Subject: Bug report: Copied designs lose layout and structure after some time

Hi Figma Support team,

I'd like to report a recurring rendering bug that has been seriously affecting my daily work.

**Summary**
When I copy a design from one file and paste it into another file, the pasted design looks correct at first. After some time, however, it breaks: the layout shifts, elements are resized or repositioned, and the information structure (frames, auto layout, nesting, hierarchy) is corrupted. The copy no longer matches the original design.

**Steps to reproduce**
1. Open File A, which contains a finished design (frames with auto layout, components, text and color styles).
2. Select the design and copy it (Cmd/Ctrl + C).
3. Open File B and paste it (Cmd/Ctrl + V).
4. Verify that the pasted design renders correctly — at this point it does.
5. Close File B, then reopen it later (or return to it after some time).
6. The pasted design now renders with a broken layout and a corrupted structure.

**Expected behavior**
The pasted design should remain visually and structurally identical to the source: same layout, spacing, sizing, auto layout settings, and layer hierarchy.

**Actual behavior**
- Layout shifts; spacing and alignment no longer match the original.
- Elements are resized or moved out of position.
- Auto layout settings and layer hierarchy are corrupted.
- The overall information structure of the screen is broken and has to be rebuilt manually.

**Frequency**

**Impact**
I work on complex, data-heavy enterprise products, so a single screen contains a lot of nested structure. When a copied design breaks, I have to rebuild it from scratch, which costs hours of work, blocks developer handoff, and makes it risky to reuse designs across files at all.
