Hi guys, would love to get your help.I am trying to create a component (demonstration below) of a square in figma that when you hover your mouse on it it shows a picture in the square, and then i entered it into a a different component that repeats itself in a frame (like a square grid).I want that when you tap on that component, it changes the variant state of the Squarescreen which is a differnt component. Saw a youtube tutorial and the problem it created was that when i tapped on it it only made the hover state of the component freeze so it looks like it just made the picture stay there but i want it to change the state of the variant in the squarescreen. any help please?  

I’m building a portfolio/website using Figma Sites. On my homepage, I have different containers for each project, and my goal is that when I click on a project, instead of opening a new page, it triggers an overlay on top of the homepage showing that project’s text and images.I created an interactive banner using code so I could reuse the same template for every project. Now that I’m starting to replace the content, I’ve realized I need a better way to update the images for each project.Right now, the only method I’ve found is to manually drop the images into the Figma file, convert each one into code, and then copy that code as an import into the original banner so the component knows where the image is coming from.I’m wondering if there’s an easier way to manage this—ideally a place where I can store all my images and update them whenever needed. Everything else on the site can be changed with simple copy/paste, so I’m hoping images can work the same way.

I’ve burned through all my credits for the month… but now I can’t see how much each prompt is using anymore. I need to see the credits that would have been used if we weren’t in this trial period where I’m beyond the monthly max.Without that, I don’t know how much more credits I may need.

I have a problem. Last month, I was mistakenly charged for an extra seat. I removed it, but I was billed again. I don't need six seats; I want to pay for five. Please issue me a new bill for five seats. Remove any random options that could have arisen due to someone's mistake and would have resulted in a price higher than five seats. Hey All I’m learning Figma to build my companies website and seem to be having issues 1. in Figma and 2. when importing to webflow.  Seems like my NavBar menu is stuck down and won’t go up either in Figma or in webflow and I know there is a linking issue but can’t seem how to fix it. Any help would be great!

Hey all I am trying to enhance my code connect setup with code connect UI but I am currently facing some issues.I cannot connect my github repo to the design file system. Following the instructions, it redirects me to only create a new repo while I want to connect to an existing one I have connected most of my components through Code connect CLI and API, but I want to add some more context and MCP instructions via the UI but there is no option for this 

I have made multiple attempts to cancel my subscription(s) and close my account, yet I continue to be charged. When I copy any Figma frame using Cmd+Shift+C (copy as png), it gives a message “copied as png” but when I try to paste it in google slides, it doesn’t work. As if there’s nothing in the clipboard. Tried clearing the clipboard still doesn’t work.

Hello, I have a problem with emojis. It’s impossible to add them in project.I’m on Windows 10 and I use the desktop app. When I open the emojis window, whatever the one I select, it does not appear in my frame or layer’s title.How can I fix this ?

I’ve been designing data tables using components and variants. My setup is as such: Cell component is nested in a Row component, Row component is nested in a Table Component. Cell component has a text property and 2 variants for mobile/desktop. Row component has 2 variants for mobile/desktop. When I change the row component to the “desktop” variant, which also switches the Cell component to its “desktop” variant, the text property gets reset by to its default, and I have to key in all the Cell text again. Is there any way to avoid this? Thanks!

I’m having a bit of trouble with the ‘Manage libraries’ modal since I updated to Tahoe on Mac, and the latest Figma update. What used to happen: On the ‘Manage libraries’ modal there’s a list of components that can be updated. You would click on one of the rows and the modal content would change to ‘Review updates’ for that component. The back button would change the modal content back to ‘Manage libraries’.What happens now: When you click on one of the rows on the ‘Manage libraries’ modal, the ‘Review updates’ opens in a modal behind it. This seems like a bug as it is hidden by the ‘Manage libraries’ modal which stays open. If you click a different component to update, another ‘Review updates’ modal opens. The result is multiple ‘Manage libraries’ and ‘Review updates’ windows, it feels like a bit of a mess.

I recently submitted a question / request for some support regarding plans and billing changes, and the contact form on the main figma page doesn’t provide any confirmation if form submission has be succesful / failed - all things considered I’d expect Figma to have pretty good UX, but this doesn’t work for me…Same on multiple browsers/devices.

I’ve started using Figma and realised the “Zoom to selection” shortcut (Shift+2) does not work. I checked the assigned shortcut and it is correct, but it does not work on my PC. I’ve contacted support and the chatbot concluded it is an Opera browser issue, which is clearny not, as the same happens in Chrome. I do not have active extensions on those browsers that could block the action. And I use Windows with QWERTY keyboard. Is there anything to be done to fix this issue?

I am using Figma Make IA for rapid prototyping so that, starting in the second half of February, my students can use Figma to recreate the presentation and visualisation aspects (with the creation of components, layout, etc.) of a mobile + web app. I am quickly running out of IA credit. I can't go back to a specific point in time or restore.When I restore to a previously saved location, Safe Mode pops up. After confirming and going to the restore point, it takes a long time to load and then asks me to refresh. When I restore again, Safe Mode pops up and the above message repeats.I need to restore. Please help!

I’m trying to build a coverflow carousel like the one in this community file:  Though I’ve copied over step by step and same prototype settings, I’m unable to interact with it like above (i,e., it doesn’t slide with the cursor; it just smart animates into the next screen). The only difference is that the community file contains only an image within the frame, while I have primarily text in auto layout. How can I correct it?
