Are there any resources for accordion menu templates or step-by-step guides for figma sites? I’ve found a few for other figma platforms but for some reason I’m struggling getting them to work well on sites.I’m particularly interested in an expandable menu in which the text can be formatted in columns (or, alternatively, the option to create multiple text boxes with Autolayout within the expandable menu).Thank you! 

Hi Figma support, I have an urgent issue to ask: Figma could not display a sticky bottom bar when I used “Fixed in place” ,absolute positioning and set my prototype to iphone 13 setting. The sticky bottom bar does not even appear on iOS iphone 13!! I’ve tried using Last on top and First on top canvas stacking. Both only works on android device but not on iOS device on mobile in prototype mode!! I read that iOS mobile browser dun accept positioning of Figma! How can I overcome it?

I’m unable to see (zoom) files easily because the ‘ctrl +-’ shortcut is very hard to reach on my keyboard with one hand, as a result of an accident.Please add a magnifying zoom tool in the toolbar!!!!!!!!!! PS loooove figma!!👍

Has anyone had issues with a font truncating to an ellipsis with 2 dots vs. 3 dots? is there a way to fix that as it’s really throwing my client off even though we’ve tested the font in a web browser and it displays properly there - just not in Figma prototypes.

Unable to publish website due to this error message.  No images arent my own.  How do I fix this?

I love Figma, and it’s the first tool I open every day. Recently, I have been getting a figma session time out error every day. My teammates has reported the same. It’s making me login via Browser (SSO login) every single day for the past 2-3 weeks. It’s not been the most delightful way to start my day, as the first thing I do as a product designer is to open Figma. It use to just work. Is there anything I can do to fix this? Thank you!

I have this library where the button component does not update its thumbnail. It has been like that for years. I have already made many updates to the component, republished the library, but nothing has worked.As you can see in the image below, there is an instance of the component that uses a very bright Violet color, but its thumbnail does not load the background color, only the text color and border. Any thoughts on how to fix that? I've been avoiding it for like I said, years, but recently I got a task that requires easily identifying library components, and for the button, it needs to be highlighted with the violet color, which is not the current situation. Here is an image of how the component styles are set (easily noticeable that the "Fill" is missing from the thumbnail):

Hey everyone,I’m running into an issue with component resizing in Figma. I’ve set constraints on child elements (e.g., left & right for buttons inside a container), but when I resize the main component, the elements don’t behave as expected. Sometimes they overlap, and other times they don’t scale proportionally.I’ve checked: Auto layout settings (both fixed and fill options) Whether the frame is set to "hug contents" or "fixed width" Nested component constraints Has anyone else faced this? Any tips on getting constraints to behave properly when resizing?Thanks in advance!

Where did the actions go with the inspect button when an object is selected? I can use the inspector but there are no longer any options, including the “jump to code” feature that I use constantly to make minor adjustments. 

Hi All!I keep having this issue, where mode palette shows info icon that means that some variable(s) somewhere are causing some issue. The design system I manage has a lot of variables and styles ( tokens ) and tons of component files. I went through all the files already, updating and publishing everything. Still the alert persist. Visually I can’t tell if the issue is causing some components to not update properly, and no errors were detected during the long, manual process of updating and publishing all the components. Is there a way to see where the issue is exactly? Is Figma planning to release some sort of better detection for conflicting variables?

yesterday I was working in my file after 2 weeks and I made small changes in 1 of the frames.But when I opened it today, not only was my yesterday’s work gone, half work from more than 2 weeks ago was also gone.Most of it was text, but some images have disappeared too.

My Figma account was suspended about a week ago, and since then I can’t access any of my files or ongoing work. I reached out to Figma Support, but I still haven’t received any response. My work is completely blocked right now because everything is stored in my account.Could someone please let me know how long it usually takes to get a reply from support?Thank you in advance!

