, I was invoiced $384.00 today even though the seats had already been downgraded. This is an error, and I should not have been charged.Additionally, there is no clear way to contact support, the billing system is extremely confusing, and there is no straightforward process to downgrade or cancel a subscription.I am requesting a full refund of $384.00.

When in either the app or browser based Figma app, I am encountering a bug when I attempt to select one or more items. When making the selection, the selection bounding box, flashes on and off making it difficult to see what’s selected and not selected. This seems to happen consistently after I have been working in the app for a while. Refreshing in the browser seems to fix the issue but for the desktop app, i have to restart it.

I’m learning Figma step by step and wanted to hear from people who have been using it for a while. Right now, I’m focusing on the basics like frames, auto layout, and components, and trying to build simple layouts without overcomplicating things. Some days it feels smooth, and other days I realize I’m still missing small but important details.For those with more experience, what helped you the most in the early stages? Hi I’ve tried three different prompts within figma make but when it’s done doing it’s magic the preview area isn’t showing anything. Just a blank page. However when I open the code editor I do see code. Am I doing something wrong here or am I missing something?

Hi guys, would love to get your help.I am trying to create a component (demonstration below) of a square in figma that when you hover your mouse on it it shows a picture in the square, and then i entered it into a a different component that repeats itself in a frame (like a square grid).I want that when you tap on that component, it changes the variant state of the Squarescreen which is a differnt component. Saw a youtube tutorial and the problem it created was that when i tapped on it it only made the hover state of the component freeze so it looks like it just made the picture stay there but i want it to change the state of the variant in the squarescreen. any help please?  

I’m building a portfolio/website using Figma Sites. On my homepage, I have different containers for each project, and my goal is that when I click on a project, instead of opening a new page, it triggers an overlay on top of the homepage showing that project’s text and images.I created an interactive banner using code so I could reuse the same template for every project. Now that I’m starting to replace the content, I’ve realized I need a better way to update the images for each project.Right now, the only method I’ve found is to manually drop the images into the Figma file, convert each one into code, and then copy that code as an import into the original banner so the component knows where the image is coming from.I’m wondering if there’s an easier way to manage this—ideally a place where I can store all my images and update them whenever needed. Everything else on the site can be changed with simple copy/paste, so I’m hoping images can work the same way.

I’ve burned through all my credits for the month… but now I can’t see how much each prompt is using anymore. I need to see the credits that would have been used if we weren’t in this trial period where I’m beyond the monthly max.Without that, I don’t know how much more credits I may need.

I have a problem. Last month, I was mistakenly charged for an extra seat. I removed it, but I was billed again. I don't need six seats; I want to pay for five. Please issue me a new bill for five seats. Remove any random options that could have arisen due to someone's mistake and would have resulted in a price higher than five seats. Hey All I’m learning Figma to build my companies website and seem to be having issues 1. in Figma and 2. when importing to webflow.  Seems like my NavBar menu is stuck down and won’t go up either in Figma or in webflow and I know there is a linking issue but can’t seem how to fix it. Any help would be great!

I have made multiple attempts to cancel my subscription(s) and close my account, yet I continue to be charged. When I copy any Figma frame using Cmd+Shift+C (copy as png), it gives a message “copied as png” but when I try to paste it in google slides, it doesn’t work. As if there’s nothing in the clipboard. Tried clearing the clipboard still doesn’t work.

Hello, I have a problem with emojis. It’s impossible to add them in project.I’m on Windows 10 and I use the desktop app. When I open the emojis window, whatever the one I select, it does not appear in my frame or layer’s title.How can I fix this ?
