Cannot open human support ticket, request refund for $160 unintended auto‑renewal Jan‑Aug 2026

Hi Figma Community Support,

My Figma registered account email:【Redacted PII - DJV 9/3/2026】Total claimed amount: $160 USD, 8 monthly charges of $20 each, January 2026 — August 2026.

I’m stuck in the bot‑only support loop and cannot reach any human support agent.

  1. The old support email support@figma.com only returns auto‑reply message, no human reads it.
  2. The in‑app help chat bot keeps redirecting me to the “Community purchases” refund guide, which only applies to plugins and community assets, totally irrelevant to my Pro‑plan monthly subscription. There is no self‑service refund button for my Pro‑subscription. The bot blocks me from opening real human support ticket.

Important facts:From Jan 2026 to Aug 2026, my payment method was automatically charged $20 every month. I had zero usage of Figma in this whole period, no log‑ins, no file creation or edits. I was unaware of the continuous auto‑renewal until I reviewed my bank statements.

I have already cancelled my Pro‑plan subscription to avoid further unexpected charges.

I formally request full refund of total $160 USD back to my original payment source.

Since I cannot submit a human support ticket by myself, could a Figma staff help create an official support ticket for my billing refund case? Please send the ticket to my registered email address. I can provide bank transaction screenshots if needed.

Thank you.

Hi @wenyishen, thanks for reaching out!

I’m Denise from the Community team at Figma. I understand the confusion and urgency here, so I’d be happy to help clarify. It looks like you recently replied directly to a Billing notification email (support+notifications@figma.com). This email address isn’t monitored by our support team. In the future, you can reach out to support directly here

That said, my team here on the forum isn’t able to assist with Billing issues, so I’ve created ticket #2112016 on your behalf to connect you with our support team directly. The team will review you account and be in touch soon. If you have any further questions or concerns, you can reach out to the support team directly by replying to the existing ticket via email.

Thank you for your prompt and helpful feedback. I needed to design an app for a course project and really liked your application. However, I’m not a professional designer, so I didn’t end up using it further. I will definitely recommend Figma Make to my friends. If I take on similar projects in the future, I’ll be sure to come back and use it again. Thank you so much!