I’m working on a project with 2 files:the Design system, containing the entire component, style and variable library the Delivery file, containing the final mockups.I draft mockups from a “Sandbox” page on the Design system as a way to save time by limiting library publications & updates. Then once it’s ready, I copy/paste the final mockups from the Design system file to the Delivery file.Until now I had no issue. But today, I’m getting the following message:I don’t understand why I’m getting this message. Obviously I want to keep all variables attached only to the Design system file as the single source of assets.I’ve double-checked: the library in the Design system file was fully published and updated on the Delivery file before I copy/pasted the mockups into the latter file. Hi everyone, I’ve built a design system documentation using Figma Sites. Everything works well except for one issue: when I scroll through the sidebar and click on an item that links to another page, the sidebar resets to the top, since it is in that state in all other pages. Is there any way to preserve the sidebar’s scroll position when navigating between pages? (I came up with a workaround, but it's not ideal: I put all sections into a single page, so clicking an item scrolls to the connected section instead of going to another page. This preserves the sidebar position, but with over 100 sections, the site becomes slow) Would appreciate any solutions.

Is there some special trick to get Make to display images? I’ve tried importing image files, copying and pasting as png from Figma Design, pasting frames from Design…it will work for 1 or 2 prompts, and then I’ll get a broken image. 

I have a paid plan and my client has a paid plan. We have two files with the design system and design pages. I usually change components, publish the design system library, and work with these components in the design pages files. But now I can't publish it. Is it a new update or something? I'm invited as an external editor to the client's Figma, and today we tried to invite only me as an editor to his Figma. And it's still not working, even though the client paid for my full seat.P.S. I can publish libraries on my own pro team 

I got a strange problem on my iMac M1 with Safari on macOS Tahoe.Figma is somehow stuck in loadingstate - it seems there is a problem with the web sockets. The strange thing is, on my M4 MacBook Air it's working. If I clear Website Data it starts working, but doesn't keep on working. 

Hi, I’m having trouble with the dropdown menu overlapping other elements on my page. I looked at another thread that had the same issue and it had something to do with the layering, which doesn’t make sense as the whole frame is on top. And I’m also trying to figure out why every time I press an option, all 3 of my dropdowns go to the selected options as opposed to 3 separate options. I understand that this is a variable problem, but I’m a bit stuck. I have one variable for the state (expanded, default), one for the category (industry, visual type, subject), and I believe I need one more so that each selection stays within its corresponding category after picking an option. 

I have already tried using the chat feature and submitted a ticket a while ago but still haven’t received a reply.So in September I bought a single Collab seat to add mp4 files to my Figma Slides. $5. That was literally the only reason I got it. (When I contacted the Support, they told me it’s possible to only buy a single Collab seat (without purchasing the whole Professional plan) so I did that.) I canceled it before it renewed.I got charged for the Professional Plan ($11.50) and it doesn’t make sense? The only other thing I did was give viewer access (just draft files) to my other personal accounts on Figma (so there are 3 viewer seats). NO edit access. I checked the settings, and it shows I’m on the free plan, and there’s no cancel button. But I got charged for the Professional plan, and I have no idea what’s going on.I have NEVER received an email/notification from Figma that my plan got upgraded to the Professional Plan in October. How do I cancel this? As

Hello,I had set up my file to prevent others from copying, downloading and exporting but now I can't access any of these options  How do I undo it please 

    My specific use case is this: I’m using figma to design yearbook spreads for our school’s yearbook. Instead of manually adding each photo for staff/student photos, I figured there must be a way to automate this.    So I made a component that I could use many times for staff and student pictures, which included text (the name of the person in the photo) and a picture. Instead of going into fill → photo → import from computer, I thought there must be a way to automate it even further. I found a plugin called “google sheets sync” that allows me to read data off of a google sheet and automatically put it in the component instances. I also made a google apps script that reads the folder where the photos are stored in google drive, parses the the file name to find the name of the person in the photo, and creates a link to that photo that can be accessed by anyone/thing. Importing off of this sheet worked great for the text, but the images failed to load. In the documentation fo
